A black poison control hearse whipped around a corner, missing the curb by a hair. Other drivers swerved out of the way in panic, slamming into nearby cars in the process. Inside the hearse, a loud banging was coming from inside a casket which rested in it's area behind the back seat, where Taki and Shoichi sat comfortably.
"Don't you think putting him in that coffin was a little extreme?" Taki asked someone in an absurd costume, complete with gas mask and duck boots, who was sitting in the passenger's seat. Deciding there were no dangerous odors in the air, the other man lifted his mask so that he could glare at Taki effectively.
"Nonsense," said the man, whom Taki noticed by the nametag clipped to his vest went by the name Jamery. "We're taking the necessary safety measures to ensure the well-being of both our passengers and our subject."
"By driving like a freaking lunatic?!" exclaimed Taki in return. In his peripheral vision he saw an expression of glee spread across Shoichi's face. The driver also turned in his seat to cackle at the boys with a frightening gleam in his eye as the car sped over a small animal, and the entire car experienced the bump as the tires came into contact with the poor creature.
"Holy shit!" Taki screeched, clutching the door for safety. The door was unlocked, however, and it flung open when Taki accidentally grabbed the handle. Taki's widened eyes were mere inches from the concrete zipping by beneath the car, and he was holding onto the door with a death-grip. His hold on the door was the only thing supporting his body, as his rather scrawny legs were numb on the seat. His exposed stomach was lashed painfully with air, which certainly didn't help him to hold on.
"STOP THE DAMN CAR!" Taki shrieked in terror. He was unable to see the people lucky enough to be inside the car, but he could hear Shoichi's psychotic laughter over the roar of the wind and other cars.
After another frightening swerve to the right, the vehicle finally came to a stop. Taki breathed out in relief and pulled his legs out so they were supporting his body the way they should be. He found himself standing in the parking lot to...a veterinarian's clinic? Taki was no expert, but he was pretty sure these people had no idea what the hell they were doing. Professional-looking uniforms or not, these people were not trust-worthy health care personnel. He had to get his brother out of that casket, and fast.

Yeah, but it had become pretty clear that he couldn't trust Shoichi.
Something is seriously wrong with my brother's judgment, if he's choosing friends like this, Taki thought dryly as he watched Shoichi help the Poison Control Officers hoist his brother's casket out of the hearse.
Frustrated at the lack of options, Taki started to pace. How could he get his brother and himself out of this loony bin?! And it was all that damn Shoichi's fault. He was the one who used fake movie passes to get them into the theater...
Who had even captured Asagi, to begin with? All Taki remembered was Shoichi yelling for him to follow him, and escaping out a door that seemed to be a back exit - but ended up leading directly to the manager's office. His brother's unconscious body had been there to greet them, along with the very unhappy manager of the theatre.
Not that any of that mattered now. Now he just had to find a way...
An idea struck his mind then, one that couldn't possibly fail. Yes, he knew exactly who to call in a situation like this. Why hadn't he thought of it sooner?
No, you won't be able to guess who Taki's going to call, but you can try if you so desire. XD Thanks for reading. I'll try to have more next time... ^-^;
