"I don't know what to do though, Neil." I sighed, "I love him, so much."
"Did you tell him everything?" he asked, handing me a glass of water and sitting next to me on his couch.
"Thanks." I smiled, "No, I didn't get the chance to tell him I'm a call girl. He walked out on me first."
"You have to tell him eventually." he said.
I shook my head, "He doesn't need to know, he's not coming back."
"Just be honest with him, then you can start over again."
"I don't want to start over. And honestly Neil, would you want to fall in love with a junkie whore?"
Neil just kind of shrugged, "I don't know."
"Exactly." I sighed, leaning against the wall.
"C'mon Mary, it could be much worse." Neil said.
"You're right." I sighed, "I could be living at home with my family."
"Are you trying to say something?" he asked.
I smiled, "Not at all, Mr. Boshart."
"That's what I thought." he smiled, pulling me into a hug.
"I need to go meet up with a client now." I said.
Neil sighed, "Call me when you're done."
"Why?" I asked, grabbing my purse from the floor.
"Because," he smiled, "I worry about you."
"Thanks Neil." I said, smiling back, "I'll be sure to check in with you when I'm done."
"Okay, I hope you feel better babe."
I nodded and waved bye before getting in my car and driving off to another appointment.
Everyone's a building burning with no one to put the fire out.
