The ride to the airport was silent and uncomfortable. It was, of course, the day that Jenn S. had to return to America. I think all three of us were thinking about the same thing. I, of course, had loved ones in my past die, but Lauren was my first close friend who died. I think that moment was a turning point in my life in the way that I perceived things. I had always known that I had my friends to depend on, but what about when they die too? Death doesn't care who you are, what you did, how old you are, or how things are going in your life at that moment. At any moment it can come to kidnap you or rescue you, whatever the case may be. Raine had to overcome many things in her life. Things that no one of her age or her intellect should have had to overcome. She was a strong person and I think we had all thought she was stronger than what she showed when she killed herself. I sighed and laid my head against the cold glass that was the window of the car and stared outside into the snow. I allowed the coldness of the glass wash through me before Dan placed his warm hand on mine comfortingly. I looked over at him as he stared out at the wet road and knew that I had fallen in love again. He looked back at me and gave me a sympathetic smile and lifted my hand to his lips and kissed it. I smiled back and looked back at Jenn who had a serious expression on her face as she texted someone, no doubt Tom, until she looked back into my eyes and smiled. I smiled back to let her know that all was forgiven then I turned back to stare outside as I noticed that the snow was getting harder.
"Um," I said tentatively, "It's snowing a lot."
"Really Marissa," said Jenn, "I thought it was a bright, sunny day."
"Now is not the time Jenn," I said, "Dan, are you sure you're okay driving in this?"
"Are you kidding?" said Dan, "I'm the best."
We heard a deep honking horn as Marissa and I screamed and were blinded by two bright headlights as Dan swerved to avoid a trucker carrying logs. The next thing we knew the car was flying off the road into the back of a Mercedes that had pulled over. Jenn and I sat paralyzed in fear as Dan slammed his fists on the steering wheel before turning the car off and taking his seat belt off. He tried to open his door but it wouldn't open. He kept shoving and hitting it, but it wouldn't budge.
"Bloody hell!" yelled Dan, "The door won't open!"
"Well," I said trying not to laugh, "It would kind of help if-" I leaned over him and unlocked the door, "Unlocking it kind of helps."
Dan glared at me before opening the door and stepping out. Jenn and I followed suit as the door of the Mercedes opened.
Jenn and I opened our doors and stepped out into the blizzard with Dan who had stopped dead in his tracks at the sight of the person that had stepped out of the Mercedes which had nothing major except for major scratches on the back bumper, our car had nothing.
"I am so sorry I-" she started then she looked up, "Dan?"
"Emma?" said Dan.
"Emma?" said Jenn.
"Emma?" I said.
"Marissa?" said Emma looking at me with her anorexic eyes. What surprised me the most was the fact that she didn't look at me with anger anymore, but with fear.
"Wow," I said sarcastically, "What a small fucking world this is!"
"It's England, love," said Dan.
"True," I said not really amused.
"I guess I'll be staying here another day," muttered Jenn throwing her hands in the air, "my flight is in an hour."
"You're leaving?" Emma asked, averting her eyes to Jenn.
"Well I WAS," said Jenn, "but thanks to Dan thinking that he could handle this weather, we crashed into you, so that's not going to happen."
"Shut up!" said Dan half-seriously.
"Well, go ahead so you don't miss your flight," said Emma.
"Wait what?" I said double-taking, "Emma Watson, actually being NICE? Am I in the twilight zone?" Emma threw me a dirty look, "THERE we go! That's the norm!"
"I CAN actually be nice you know!" she snapped, "I am not that much of a she-devil!"
"Whatever, Emma Anorexia," I muttered.
"Whatever Marissa," said Emma rolling her eyes and getting back into her car, "Dan, can I talk to you for a minute?" She asked before shutting her door
"Yeah sure," said Dan going around and opening the passenger side door.
"Hurry up Dan!" said Jenn, "It's freezing out here!"
"Really Jenn," snapped Dan as got in, "I thought that it was a warm summer's day!"
Jenn laughed hysterically as Dan shut the door behind him, What do you think she wants?
I dunno, I said suspiciously as I got my cell phone out and saw that I had a text message from Chris.
Sup?
Stranded on the side of the road.
What happened?
Dan thought he could drive in snow.
By that time Dan had returned, a complex look on his face. Is everything okay? I asked, putting my cell phone away.
Yeah, said Dan unconvincingly, She just wanted to get insurance information.
Oh, I said unconvinced.
Lets get you to the airport, Jenn, he said as he got in.
Jenn and I exchanged looks as we both got back in the car and went on our way. We were back on the road for maybe five minutes before I got a text from Jenn.
Hes hiding something...
I looked back at her as she raised her eyebrows in a tell me if Im wrong look that I knew all too well before she turned her attention back out the window. I looked over at Dan who focused his full attention on the road in front of him, not even looking back at me. I wondered if Jenn was wrong, but Dans attention seemed a little too focused.

No fun answers...
We arrived at the airport literally at the last possible moment. We made it through baggage and security and all the way to the gate just as first class was boarding. Jenn set her bags down and turned around and hugged me.
Good luck Marissa, said Jenn, Ill call you when I get home okay?
Alright, I said with tears in my eyes as I hugged her back, I love you sweetie,
Ill miss you, said Jenn fighting tears back herself before letting go, Come visit us again soon okay?
I will, I said as she turned to Dan.
Later, she said emotionlessly, Thanks for letting us bunk with you.
Bye Jenn, said Dan, It was nice meeting you.
Yeah, she said as she looked back towards me.
Flight 2397 to Atlanta Georgia USA is now boarding cabin passengers.
Bye Marissa, said Jenn before turning towards the gate.
Bye, I whispered. Dan put his arm around my shoulders as I wiped the tears away and watched as the one friend who had always stuck by me through thick and thin walked through the gate.

Rupert looked at the picture of himself and Raine with tears in his eyes as he fondly remembered the great times with her. He had taken her off of the streets and gave her all of him so that she didnt have to die before her time, but it seemed as if it was all for nothing. He stood up and looked out the window at the congested streets below and began to wonder what it would be like to walk in the middle of the London street and let one of the double decker buses hit him. Would it hurt to die? Would he even die or just be severely hurt? His cell phone rang on his night stand, breaking him from his thoughts. Rupert sighed and turned to pick up his phone and answered it.
Hello? He said tonelessly.
...
Hello? He said impatiently.
Hi, said a quiet female voice.
Who is this? He asked.
Its Oceane, said the voice, the... Stripper.
Oh, he breathed, Um, hi.
Hi, she said awkwardly.
Why are you calling? Rupert asked as he let himself fall back onto his bed.
Well, said Oceane, Were kind of married still.
Right, he sighed.
Yeah, said Oceane, What do you think we should do about it?
Well, sighed Rupert, I guess we could get it annulled.
True, said Oceane disappointedly.
Whats wrong?
Oh, um, nothing, she said quickly.
Do you want to get it annulled?
Yes, she answered a little too quickly.
Your voice says otherwise, smirked Rupert.
What are you a voice analyst? Asked Oceane mockingly.
Nope, laughed Rupert, an actor.
Ohhh, said Oceane seriously, Rupert Grint?
Yeah, replied Rupert.
Damn, said Oceane, this is going to suck for your image.
Ohhh.. Rupert thought about it, I didnt think about that.
Im sorry, said Oceane.
Yeah, he said laughing, Me too.

Yeah...
