Yuuhi had put me to sleep, and I could only think in despair in my own subconscious. My dream, or what I saw, was my own self sitting in a completely black area, face in my hands. Only, it was me I was seeing. I was there, as myself, almost as if I was awake. This was one heck of a spell, not to mention real puzzling... I had lost. I had been caught. Never again would I go searching for my precious Engi-kun. My parents security of me would now be so top-notch, the bathroom would be my only private time. I lifted my face up and saw small signs of sadness written all over. "I failed, huh? Engi-kun's location will never be known now.." "I thought that this time would be the one.
That I could finally be happy, and show Engi-kun how much I'd changed. But I guess not." My subconscious seemed to talk to itself. Or at least, it to me. I wasn't the one speaking. "I guess the largest factor is...what will happen when I get home? My parents...how will I face them now? I hadn't originally planned on a large reunion, I just planned to see Engi-kun and life would be perfect." The other me took the beads and long hair in her hands, and began to undo them all. Eventually, hair that reached her shoulders fell gracefully down her back. She brought her fingers to Engi-kun's ears. "And these...would they make me take those off too? They know how much they mean to me..." Suddenly, her sad eyes looked into my view. She stared at my direction for a small amount of seconds, before standing up and beginning to walk away. "Maybe I'll find Engi-kun some other day..." With her final step echoing throughout this entire space, almost like the sound of a water droplet, the feeling of sleep jumped out of me, and I was awake.

I kept my eyes shut tightly. Had Yuuhi once again removed her trance? Had I been roughly moved? Had my mind's doubt of finding Engi-kun woken me? I peeped open my eyes a tad, and light flooded my vision. I took a few minutes squinting and trying to adjust to the light, and once I had the hang of it, shot open my eyes. Three from before were in front of me, the backs of Yuuhi, the Hyuuga girl, and the other person... Aburame something or other. I started to panic, where was the other one? Had he gone to alert my parents already? That would mean no hope, I really would be done for! I suddenly regained the feeling of my body, and realized I was being carried. My eyes widened as the boy that was missing was carrying me on his back, and my head was on his shoulder. My extra weight was causing him to fall behind.
"Hey! Why do I have to carry this pain anyway!?" He shouted with a grumpy face, and I put on a sleeping face that very second. I didn't know if anyone turned around, but I did hear Yuuhi's reply, "Kiba, I have to focus all my energy on keeping her asleep." I scoffed in my head. Yeah, right. "What about Hinata then? Or Shino!" He obviously hated doing anything that involved me. No body else replied, and I got the feeling they just shook their head. I instantly thought about jumping off of this guy and making a huge break for it, but then I remembered my past three attempts at trying that. Plus, I couldn't shake the sleepy exhaustion that was making really, really tired. I guess I have to come up with something else... I kept my voice at a whisper, making sure the other three wouldn't hear me, "Let me go.." It came out very weakly.
"Ah," He looked at me, only to be confronted by my angry and tired face, "Your up. So Kurenai-sensei lied..." "No, her spell thing...it's still active...I'm just very strong.." I smirked at him. He scoffed, "Sure. It's not a spell, moron, it's a jutsu." "Jut...su?" I replied, making sure that it sounded like a question. Jutsu? What in the world is that?! "You don't know what I jutsu is? You really are stupid." He laughed a bit at this, "It's making your inner chakra to perform battling abilities." "Chakra...?" I repeated the question emphasis. He sighed, "It's too much to explain. Ask it when we bring you home." "Can I say this again? I really need to stay out here. I'll do anything, if you just let me go..." "What, finding your boyfriend? That's not a good enough reason to run away."
I let a small breath out in shock. How did he know that?! How the hell did he know that?! His mission-thing?! The people who sent him after me told him that then?! No..that's not possible. How would they know? My parents! They're the only people that would tell! They had revealed my deepest secrets to some strangers! My brain was steaming in anger, they had betrayed me, their daughter! Sure, I had run away from them, but they had no right telling them that! I didn't speak for a bit, and he decided to pester me first, "What? Strike a raw nerve? Sorry." It wasn't apologetic, but it wasn't happy either. I sighed, and changed the subject, my body feeling the tire again. "Why did you even choose me to hunt for if your this pissed off about it?" I looked the opposite direction sulkily, feeling even more sad than before. "I didn't. The women of our group couldn't resist this precious, sappy mission of yours." I pouted my bottom lip and closed my eyes, "Why are you such an ass?"
He didn't answer. I had a feeling he either smirked or frowned. Neither of us whispered for a bit, but I was starting to enjoy weighing him down all the time. I was proud to be heavy for him. "We just have to bring you back, then we can get away from you. No sweat." I looked up at him with a small strength in my neck. "Fine. I'll escape before you can get me meters of my house." He scoffed. A bit too loudly. "Kiba? What are you sneezing about back there?" I slammed my eyes together, expecting him to rat me out on the spot, "Akamaru's sleeping already."
No other talking came to my hearing, so I slowly opened my eyes. "'Thought you hated me?" He sighed burden-like, but had a bit of red on his face, "Why cause more and more time to be lost?" I raised an eyebrow, and tried to wiggle around out of his grasp. "Kurenai-sensei! How's that jutsu going? I hear her mumbling." I gasped and took my normal sleeping pose, only for my brain to go blank once again.

She was asleep again. Finally! I turned my head to her drifted off face, a small look of peace on her face. I opened my eyes larger, and whipped my neck around in embarrassment. "Hey! Someone else carry her!" Kurenai-sensei sighed, stopped walking, and pulled Hitori off of me and carried her on her back. "Kiba, I swear, you complain on everything except training or fooling around." I crossed my arms and smirked, "Got that right!" I shifted a bit, Hitori's weight had made a press on my back. I looked at her one last time, only to see her hair and a small tip of her ears. The ears somehow angered me, so I shoved my hands in my jacket and walked friskily.
I just have to get her home. Nothing else. We were at her home in no time. The gates of the large estate opened eagerly to us, and I passed frequent glaces to Kurenai-sensei's back, expecting Hitori to jump at any moment and run again. She never did. She just slept, and it seemed pathetic. I scoffed again, and we were soon at the Matsudai door from a few days earlier. The door was swished open before any of us had a chance to raise our arms to the door.
"Hitori!" Hitori's mother flung out of the doorway, tears flooding her eyes, and ran behind Kurenai-sensei's back. She pulled Hitori's limp self into her arms and squeezed her into her chest and fell to her knees, all of which we just stared at her. "Hitori!" She cried while stroking her hair, "I was so worried! Why would you do that to me!?" She seemed disappointed to receive no reply and looked up, wiping her tears away. "My apologies; I couldn't control myself." None of us gave an answer. She, being a bit frail, struggled to pick up Hitori off of the ground. Once she did, her arms became limp and she quickly scampered into the house, the rest of us behind her. We removed our shoes at the front, and once we had finished, she turned the corner.
"Please, let me offer you something." I really wanted to get out of there, yet Kurenai-sensei humbly took the offer. We sat at the same table, same seats, except Hitori was now sleeping in a very uncomfortable position on a small sofa in the front. I stared at her, frowning at how weird she looked. The peaceful sleep combined with her position was creepy. I shrugged, looking the other direction. The mother, who refreshed my memory by telling her name once again, poured us all tea, thanked us, and shifted us out. I sighed deeply while we made our way through the large Matsudai estate. "I guess she's home now, huh..." Hinata twiddled her fingers, red in the face. Why was she blushing?
I threw my arms behind my head, "Don't worry too much about it. We finished our mission, that's points for us." Hinata seemed to sigh, but horribly failed at it when a large screech echoed through my ears. Akamaru awoke with a large squeal at the sound, all of us stopping in our path. My eyes widened at the sound, as if Naruto didn't get his ramen, or Ino gained a pound. "Don't leave me!!" I bet Engi would have run to her.
I'm sure he would have.

The Matsudai family, still unbarebly greatful to us for completing a regular mission, invited us to they're home for Hitori's returning-home festival. Kurenai-sensei stated something like "The Fifth has requested my attendance." What she said was, "Hell no! This mission is over, and I could care less!" But of course, nothing like that could curse precious Kurenai-sama's lips. She didn't go. Maybe I'm being a bit too harsh.
Still, me, Hinata, and Shino we're forced to go. We arrived back at the opening gates for the third time, and I could hear billions of sparklers and shouting going on. Sounded more like a tournament, much less a party. The overly-big doors slowly opened, causing rivers of random strangers to pour in. Hinata nearly tripped taking a step, but caught herself with her hands. "You okay?" She breathed out a long and shaky breath, "I g-guess so. I really don't want to go in here..." Shino said nothing, as normal. We all three stepped in, flower blossoms constantly hitting me in the face. I threw my hands over my face and shoved them all off. As my hands traveled downward, all the flowers seemed to blow away. Just in time for her arrival.

The kimono looked...heavy. Everyone swooned over her beauty, and once she noticed our presence, she turned around. Her ears were gone, and her eyes dead. All that because she lost her boyfriend. Sheesh. Random people seemed to walk up to her just to touch her shoulder. Then walk away and crash the festival. I shrugged, made my way to the food, and left Shino and Hinata to do what they wanted. Akamaru kindly ate anything he could manage, before I stopped him and placed him on my head, a large smirk on my face. Maybe this wasn't so bad; free food! "Having fun?" I spun around, my eyes wider than my mouth. "Hitori!"

Her eyes were even deader than when I first saw her. She frowned at me, and bowed once I turned around. "My thanks for bringing me back. I was in a phase of insanity." I let my arms down, and calmed, "That's what they've got you saying?" She leaned back up, shook her head no, and said, "Yes." I scratched my head, avoiding Akamaru's body. "Um...what?" Not even a titter came from her. She looked like that Sasuke guy. Scary... "Yes, that is my line here," She shook her head in a no motion, "You were correct." She took a small cup off of the table, crushed it with her hands, and let it drop to the grass, kicking it under the table.
The same expressionless face all the way; I wasn't sure if she was pissed, or just empty feeling. "Oh." She ignored me further, and sat down in a chair next to the table. "I really thought-" She mumbled the rest, so even I couldn't hear it. "What's it like, being a ninja? Forcing stupid missions on yourself, training day by day?" She looked up at me, still no sign of the normal spark she usually had. I mean, from what I saw. Not like I paid full attention to her! "Awesome! You have people eating at your paws, and the entire world is just the beginning!" I pointed a thumb to show my enthusiasm.
She instantly stood up, threw her hand on the table. The food vibrated in her hand's force, and she put her face in mine, "You can go anywhere you want?" I cringed a bit, but didn't get any further away from her face. "I guess so." She looked down, then back at me. She glared at me, specifically at my eyes. She edged towards my face, and I felt my entire head ice up. "What?!"
My shoulders rose up, as her lipsface was inches away from mine. She breathed in grumpily, closed her eyes, and opened them with her old spark. Her face remained identical to Sasuke's, though. "Thanks."
