My first day on warped tour, and I can already tell that I am going to get into some kind of trouble during my time here.
All I'm surrounded by are cute boys with tight pants and with their shirts off. I walk by all the buses with my eyes straight ahead making sure I don't make any contact with any of these boys because I know if I do I'll turn into mush. I notice a few taking second glances at me as I walk by.
All I want is to find my merch tent. As much as I love all these cute guys, I can't be getting distracted. I walk away from the bus parking lot and into a fenced area. I flashed my pass at the security guard and began my trek into the massive area of tents. I pass by Chiodos, Paramore, New Found Glory, and Cute Is What We Aim For's tents before I get to ours. It wasnt that hard to pick out with its bright teal blue color and our name "unadmirable plans" written across it in big black squiggly letters. Our t-shirts hanging for all to see, stickers, buttons, and our new album hanging on display. I walked behind the table and pulled up a chair next to our good friend and merch boy Crispy.
"Sup bitch?"
"Sup slut?" I retorted back.
"Nothing really, you know same shit, different day?"
I nodded.
"Yep, but were on warped tourit can't get much better than that can it?"
"No it can't...so are you planning on hooking up with any of these fine boys I see eyeing you?"
"Are you assuming that I'm going to hook up with someone here?"
"Cayden, I know you all to well, once you get a couple drinks in you, you'll go off with the first cute guy that walks your way."
"That is so not true." I said trying desperately to defend myself.
"Whatever you say Cayden..."
Why is it that everybody I'm close to thinks I'm a slut? I can't help it if I'm a flirt, it just happens. It's almost like I can't control it, like it's on autopilot. But that doesn't make me a slut; I don't go around dropping my pants for every gorgeous boy that walks by.
I narrowed my eyes at the tall tanned skinny boy. I stood up and made my way away from inside the tent.
"I have to go, their letting people in, and I have to find out when our set time is." I told him as I walked away from the tent. He nodded, saying some thing incoherent and waved. I strolled pass a few more tents looking for someone I might know. Kids of all shapes and sizes began flooding the area, a few of them looking out of place but happy to be here none the less, and parents who looked like they could be doing something useful instead of taking their kids to some lame "punk" festival. I pushed my way threw hustle and bustle of the people and made my way to the time board.
Kids were already lined up to see who was playing at what time and where. I got closer and searched for my bands name. I followed row by row until my eyes caught unadmirable plans; 1:30 pm Smart Punk stage. I looked to my sidekick for the time; 10:48. I slipped my sidekick into my back pocket and slipped pass the growing amount of kids.

I stood back stage with the rest of my band mates waiting. Mayday Parade was on their last song, and we were up next. I watched as Derek Sanders finished the last words of Three Cheers for Five Years. He smiled brightly and thanked the crowd. He dropped the microphone and walked off stage with the rest of Mayday. He smiled and wished me good luck and walked past me. Mayday's crew quickly cleared the stage of any of their instruments, and ours were quickly put in its place. I was handed my guitar, and listened as our intro began to kick in. I watched as the rest of my band mates and best friends ran on to stage to greet all the screaming kids.
Adam began playing the opening cord's for Umbrella's and Kites. The song began building up and I ran out there and joined in. I played my chords and began singing. I watched below me as the kids mouthed words. I smirked to myself. I stopped singing, letting the crowd take the chorus. I mouthed the words with them and jumped away from the microphone and joined in the synchronized head banging with the rest of the band.
We did a total of 7 songs. The crowd was amazing. We walked off the stage, I was feeling completely alive. Tristan threw me a water bottle, and I sat down behind the amp.
"Wow that was amazing." I beamed.
"You worked it out there." Adam began explaining to me.
Soon enough we were all talking about the highlights of out set. I decided that I was hungry and that I wanted to catch Paramore's set. I parted my way with the guys and walked off the smart punk stage and into the crowded area. I didn't get too far because I was stopped by a few kids who asked if they could get a picture and sign a body part. I gladly took a few pictures and signed a guy's stomach. I walked back to the bus without any interruptions. I entered to bus, which was a disaster already, and went towards the mini fridge. I went ahead and grabbed my leftovers from this morning, a veggie and tofu wrap. I quickly ate it, not wanting to miss Paramore's set. I cleaned up everything and walked out of the bus, making sure the door was locked. I looked to my sidekick to check the time; 2:40. Paramore's set was
slated to start at 2:45. I had five minuets. I slipped my sidekick into my back pocket and began running towards main stage. I carefully ran, slipping and slightly pushing to get threw. I made it to the back stage area, flashing my pass at the security guard and went threw. I walked the rest of the way, up to the side of the stage just as Paramore were taking the stage.

I watched as Hayley's bright red hair went everywhere as they began playing misery business. I bobbed my head to the music and quietly sang the words along with Hayley. I noticed someone had come up next to me. I looked over and saw Martin Johnson from Boys like Girls humming the words along with me. He peered over and flashed his million dollar grin that would make any girls knees weak, including mine.

"Hey Cayden"

It was my turn to flash my million dollar smile.

"Hey Martin, what's up?" I lightly touched his arm.

He looked down at his arm where my hand was now placed and grinned wider.

"Nothing much, I caught the ending of your set earlier and I must say,
you did amazing out there."

I smiled suggestively and looked away, as if embarrassed.

"Thanks so much. I had a blast out there today; I wish I could have caught your set."

"No problem, it's only the first day of warped, so you'll have plenty of time to come see me."

I nodded, captivated by his beautiful smile.

"Definitely."

"Oh Cayden, I almost forgot to tell you, there's going to be a party tonight by our bus. You guys are invited."

I perked up. Parties are one of my favorite things about touring.

Free beer and pretty boys to look at.

"You know the way to my heart, we'll definitely be there."

"I have to go, I have a signing to do, but I look forward to seeing you
tonight."

He winked at me and began sauntering away in those infamous tight jeans.
You couldn't wipe the smile off my face.

God damnit, I am going to get into so much trouble this year.
