School Prom Tonight. I sighed and ran a hand threw my long hair. My boots clicked against the floor as I ran to the cafeteria.
"Hey guys" I smiled at my large group of friends.
We were known as the scene group. Of course there where the populars, nerds, loners, ECT.
"Casey" Mimi smiled pulling me into a hug "Who are you going to the prom"
I shrugged my shoulders "I don't know" I mumbled "Who are you going with?"
"Brian Haner" She giggled clapping her hands
"Hurray for you" I sighed as I poked my fork at the food.
"Food fight" A loud voice yelled.
Before I knew it food was being thrown across the room. I squeaked before jumping under the table. I laughed as I crawled over to the next table
"Hey emo" I laughed
"Hey scene slut"
"Hiding too I see James" I smiled
"I don't want spaghetti in my hair" He laughed running a hand threw his shaggy hair.
"Well I'm going to run away and out of here. I'll see you tonight at the prom"
"Yeah have fun with your date" He smiled waving goodbye
"Have fun with yours too" I replied before sliding out from under the table and running away.
My dress was tight against my skinny body. I slipped on my matching shoes before looking at myself in my full length mirror; my black hair was wavy. My grey eye outlined with thick black eyeliner. I took in a deep breath before walking out of my room. I walked down the staircase and grabbed my little black bag.
"Mum, I'm leaving now" I yelled from the front door.
I didn't hear a reply. I sighed silently before walking out of the door.
The cool night air brushed past my body as I walked down the lonely streets. I could see the school in the far distance. A smile glimmered on my face as each step I took I was getting closer.
"You look great Casey" Mimi smiled as she hugged my small body
"Same to you" I replied with a smile as we began to walk inside.
Mimi and Brian took off in a different direction. I stood by myself in a corner watching the couples dance to the fast beat music. I sighed to myself as I began walking around the room in the hopes of finding an empty table, but to my success there was nothing. My heart skipped a beat as I saw Jimmy sitting alone at a table off to the side. I took a deep breath in and walked slowly over to him.
"Hey Jimmy" I smiled "Do you mind if I take a seat"
"Oh hey Casey and you can sit" He replied with a faint smile
We sat there in an awkward silence. I fiddled with my black bag, but soon looked up to him. His brown eyes looked at me. A faint pink covered my cheeks as I quickly looked back down to my bag.
"So Casey where is your date" Jimmy asked breaking the silence.
"To be honest I never got a date" I said. I scrunched up my nose as I answer "What about you Sullivan, where is you date"
"Well, I was going to go with this girl, but knowing me I didn't ask her" He replied running his fingers threw is hair.
"You should have asked her. She would of had a great night with you" I smiled
"It's too late now" Jimmy mumbled
"No its not, go find her" I said faking a smile.
He turned away from my face for a second "Casey do you want to dance" He asked with a hopeful smile.
"James, I would love to" I smiled.
He hand was held infront of my face, I gladly accepted as made my way to the dance floor with my hand in his.
"By the way you look stunning tonight" Jimmy whispered in my ear.
I blushed as looked down towards my shoes
"Thanks" I smiled.
He placed a finger under my chin and lifted it so I was looking at him. A dorky smile appeared on his face as he lent in towards mine.
"Casey I really like you, would you be my girlfriend" He asked.
I stared at him for a second in disbelief. His hopeful smile dropped.
"Yes" I quickly said "I would love to"
His smile appeared back on his face as he pressed his lips against mine.
