"Alright, I'm going to teach you a new jutsu." I mumbled, looking at the eager faces of my genins.
"Which jutsu is it Kakashi-sensei?" Naruto asked, clearly trying to contain himself, as he shifted in his spot.
"The jutsu I used on you during the survival test, the Magen: Narakumi no Jutsu. It has the ability to create horrifying visions."
Sakura stared in awe, "You mean the one you used on me?"
I nodded. "It is quite simple, depending on how you control it."
I performed the necessary hand seal. Yes, seal. It only required the snake, but you needed the ability to control your chakra very well.
"Alright, try creating a vision of Maemi-sama!" Naruto suggested.
Sasuke created a vision of Maemi in only two tries, I was amazed. She was on her kness, blood was dripping from her abdomen as she clutched it. A
disturbing scream came from her lips as her eyes suddenly widened, turning lifeless as a katana was implanted in her heart.
"That was disturbing." I muttered, looking at a shaken Sakura and Naruto.
"Did you hear that?" she suddenly asked.
"Hear what?" a confused expression made it's way to Naruto's features.
"I heard a scream and it wasn't the one from the jutsu."
I raised an eyebrow, following her gaze which was set to the village. "It must have been your imagination."
Sakura shrugged as I beckoned for her to perform the jutsu.
"What?" I screamed, looking horrifed at the words that were coming from Tsunade's lips.
"You heard me." she stated as a chilling smile formed on her features.
"What does that have to do with being a medical ninja?" I demanded as politely as I could.
"I just want you to be prepared, you never know what might happen."
My eye twitched. "Don't we have normal doctors for that?"
"Listen here, Maemi. You will do as I say. If you manage to do this, I will personally see to it that you won't need my guidance any longer." she said, as she
slowly stood up.
I groaned, following her.
"Hey Maemi! Where are you heading off with Tsunade?" Asuma asked as we passed by, Kurenai was right behind him.
I looked at the both of them with a grim expression plastered on my face, I took a quick glance at Tsunade's back before answering: "Could you do me one
last favor? Could you just kill me right now, I would be eternally grateful if you do." I requested as I handed him a kunai, pointing to my neck.
He laughed heartily, the cigarette on his lips shook as he did. He shoved the kunai back in my hand, as he patted my head. "That bad huh?" he asked
nudging towards Tsunade. "Sorry, I can't kill you. Kakashi might kill me if I do."
I sighed, turning to look at Kurenai, I pleaded with my eyes. Before I saw her reaction, I felt a presence behind me. I slowly turned around and came face
to face Tsunade.
"What are you doing?"
I chuckled nervously, and sighed. "Nothing."
She smirked. "I thought so."
I sadly looked back at the laughing Asuma and Kurenai, and followed Tsunade to the hospital.
"Are you sure about this?" I asked, turning to look at Tsunade. She was leaning against the wall behind me. She had an evil grin on her face as she nodded.
I turned to look at the doctor who was beside me. "Are you sure you don't want to help?"
He smiled. "I'm here to observe."
I sighed, picking up an injection. I pricked the woman with anesthesia.
I parted her legs as she pushed without my consent.
I grimaced. "Alright, keep doing what you're doing." I stated awkwardly.
I cut the edges of the opening, granting an easier way for the baby to pass through.
I felt myself enter the verge of unconciousness, I shook my head, trying to regain my composure. I turned away, seeing blood and water flowing out.
"I have faith in you." I heard Tsunade's voice behind me. I smiled, not bothering to look at her as I turned my attention back to the opening.
I took a deep breath, checking out if there was crowning. I gulped, seeing the cervix dilate, I saw the tip of the baby's head poking out. I cut through the membrane, also known as the amniotic sac, it released fluid.
I looked up at the woman and smiled at her. "Alright, it's coming out. You're doing a great job."
She pushed harder this time, the baby slid out slowly in waves as the woman's uterus contracts. I gently held it in my hands as I guided it, turning it to the side. I finally placed some gentle pressure on the base of the opening near the perineum.
The baby finally came out.
I smiled, hearing praises from Tsunade. I immediately handed the wailing baby to the doctor as I felt myself drifting away into the darkness.
I looked down, seeing my tattered ANBU outfit.
I turned to look at my team when I heard a sickening sound of cracking bones.
My head snapped towards it as I saw a missing nin holding the dead body of Sumi. My eyes narrowed from underneath my ANBU mask.
"Take your positions!" I heard Kiro scream at us.
I took no heed, after fighting him for 3 hours, I was ready to take him down. I performed hand seals as I ran towards the missing nin known as Tino.
"Maemi NO!" Kiro shouted, but he was too late.
"Fire Element: Phoenix Jutsu!"
I smiled when it hit Tino head on. My eyes widened in shock when I felt someone creep up behind me.
I quickly dropped to the floor swinging my leg, making him fall over. I grabbed a kunai as I aimed it at his neck, he blocked it.
I leaped away from him as he performed a jutsu.
Tino grabbed a sword, engulfing it in flames.
I charged at him, feeling immense power on my palm as I summoned 'Chidori: Lightning Edge!' I smirked, my mind drifting off to Kakashi for a brief moment.
I gathered up my speed as I aimed the jutsu towards his chest, I smirked, thinking I got to him before he did.
My eyes widened when I felt the flaming blade implant itself on my chest as I finally tumbled down.
I painfully looked over Tino as he shakily stood up. No! He couldn't have survived that!.
"You b*tch!" he screamed, making his way towards me.
The last thing I saw before drifting off was the remainder of my team charging toward Tino, and Kiro standing protectively over me.
My eyes fluttered open. I sat up, still feeling dizzy as I looked around the room, my eyes finally dropped on Tsunade.
She had a smile gracing her lips. "You did it."
I groaned, clutching my aching head as I forced a smile.
"You are now an official medic-nin."
I grimaced, "I don't have to wear those dreadful medic-nin uniform, do I?"
She laughed, finally warming up. "Not if you don't want to."
I did a silent cheer, but I suddenly frowned. "That means I can't fight anymore."
She shook her head giving me knowing look, "You have to, in self-defense. Believe me, that was my excuse."
Rest in results. <3

I laughed as I got out of bed. "I promise to never do that, ever again."
"And you call yourself a ninja." she taunted, walking out with me.
I stuck my tongue out, slightly chuckling.
We walked out of the premises, when my gaze fell on Kiro.
Tsunade followed my gaze and frowned behind my back.
"I'm going to head out for lunch, Tsunade-sama. Would you like to join me?" I suggested.
She shook her head. "Nah, I have something important to attend to. I'll see you tomorrow."
I waved at her retreating form as Kiro made his way towards me.
"Hey Maemi."
I smiled. "Hello Kiro."
He smiled back. "I'm getting some lunch, wanna join me?"
I shrugged. "Meh, alright."
He laughed as he put an arm around my shoulders. I felt awkward, of course we were friends, but it just wasn't the same as being around Kakashi.
We finally arrived at a sushi bar. I smiled, I was grateful, after eating so much ramen, a little sushi would be good.
