Davey Havok oneshot-He bit my lip and drained my war from years before
Davey and Rina had a lot in common. Both were interested in World War II, both had a darker view of life, both had a general disgust for humanity, and both had interned at the local museum for the summer. Most importantly however, they both loved each other, in spite of bad relationships in the past. Unfortunately they both were unwilling to confess their love for the other, and so each remained oblivious to the other's feelings. They were friends, best friends at that, and neither wanted to ruin that with a romance that could have the possibility of ending in heartache and broken friendship. And so they remained two teens in love but neither willing to admit it to the other. Surprisingly things were never awkward between them either. As far as they were concerned friendship was all that was in store for them. But oh how wrong they were....
Rina worked on the section about the concentration camps. Davey worked on the section about the Axis: the three leaders dictators that had banned together to affect mankind forever. Neither were pleasant topics to surround yourself with day in day out, but neither of the teens minded. It was a job where they stayed close together and it appealed to their interests.

Rina loved when Davey would come over and talk with her. She knew a great deal about the concentraion camps from the 40s, especially the Japanese ones.
I met my love before I was born
Davey loved to learn about them, or so he said, but in reality he just wanted an excuse to hear her talk(which she didn't do often enough). Rina was always so full of passion about everything she cared about, he was amazed that she never dated. Finally one day he got the courage to ask her about it.
"Hey Rina," he asked as she dusted off a display case, "how come I never hear you talk about your love life?"
Rina laughed bitterly. "Probably because I don't have one," she said emotionlessly.
Davey's eyebrows shot up. "Why on earth not?" he asked. "I would have figured a beautiful girl like you would have to beat off the guys with a stick. You have a pretty smile, a great personality, a passion for everything you do..."
"And a past," sighed Rina. "Guys don't like a girl with any emotional baggage. Once you've had your heart broken it's very hard to find a guy that is willing to put it back together."
He wanted love
I taste of blood
"I'm sorry you had to go through that," Davey said softly. "The monster that destroyed your heart obviously didn't know what art he was defacing."
Rina blushed. Davey loved it. "Thanks Davey," she said. "It helps to talk about it."

" Anytime Rina," Davey said. "I have to go now. My shift ends in 5 minutes." Rina gave Davey a hug as a farewell. Davey tried not to make it too obvious as he drank in the smell of her vanilla shampoo. The one drug he allowed himself to indulge in. He had dreamed of being this close to her, though he had tried not to. Just when he was starting to forget about them, she fulfilled his dreams. It was all he could do not to wrap her in his arms for all eternity and never let go. He slowly released her from the returned hug.

"So," asked Rina. "You have any special plans for this evening?"
"Not really," said Davey. "Robyn and I plan to watch a movie together at my house, that's about it."
Rina tried unsuccessfully to hide a frown. She didn't think that Robyn was good enough for Davey. She was a blonde whore, not even good looking and yet Davey thought the world of her. Rina was fairly sure Robyn was cheating on Davey, but she had yet to be able to prove it.
"Well then," said Rina through clenched teeth and a fake smile. "Have fun then."
Davey nodded while shrugging on his coat. The truth was he didn't even like Robyn, he was just using her to make Rina jealous. He had a vague suspicion that Rina liked him, but he wanted her to say so herself. He thought that maybe if he dated someone she would finally crack and confess her love for him. No luck so far.
Davey came home to his parents' apartment. They were away for a class reunion and as a result Davey had the house all to himself for a couple days. Robyn had wanted to use this to their advantage but Davey was straight edge and refused to. Plus, he had this little thing called morals, something seemingly unheard of in Robyn's limited vocabulary.
Nevertheless, Robyn had been bunking at Davey's since the exeutant of the parentals. Davey planned to use this to get Rina to crack, but again no luck. He was beginning to think of just telling her how he felt.
Davey unlocked the door. "You here Robyn?" he asked. "Hello, anybody here?" No one answered. Davey shrugged his shoulders and went into the bathroom to wash off his makeup.
Davey was met with a grave surprise as he entered the small bathroom. The mirror was covered in pictures of Robyn and another man in very sleazy positions. The man was tanned, blonde and tattoo free. The exact opposite of Davey, as had been cruelly pointed out. Across one of the pictures was penned "a real man". In the center of the shrine to infedelity (which was cruelly shaped like a heart) were two words written in blood red lipstick. "Por Siempre." Robyn had even been as sadistic as to kiss the mirror in the same shade. A goodbye in the most final form.

"por siembre"
Davey sank to the bathroom floor in tears. It was true that he never really loved Robyn, but to be left and tossed aside so carelessly was a stab to his very soul. After he had composed himself he looked at the mirror. He ripped down all the shots of cruelty and spat on the venom traces of his former lover. Davey slowly found it within himself to look at his reflection. His mascara was running in lines down his face and his normally pale skin was now red and blotchy from crying. He wiped off the ruined makeup and forced a smile. When his face had returned to its normal shade he knew what to do, where to go. To the one place, the one girl who could everything better. Rina.
Davey trudged back to the museum. It was all he could do not sprint. Robyn's final act of malice had put everything in preportion for young Davey Marchand. It was now or never.
Rina could heard Davey's footsteps before he reached her. She turned around to find a strange expression riddled across his perfectly bone structured features. "Davey, what's wrong?" she asked. "Are you okay? You don't look like yourself..."
Rina was cut off by Davey's lips melting onto her own. She was shocked.
"Davey what happened," she asked but he cut her off again.
"I'm so sorry," he said between kisses. "I should have told you forever ago. Rina I've loved you ever since I first met you. I've know from the beginning that there isn't anyone in the world I would rather be with. We were made for each other, it is in our very souls." Davey kissed her again, and this time, she kissed him back.
She said "it seems you're somewhere far away" to his face

"What about Robyn?" asked Rina.
"She left me," said Davey. "She had been complaining that I was too deep for her and when I got home," this time it was Davey who was cut off by a pair of lips connecting to his own.
"None of that matters now," said Rina, "Davey Marchand I love you and always have. I love every bit of you, the deepness, the heartache, every little thing about you." Rina kissed Davey again and suddenly all the bad things that had kept them apart disappeared. All the heartache, the past betrayal, it all vanished.
she bit my lip and drained my war from years beforeEverything that had ever hurt them melted away in their love for each other. Melted and disappeared like snowflakes on the hands of two lovers skating. Finally, all that was gone, and all that remained was all that was needed:
love like winter
