"Remy! Remy! REMY!" The light-haired girl was shouting as she ran over to the three boys. "Remy, I demand you get off that guy right now!"
Remy stopped trying to straddle one of the brown-haired boys. He glared at them and Ryan almost cringed under the intensity of it. Michelle gave Remy a pointed look and Remy grumbled as he got off Ryan. Spencer quickly helped Ryan up. Michelle elbowed the blue-haired boy.
"I'm sorry I tackled you, Ryan." Remy apologized. "But that's my guitar you are holding."
"How do you know my name?" Ryan asked confused.
Michelle snorted while Remy returned Ryan's confused expression. "Aren't you Ryan Ross and Spencer Smith from Panic at the Disco?"
Spencer and Ryan exchanged looks. "Well, yes."
"Well, there you go." Remy said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. "Can I have my guitar back?"
"Oh." Ryan took the guitar off his back and held it out for the strange blue-haired boy. "Here you go."
Remy grabbed the guitar and hugged it. Then he returned a soft smile to Ryan and Spencer. "Thanks, man."
"No problem." Ryan mumbled. "That's a nice guitar you have there." Spencer put a hand on Ryan's shoulder.
"I know. I don't know what I'd do without it."
"It was really nice meeting you two, but we really have to go." Spencer broke the momentary silence.
"Would it be okay if I could hug you two?" Michelle asked. Spencer and Ryan exchanged looks and nodded. Michelle smiled and hugged Spencer first while Remy took Ryan by surprise and hugged him. Then they switched. "Bye!" Michelle waved as Ryan and Spencer retreated farther away from them. "They were huggable."
Remy nodded absent-mindedly as he stroked his guitar. "And they smelled nice."
"Like a peppermint in a sugarcane field." Michelle sighed sniffing her sleeves. "I've got to call Daryl! Where are you going, Remy?"
Remy situated his guitar properly on his leg as he sat back on the fountain. "Don't worry about me, doll face. You go ahead and call the most amazing girl on the face of this planet."
Michelle pursed her lips as she watched her sole roommate strum a few chords on his precious guitar. "You better not get your sorry ass back in jail after all of that. I can't afford to bail you out a second time today."
Remy gave her an exasperated look. "Just call Daryl."
Michelle looked torn between keeping Remy out of trouble and recalling recent events to her best friend. In the end, she decided Remy could look after himself for a few minutes and started dialing.
"Hello?"
"DARYL, my love!" Michelle exclaimed. "Do I have a story to tell you"
"Did Remy end up in jail again? I can hear him playing in the background."
"Hi, Daryl!" Remy called out. "I love you!"
Daryl laughed. "I love you, too."
"I just bailed Remy out of jail." Michelle interrupted the two. "But that's not why I called. You will never guess who I just hugged."
"Remy's parole officer?"
"Surprisingly, he doesn't have one yet."
"Surprisingly." Daryl agreed. "So who is the lucky person you hugged?'
"Ryan Ross and Spencer Smith!" Michelle squealed. There was a long silence on the other line and Michelle started to worry. "Daryl?"
"I think you gave her a heart attack." Remy suggested. Michelle threw him a look. "Or maybe she's enraged with jealousy."
"Shut up, Remy." Then Michelle turned her attention back to the silent line. "Daryl?"
"YOU HUGGED MY FUTURE HUSBAND AND YOU DIDN'T CALL ME? I OUGHT TO RIP THE ARMS YOU HUGGED HIM WITH OFF AND FEED THEM TO MY DOGS AND THEN I'LL-"
"The blue-haired freak hugged them, too!" the look Remy gave Michelle could ignite a car into flames.
"REMY TAYLOR! I HOPE YOU BURN IN THE DEEPEST DEPTHS OF HEL-"
"DARYL!" Michelle shouted into the phone. "I promise, the next time I " Michelle shot a look at the blue-eyed boy humming along to his guitar. "-or Remy tackle and/or hug any member of Panic at the Disco, we will kidnap them and bring them to you or you to them."
Michelle could practically hear the smile forming on Daryl's beautiful face. "That's all I ask wait. Did you say tackle?"
"Oh, did I forget to mention that Ryan found-"
"You mean he stole!"
"-Remy's guitar and Remy tackled Ryan to the ground."
Daryl gasped. "Why can't I be Remy?"
"I can't imagine why you would want to be Remy." Michelle scrunched her nose in mock disgust. "Remy, is that my favorite song you're playing?"
"No, it's a different one on the same album. In fact, could you tell Daryl to come down and sing for me? I could use a few bucks."
"I can sing just as well as Daryl can." Michelle pouted. Remy cocked his eyebrow and had to disagree. "I'll show you. I'll have to talk to you later, love."
"Bye, love."
Michelle hung up her phone and skipped over to where Remy was getting ready to start the first verse. She completely put the risk of getting arrested to the back of her mind and started to sing.

"You okay, Ryan?" Spencer asked his best friend as the two of them approached Brendon's place. Ryan had seemed down since the run-in with the strange blue-haired boy and his girl friend, whom Spencer had unfortunately missed her name.
"That was a really nice guitar." Ryan mumbled as Spencer knocked on Brendon's door.
"I'll take you to that guitar shop you really like, later." Spencer promised as the door opened to reveal Brendon.
Brendon had a huge grin on his face as he opened the door. He took in the sight of Ryan and frowned. "What's wrong with you?"
"He was tackled by some blue-haired boy after stealing his guitar." Spencer explained as he followed Brendon into the house. Ryan glared at him.
"I didn't steal it." Ryan insisted.
"You tell that to the boy." Ryan rolled his eyes.
"It's not stealing if I was planning on returning it."
"No, that's called prolonged robbery." Brendon interrupted. Before Ryan could interject with a sarcastic rebuke, Brendon jumped onto a long black leather couch. He hugged the cushions. "You like it?"
Spencer stretched across the matching loveseat across from Brendon. Ryan settled into the black recliner to complete the set.
"It's comfortable." Ryan noted.
Brendon stroked his cheek against the couch, much like a cat would against his owner. "It's leather. I love leather."
Ryan and Spencer exchanged a look.
"When's Jon getting here?" Spencer asked. Brendon opened his eyes that he had closed in order to fully appreciate the leather of the sofa.
"Didn't you get his call? His plane is delayed and he won't be able to come down for a few days." Brendon asked suddenly confused. Ryan patted his pockets and couldn't seem to find his phone. He turned to Spencer and Spencer just shrugged.
"I had to ship my phone back because it was faulty." Spencer explained.
"I think I dropped my phone when Remy tackled me." Ryan said patting his pockets still.
Brendon rested his chin in his palms and kicked his feet in the air. "Remy." He lolled the name around in his mouth. "That's a pretty name."
"Don't say that!" Ryan exclaimed, wide-eyed.
Spencer looked at Ryan oddly. "You remembered his name?"
"Oh, he's a man." Brendon said stupidly. He pressed his cheek against the couch to hide the faint blush on his cheeks.
"Well," Ryan stumbled, embarrassed. "That girl was yelling his name over and over."
"Okay" Spencer finally conceded.
"I have an idea!" Brendon said suddenly after a moment's silence. Brendon did not like awkward silences. "Let's go get your cell phone, Ry."
Before either Spencer or Ryan could blink, Brendon was already at the door holding it open for them. Someone's excited.

"Sugarcane in the easy mornin'
Weathervanes my one and lonely.
Hey moon, forget to fall down
Hey moon, don't you go down
You are at the top of my lungs
Drawn to the ones who never yawn

Hey moon
, - Why did you stop playing oh."
Michelle looked over to the approaching officer. To be precise, Officer Shane was storming over to the fountain where Remy and Michelle resided, his handcuffs at the ready.
"Call the lifeguard a beach whale has just washed up on shore." Remy mumbled as he swung his guitar on his back. Michelle poked him.
"Be nice. Hello, officer. Nice day, isn't it?" Michelle greeted the officer.
"You're both under arrest." He said and Michelle's face fell.
"Listen, fatso," Remy started but he never finished. Officer Shane had grabbed Remy's wrist and flipped him over so that Remy's stomach slammed against the fountain. He had difficulty handcuffing Remy's other hand considering his guitar was in the way. "I see you remember me."

"Do you hear that?" Brendon asked Spencer and Ryan. Ryan shrugged. "I think a girl just screamed."
"I hear it, too." Spencer said. He then squinted and sees three figures. The largest figure is holding a blue-haired boy around the waist, whose legs are flailing in the air. There's another figure standing next to a guitar on the floor. She appeared to be shouting at the larger man whom Spencer recognized as an officer. He realized the girl screaming was the blue-haired boy squirming in the officer's arms.
"Is that the blue-haired boy who tackled you, Ryan?" Brendon asked. Ryan nodded. Suddenly, Brendon was running towards the scene with Ryan and Spencer following.
"Remy, is that you man?" Brendon asked with false familiarity.
Remy paused in his uncontrollable screaming to look at the new company. Brendon gave him a look to just play along.
"Yeah, it's me." Remy said his voice hoarse from screaming. "I'm in a bit of a fiddle."
Officer Shane looked from Remy to Brendon, Ryan and Spencer. "You know this punk?"
Ryan stepped in front of Brendon. "Yes. He is a close friend of ours. Are you arresting him?"
Remy started to squirm again as the officer nodded. "He was disrupting the peace with his guitar and with his lady friend over here." He nodded towards Michelle who had stopped screaming in order to drool admire the new additions to the scene.
"This is a big misunderstanding, officer." Spencer stepped in.
Ryan nodded. He was the fastest thinker on his toes. "We asked our good friend Remy to tune my guitar and see if it still works well. I didn't realize this was a disruption to the peace."
The officer looked torn between arresting Remy and believing the handsome new company.
"Don't let me see you playing your guitar here again." Officer Shane announced while placing Remy's feet back on the ground and taking off his cuffs.
"Oh you won't your giant beer belly will be blocking the view."
"Hey! Hey, now. Remy, be nice." Michelle spoke for the first time, grabbing Remy from behind and covering his mouth with her hands. The officer growled once before stalking away from the strange company.
There was a moment's silence where no one talked or moved.
"I LOVE YOU GUYS!"
