Fox: The what?
Dove: This place is the execution.
Fox: How did you come up with that?
Dove: I didn't. Something just told me.
Fox was getting a little panicky.
Fox: Dove, how do we get out of here?
Dove: Calm down or they'll come for you too. I-I'll think of something.
Fox: You promise?
Dove: Yeah I promise.
I stared at the white cage wall opposite of the one I was leaning against and thought. I was getting hungry and the lights hurt my eyes. This couldn't be heaven, and if it was I didn't like it. I wanted out. I sat there hugging my legs until a sudden peace stole over me. Then the quietness of the place took over and I was taken into dreamland.

I hit him again, this time in the jaw. The blood seemed to pour out from his head, but that didn't stop him from attacking again.
Dove: Why isn't he backing off?
I turned and fired a round house kick at him at full force knocking him backwards. He stumbled backwards trying to regain his balance. This was my chance. I faked a punch at his lower body, and before he had enough time to react with all my power I threw a punch at his neck. I could hear the familiar snap of his spine from anywhere.
Dove: That's what you get for starting a fight with me!
He fell backward, his eyes looking at me with a mixture of surprise and fear. I looked straight back into those eyes, which seemed so familiar. I walked over to him and gasped in shock at the horror I had caused.
Dove: Why out of all people you?
He lay there. His eyes, even though he was dead, were still as bright as they had always been. The light was gone now, but the shock and surprise still remained in them. His hair was still as sleek, shinny, and black as it had always been. Only the red streaks seemed to come put more in the light. His pale skin gave off an angelic glow in the light, not like the way it did when hunting. His neck had twisted in an awkward position, and the blood coming from it seemed to paint a picture out from under him.
Dove: No, I didn't mean to.
He looked so peaceful lying there, yet so afraid. There were bruises on his body, but even those had now stopped swelling up. He seemed so fragile. His body was limp. His knuckles seemed to be bleeding from all the punches he had thrown at me. The fur from his tail was gleaming red with blood, and it was a shock seeing him look like this. His ears didn't twitch either.
Dove: What have I done?
So much calm, and yet so much blood. Nearby a bird came hopping across the grass. Its black beady eyes caught mine as it slowly inched forward towards me. It was a finch and seemed interested in what just happened. Now that the shock was lifting ever so slightly tears began to form in my eyes. I had no way of stopping them as they fell on to my victim's sleeping form. The bird stopped in his tracks as I gave out a small sob as wondering if I was harmful after all.
Dove: No it's alright. I wouldn't hurt you. Come here.
I coaxed it with one had and it looked from my hand back into my eyes.
Dove: It's alright.
Ever so slowly the little finch moved forward. It came to the dead body and looked at it with great interest. It hopped on to the tail and snuggled into the red fur looking back up at me with those eyes. I looked at it in amazement and lay down on my victim's body to get a closer look at the bird. Our faces were only a few inches apart.
Dove: Why would you make your bed in such a horrible place?
The little finch tilted its head to the side as if to say "What do you mean horrible? It's actually quit warm."
Dove: I know. I've gone mad talking to a bird, no less a finch. If it were a parrot at least it wouldn't look like I've gone that mad.
The bird looked back at me with confusion. Then, I don't know if it was the bird itself or just me, it spoke.
Finch: Even something horrible can become something beautiful. Even the strangest and smallest of creatures can be given the greatest task.
Dove: So I'm not mad! What do you mean by beautiful? I see no beauty in gore.
Finch: That's not what I was talking about.
Dove: Then what are you talking about?
Finch: The answer lies within you.
Dove: How can I find the answer?
The finch only tilted his head again.
Dove: I thought you could talk! Please tell me how can I find the answer inside myself?
The finch spread its wings testing the wind currently and flew up into the sky.
Dove: Where inside myself can I find myself?
Finch: Your heart! Even better your soul!
Dove: How?
The finch was out of site before I could get an answer. I looked back at the peaceful dead body. Anger rose up inside of me, and I screamed out in agony.
Dove: How!

Fox: Dove shut up!
Fox kicked the wall of my cage.
Fox: Are you trying to bring them over here? I thought you were going to plan and not get us killed?
Dove: That's it!
Fox: What's it?
I looked down at the white flooring which had now begun to hurt my eyes again. If this didn't work out right we'd be dead.
Fox: Tell me Dove what's it?
Dove: Fox?
Fox: Yeah?
Dove: Start screaming.
