You trudged through the snow as you pulled his cloak up over your mouth and nose to help keep your face warm. You huffed, your breath warming your face as you walked through the early lights of dawn. It had snowed again during the night, making the snow deep and fresh; free of nearly any tracks of the other villagers aside a few of the other early birds. Early mornings were always very cold.
Too cold for me in fact. I hate it when it gets this cold. I can never seem to stay warm.
I'm rather used to it. Ive lived here my whole life, so the cold mornings don't bother me at all.
Guhhh Why am I even up this freaking early?!
Either way, it was a relief when the door to your single roomed school unlocked. It was a chance to get out of the cold and warm up a bit. Untying your large snow boots, you take them off and leave them next to the door to dry off. Walking towards the fireplace across the large, spacious room, you tap your foot on the ground a moment to adjust your boot that you wore underneath your snow boots. Making it over to the rather large fireplace you began tossing wood in to light so you could warm the room up some more.
Wow, I will never get over how large this fireplace is. This must've been a large kitchen or something. You could cook enough for ten people in this thing.
Jeeze, need fire, its not much warmer in here than it is out there! Aww crap, Im almost out of wood. Im going to have to go chop some more today.
Oh shoot, where did the matches go? Shoot, how am I going to light this fire now? Id better look for them.
Somehow you got a fire going, and stood in front of it to make sure it grew instead of just fizzling out. After the fire started to catch on most of the logs you turned around towards the table across the room, near the door you came in through not moments ago. On it were several different swords, practice swords, and practicing armor so no one would get hurt while training. The only sword not present on the table was your rapier at your side, which you were so fond of. Turning around once more, you started walking
Towards the center of the room, where I take out my rapier and begin to practice with it, pretending to be in the midst of battle.
Towards the piano not too far off from the fireplace. There I sit on the smooth bench and lift the cover to reveal ivory keys, pressing a few before actually starting to play a somewhat complex, yet soothing song.
The fireplace is the first place I go. Its still too cold in here!
Whatever it was you were doing, you were interrupted by the sound of your front door opening. Who could it be at this time of day? None of your students ever came this early. You turned your head to see who it was who decided to let themselves into your studio.
[Woof! Sorry for the shortness. Most of these will probably be short since there's so many different things that can happen. Also it's late and I'm tired. Hope you enjoyed this one, and hope to see you at the next one as well.]
It was a young woman who stood in the doorway. Her white hair cut simply above her shoulders as she peaked into the room with timid blue eyes. She seemed somewhat small and her features suggested she was still in her early teens. Letting herself in at that moment, she closed the door and swept some of the snow from her boots. The door then flew open, hitting the inside wall as a young man stood in the doorway.
"There you are Eirwyn! Why in the world did you leave without saying anything?"
He called to the young woman, leaving you without a clue at exactly what was going on.
"Oh... Well there was something I wanted to do alone, but I forgot and stumble here."
Who forgets what they're going to do? Especially in this cold? At least that's what you were thinking as you watched the two strangers hold a small conversation, the door still wide open and letting cold in.
It seems it was a young man who had let himself into your school. His hair was white, just like the other villagers' and it was slightly messy, if not a bit long for a male. He appeared small though, which made him seem even younger than he really was.
"Sorry I let myself in. It's cold out there."
He said, turning around quickly to close the door so the cold wouldn't let itself in too. You opened your mouth to say something to him, when suddenly someone else came barging into the school. A young woman with similar features to the young man who had almost gotten hit with the door.
"There you are!"
She called out to him relieved.
"I was wondering where you went off to without telling me."
The young man chuckled a bit, seemingly amused by the woman's worry.
"Oh. I went out for a walk. I was originally going to do something, but I was so deep in thought I forgot and stumbled in here."
Stumbled, he more like let himself in, at least that's what you thought to yourself as you watched to two go back and forth for a few moments. And the door was still open. You silently hoped that one of them would notice and close it before it got too cold again.
Two people had let themselves into your school. Both talking to each other. They looked very similar in height and facial features, at least by what you could tell since they still had their fur lined hoods on. They continued talking to each other, as if they had just walked into their own home... That didn't bother you. What bothered you was the still open door!
