She leaned down, and sighed. She turned to walk away, and I couldn't help myself. "Hitori!" I reached out my hand, but she was far enough for me not to reach her shoulder. "Hm?" She didn't look at me. "What are you...planning?"
"Nothing. I couldn't if I tried." She shrugged, and continued to walk away from me. I took my hand back, and gawked at her. She stopped a second time, but this time looked at me. "My mother wishes to see all of you after the festival. I would be happy if you came." She looked...devious. But terrified at the very same time.
"I'm not so sure about that, Hitori."
She smiled, and turned forward one last time, heading for her home. It wasn't long until most of the people had left, and night fell. I managed to finish the food table just in time for Hitori's mother to walk out. The father was once again not present, and neither was Hitrori. "Inuzuka-san!" She smiled, and walked up to me, and bowed, "I wish to thank you and your team for everything you've done for us." I scorffed down one more onigiri before saying, "Dob menton eet." She stood back up and chuckled a bit, "And thank you for taking our hospitality; I see you have."

"I'll let everyone know your thanks, but, more importantly," I looked back at their house, "You need to keep a really good eye on Hitori." She nodded, smiling, "Could you let everyone inside for me?" She turned and headed towards the house. I sighed, and woke Akamaru up for support. "Could you get Shino for me? I'll get Hinata. What could she want this time?!"
Eventually, we were once again having tea in her lobby. "Kurenai-san could not be here?" She looked down, "Well, it's the thought that counts. I'm very happy you three brought Hitori home for me." Hinata smiled, taking a small sip of the tea. I didn't really bother. "Though I figured...it would be nice to say goodbye." She said, a look of daze crossing her face. "Whatever you say." I scoffed silently, obeying the fact that Kurenai wasn't here. If these people were to give any signs of a bad report of me...
Hitori came in, wearing the same kimono with less layers, fell to her knees, and hugged Hinata's neck. Hinata was unaware of her presence, and jumped a little, before smiling awkwardly. Hell, the whole thing was completely awkward. This family definataly had issues. Hitori let go of Hinata's neck, and sat up straight, facing the tables. She looked at me, her eyes glinting brightly, before looking to Shino, and whispering, "'Bye."
I grumped a face to the other direction. Shino sighed. "Well...I assume that's it-" Hitori then stood up, and said, "Bye to all of you," and walked back through the hallway. At that moment, I was sick of the long filler of us actually leaving this place for eternity, and stood up. I didn't feel like anymore talking;I made way for the door. I heard shuffling behind me, a quick "Excuse us!" from Hinata, and slid open the front door. But not before hearing a slam.
A slam of a window opening. I turned around, shoving past my frightened teamates, and openinge every door in the hallway until I found hers. "Hitori!" I shouted, bursting through the final door.

I had even finished packing this time, too.
"Hitori!"
My eyes widened as Kiba slammed open my room door, screaming at me. Right when I was shoving a pack outside my window. My eyes elongated, and I quickly pushed the rest of the pack out, but he was suddenly there. "No-" I shouted, before my wrists were held up against the nearby wall, Kiba pinning me down.
"What is this?! Huh?!"
"Get off me!" I screamed, squgging against his grasp.
"Kiba-kun! Stop!"
"What?! Are you running again!? Running from your mom who would give anything just to see you?!"
"You don't know anything at all! You come bursting in my life, and my home! How would you know absolutly anything without my mother spilling my entire life to you!"
"It is not a life to be forever chasing some guy who can't possibly remember you in the first place, and betraying your family in the process! Your only being a spoiled brat who won't listen to common sense!!"
"You, being who you are, couldn't possibly know what it's like to love another person! To be able to know, no matter how long a time you've known them!"
"On the contrary, I DO! Besides, this guy doesn't love you at all! He's already been married and gone, so you're out of luck, huh!?"
I pulled back and gasped. "Wh..-what...?" I shook out.
He also pulled back, as if not meaning to say it. His grip loostened on my wrists, but still kept them there. But I had no reason to protest. Anymore.
"He's...he's...he doesn't..." I sunk to the floor, cluching my teeth together. My chest heaved back and forth, silent sobs preventing me from breathing correctly. Clear water formed along the rims of my eyes, and began to overflow. "But...he...he promised me!"
Kiba kept standing, staring at me from above. I looked at him, causing pain to show on his face, and screamed, "You're lying! That's not true!" He backed up from the wall, looking away. "It is."
"No! No, no, no! That's wrong! He wouldn't! You can't know for sure."
"But...Hitori...it is," My mother sobbed, now at the doorway, and looked at me sadly. "I'm sorry...I could never tell you that...how could I?"
"You all hid this from me!?"I screamed, and looked around the room. No one met my gaze, except my mother. I bounded for the window, and jumped out. Grabbing my pack, I knew were I would go.

"Aren't you going to stop her?!" I screamed at Eika; she only sobbed. "How can I?"
I jumped out the window, managing to see her stumbling towards the front gate. I hadn't noticed Akamaru jump from my coat, but he was suddenly at my feet. Hinata and Shino didn't come; probably trying to comfort the mother. Hinata, at least.
Hitori didn't make it that far before being stopped by me. I ran in front of her and held out my arms. "Are you really going to go?!" She stepped back, and dropped once again to the ground. "You're right. I can't go there. But I can get out of here." She began crying again, before digging through her pack and bringing out her ears. The ones she liked so much, and would have treasured as me to Akamaru.
Crunching one in her hand, she lifted her hand up, about to throw it in the dirst. I acted without thinking, and rushed to hold her hand. No, I wasn't thinking. I was being a moron, and I was being stupid. It wasn't me at all. Not at all.
I took her chin, and pulled her to me, and kissed her directly.
I guess I was apologizing. But she didn't fight me. She sat, and endured it. I pulled back, and stared into her eyes. I couldn't tell what she was thinking, much less myself, before repeating the same action as before.
