Would You Be My Little Butterfly? Six (Sasuke Uchiha)

I walked out of the building with nothing on my mind. I felt numb. I had spent the entire time in the academy promising to myself that I wouldn't fall for anyone like him. I promised that I would be an individual. I would hold my heart for someone caring and sweet. Now here I was falling for him just like everyone else. I felt sick. I walked through town just wandering. I finally ended up at the bridge. I sat down on the edge of the bridge and looked out to the other side. It was pretty close. I looked up at the sky and thought
Now what do I do? I'm just like everyone else now
No you're not! Just because you love Sasuke doesn't mean you've turned into a prep clone!

No harm in that! with that in mind I stood up and walked back to the house. I grabbed an apple and looked at Kakashi "I'm taking guard duty today" he looked up "Fine by me. Ask Tazuna" I turned to the old man who was just putting on his hard hat. He grinned and said "Sure thing! I'd feel safer with her than the brat anyways!" Naruto yelled "HEEEY!!" I laughed and kissed him on the head "Bye brat!" and I ran off after Tazuna. I could hear Naruto screaming and ranting. Tazuna was laughing. We reached the bridge to see many people already there. I watched as they worked for a few hours when Tazuna yelled at someone that they were short on help. I stood and began carrying lumber to and fro. I helped with alot of things. I looked up to see Tazuna looking around wildly. Probably wondering where the hell I went. I stood and said "Some thing wrong Mr. Tazuna?" he whirled around and saw what I was working on. He grinned and said "I was wondering why things were going so fast! You wanna help?" so for the next few hours I spent my time helping with the construction. When we were finished we went back to the house for dinner. Everything was going pretty smoothly. We got there and I looked around "Where's Naruto?" but what I was thinking was Where's Sasuke?! Kakashi sighed and said "He and Sasuke stayed late practicing" "Oh" I took a seat across from him at the table. After dinner neither of them had been seen. I picked up their plates when no one was looking and walked to the clearing we were at the day before. There they were both exhausted. They looked up when I came into the clearing. Naruto tilted his head and Sasuke blushed and looked away. Naruto called out "Hey sis! Whacha doin here?" "Well since you idiots decided to skip dinner I thought I'd bring you some food so you don't starve to death!" I put his plate in front of him. He began eating ravenously. I walked over to Sasuke who was about five yards away. I kneeled down and put his plate down. When I went to stand up again he reached out and grabbed my wrist. I looked up and met his eyes. He looked into mine and said "Stay. Please" I blushed and said "Fine" I stood and walked in the middle of them. I took a seat and watched the two of them eat. Naruto was scarfing his food down while Sasuke was slowly nibbling at his. I sweatdropped and thought My brother and my crush are exact opposites. Geez what would happen if I told Naruto I was in love with Sasuke? The image of Naruto chasing Sasuke with a torch in his hand popped into my head. I chuckled nervously and said "That would be bad" Naruto said "What would be bad?!" I looked to see them both staring at me. I chuckled and said "Nothing. Nothing just finish eating you two" they went back to their meals. I looked at Sasuke to see him looking at me smirking. I turned away and looked at Naruto who was glaring at Sauke. I sighed and stood up. I walked over to Naruto and said "We need to talk" he looked at me with a look on his face like 'Oh god' and stood up. I walked a good distance away with him trailing after me. Once I was sure that no one could hear us I turned to him and said "Ok Naruto I need to know something and then I need to tell you something" he narrowed his eyes and said "Ok what?" I took a deep breath and said "What...would you say if.....I told you I was dating Sasuke?" "OH HELL NO YOU WHAT?!?!?!" I winced and said "I see. Well that's not what I was going to tell you but I think I may love Sasuke. I need you to support me in this because I need help getting over this!" he looked at me and said "Naomi...I-" but he was cut off by an explosion from nearby. I whirled to see it had come from... "THE HOUSE!" I broke into a run through the forest. This was bad. I growled "Zabuza!" and reached the place. Everyone was standing looking at two people. I looked to see Kakashi and Zabuza. Zabuza yelled "WHERE IS SHE?!" "Who?" "THAT LITTLE BITCH!" "Naomi" I sweatdropped but stood in the shadows. Kakashi sighed and said "I wouldn't tell you if I knew" "THEN YOU'LL DIE!" he leaped at Kakashi swinging his sword. Blood spilled out in the air as it hit...my arm. I had blocked the sword at the last minute. He laughed and said "I knew you'd come!" "Why are you after me?" "Simple dear! I need your power!" "Go away or die" "How about not!" he swings the sword at me again. I flip out of the way when I heard "Is he stalking my sister?!" I looked to see Naruto and...Sasuke! Damn! I looked back at Zabuza. He turned to look. I punched him while his head was turned. I spun around kicking him in the head. I jumped up and kicked him again in the face. This time he grabbed my foot and spun me around. He threw me to the pile of rubbled where the house used to be. I tried to get up but he had already gotten to Sasuke. He held him up by the throat. I froze in place. He grinned and said "Now be a good little girl and put down the kunai" I just stood there. He looked angry and said "I SAID PUT DOWN THE KUNAI OR YOUR LITTLE BOYFRINED DIES!" but I was gone. He looked around wildly then back at Sasuke and said "Looky looky. Your little girlfriend ran off. Looks like I can kill you now!DI- ACK!" He looked down to see my hand through his stomach. I had disappeared so he wouldn't see me run up and thrust my hand in his stomach. He let go of Sasuke and swung his sword around. I couldn't move fast enough and he sliced me right across the chest. Then he fell fdead. I fell to my knees. Suddenly I felt a pair of warm arms wrap around my quickly cooling body. I looked up to see Sasuke looking down with a worried look on his face. I grinned and whispered "I guess this...is what...I get for being a pathetic...little girl...huh?" he looked down at me with such care and compassion in his eyes that I could help but feel something inside me stirring. He sighed and whispered "You're not pathetic. Annoying maybe. Reckless definately. But not pathetic" I smiled and everything went black. The last thing I heard was Sasuke yell "NAOMI!"
I'm not really sure about it but...I think I may be growing up....

*~One Month Later~*
Sasuke's POV
Naomi had been in a coma for a month and hadn't shown any sign of waking up. The final leg of the chuunin exams were coming up. I knew she'd be mad if she woke up and hadn't had a chance to participate but it couldn't be helped. I leaned down and kissed her forehead and whispered "Please wake up soon" with that I turned to walk out. I had left another red rose on her bedside table. I left another one everyday. I just hoped she would wake up. I sighed and walked out of the hospital. As I was walking I saw Naruto. He hadn't said a word to me since the incident. I think it had something to do with what she had told him just before the fight. He usually just shot me glares and passed me by. Today though he looked at me with teary eyes and said "She still hasn't woken up has she?" "No. I don't think she will anytime soon" "I see. I-I want to tell you what she said to me...She said that she was in love with you and she wanted my help to work through it" I looked at him with wide eyes.

She-she did love me...
She does love you!
But she's-
In a coma. Which means she might wake up any day! And when she does she'll still love you!
Or hate me for putting her in one in the first place!
Oh come on! You and I both know she's not like that!
True.... I let it go and looked at Naruto and said "If- when she wakes up I want to know that I'll have your blessings as her brother" "You know you will" "Good" he nodded and walked on to the hospital. I walked off home.
BACK TO ME
Lavender... I opened my eyes to see incense smoke wafting through the air. I shot up in bed and looked around. I was in a hospital bed. I looked over at the table beside my bed. There was a single red rose sitting there on the table. I picked it up and looked it over and whispered "Sasuke" I went to get out of bed when a female voice said "You're not going anywhere" I looked up to see Sakura. Her hair was shorter and she had a darker look about her. I shivered and said "Wh-what?" she grinned menacingly and said "Oh you're going right back into your coma! While you've been gone Sasuke and I have been getting even closer and I can't afford to have you mess that up for me" I stood up and narrowed my eyes "And who's going to keep me here? You're sure as hell not!" she scowled and said "Who says?" she leaped at me with full intention to punch me. She landed it. It just turned my head. I reached up and said "Big...mistake bitch" I rared back and punched her through the wall. I ran after her and kicked her in the stomach. I kicked her up and punched her in the face. She flew through three more walls. I ran back into my room and put on some fresh clothes. I grabbed my weapons and ran out the window. I ran to a small creek and looked down. My hair was longer and I was taller. I reached up and grabbed my hair by the end. I pulled a kunai up to it and cut it off to just below my chin. I tied it up in a ponytail and sighed. I was changinng but one thing was still there. A burning in my soul. A burning desire. I stood up and looked into the sky "Sasuke..." and with that I disappeared into a new life. One where I would find someone else. Before I left completely I found him. I walked into his house in the middle of the night. There he was asleep in bed. I leaned down and kissed him on the lips. I held the kiss long onough for him to remember the taste. He muttered in his sleep "N-naomi..." I sighed and whispered "Goodbye Sasuke. I love you..." And I disappeared. I turned my back on everything I had ever known. Everyone I had ever loved. Everything I had ever believed to be true.
