One Day She May Change The World {Joe Jonas} -- Chapter 1

~~Chapter 1 Being Saved by Them~~
The soft wind blew through her hair as she brought the thin jacket closer to her pale skin. She did not feel the wind, but instead felt a chill run down her spin, signaling the upcoming danger.
Quickening her pace, she raced through the seemingly deserted streets towards the safety of her house.
She gasped as her body was thrown against the wall of a nearby building.
Her eyes were tightly shut as thoughts raced throughout her mind. She was so close, so close to her safe hold.
"Hey there little lady. What are you doing out here all by yourself? Didjya get lost? Why dont you allow me the pleasure of escorting you home," said a husky voice as she felt a blade slightly piercing the skin of her neck.
She didnt struggle. If she did, there was no doubt that this man would kill her. Just from his voice she could tell tat he was older, from the pain that was still lingering in her back, she knew that he was extremely strong, and she caught the distinct smell of alcohol on his breath.
Secretly, she knew there was no hope. She lived alone and any family members she had were all the way across the country. She had no special someone, never did. Sure, she had a boyfriend now and then, but they never turned out to be anything more that friends. And due to that, there was no one she could call out to.
Taking a chance, she slowly opened her eyes a crack, just to get a look at the man.
He wore a pair of baggy, ripped jeans, a big, worn-out, brown leather jacket, and some messed up, wild hair.
He started to lean in, smirking as he did so. When he was about three or so inches away, he opened his mouth to say something, only to be interrupted by the screeching of car tires and the slamming of doors.
She was then dropped to the ground, suddenly free from the man. She heard some yelling and some fighting going on in front of her. Since she had already shut her eyes again, she was unable to see anything but the inside of her eyelids.
She jumped when a pair of arms made their way around her, slowly rocking her in a comforting and soothing way.
"Shh its okae. That man isnt going to hurt you anymore," said someone with a 'nice guy' voice.
She couldnt hold it in any longer, and tears were already starting to leek out, so she just broke down into the guys arms and started sobbing her heart out.
"Come on. I'll get you to the limo and Melissa can clean you up," he said calmly, slowly helping her up.
She started to walk with him, still sobbing. When they reached the limo, he opened the door and helped her in. Once in, she curled up into a ball and tried to stop her tears. He put his arms around her -- after getting into the car himself -- she rested her head on his shoulder, and he slowly rocked her to sleep.
wow... and the first couple paragraphs were gonna be an original story at first... huh...
