Everyday♥ | Rock Lee | One-Shot

Well, haha, I didn't die! w00t. Anyway, this was meant for Rain's birthday last year, but I never got 'round to finishing it. She's an awesome gal. Go read her stories now!! Bwahahah. I sincerely apologize for the stupidity of my brain, for I do not know how to write one-shots. Ever. And this took...approximately 30 minutes. That's why it sucks so bad. Omg. -hides face in paper bag- Forgive me, rain. D: Warning! This one-shot will make your eyes bleed. It probably butchered poor Rockie, too. D: Consider yourself warned.

I would reeeeeeally appreciate it if you listened to this while reading the rubbish below. It covers up some of its utter crapiness (: And it really matches the theme, hehee ♥

Everyday, she woke up with a small grimace on her petite face.

Everyday, she dressed herself up, in hope to capture the attention of a certain pale, lavender-eyed genius.

Everyday, she opened her door to find a small garland of flowers laid beautifully on her doorstep.

Everyday, she discarded them after reading the same small note attached to it from Konoha's Green Beast.

Everyday, she shuddered.

---

Everyday, she met him at the crossways to the academy.

Everyday, he'll greet her with a bright beam, sparkling teeth and his 'nice guy' pose.

Everyday, she'll stare at him for a few seconds before spotting the Hyuuga prodigy. With a small squeal, she'll rush over to him and leave Konoha's Green beast alone, all forgotten.

Everyday, he still forgave her.

---

Academy days were over. She was assigned on the same team as her lifetime crush, Hyuuga Neji, and her lifetime pest, Rock Lee.

No matter how hard she tried, she just couldn't capture the prodigy's eye.

No matter how hard he tried, he just couldn't capture the eye of the one girl he thought the world of.

She worked and trained so hard, just to impress him.

He work and trained harder, just to gain a little attention from her.

They both failed.

But they didn't give up.

---

Years passed. They were already fifteen. Nothing had changed.

They were on a mission.

Weeks after weeks, they fought for the sake of their village. Days after days, they continued without a wink of sleep or more than a few minutes to enjoy their food.

Finally, they prevailed. They had won.

The aftermath, she got seriously ill and was taken to the hospital.

---

Everyday, she spent her time in the hospital, not able to do anything but hope and wish and stare out her window.

Everyday, he visited with a new bouquet of flowers and a small basket of fruits for her.

Everyday, she wished the pale lavender-eyed genius would just stop by to ask her how she was feeling.

Everyday, he helped her walk around everywhere she wanted to go.

Everyday, he read out letters and get-well-soon cards because he wanted to let her rest.

Everyday, he made her laugh at his little jokes.

Everyday, she wished for the pale lavender-eyed genius a little less.

Everyday, he would make her heart skip a beat by popping his head through the door or window and wiggling his bushy eyebrows at her.

Everyday, he would greet her with his 'nice guy' pose, his teeth and eyes sparkling.

And everyday, she would smile back.

---

Discharged from the hospital, she was finally free.

He, of course, came to pick her up, balloons in hand and the other arm out for her hand.

She, of course, took it, and they stepped out into the sun.

The cheer and beauty of the rebuilt village greeted them happily and her other teammate, a certain pale, lavender-eyed boy, welcomed her back, along with her eccentric teacher.

And she just beamed up at Konoha's Beautiful Green Beast, who stood tall next to her.

---

Everyday, she woke up with a small smile on her petite face.

Everyday, she dressed herself up to impress her loved one, even though she knew she didn't need to.

Everyday, she opened her door to find him standing on her doorstep, flowers in hand.

Everyday, she took the flowers along with the arm offered.

And everyday, she smiled.
