"Ohmygoshwewillmissyousososomuch!"
"I'llcallyoueveryday,okay?"
"Isn'tthislikethefourthtimeyouhavemoved?"
"Keirayoucan'tmove! Whatwillwedowithoutyou!"

Mallory rolled her eyes, glaring at the group of older girls as they gushed over her sister, who just smiled that fucking perfect smile of hers. Violentley shoving her way right past them, she practically threw the heavy cardboard box into the back of the mini van. She marched right back up to the house, ignoring the "Whats-her-problem?" looks she was getting, and went and sat down on the front porch next to her father.

"That's all of them!" She said happily. "Can we leave now?"

"Beautiful. Now, lets get-"

"And that's where you learned how to ride a bike!"

"Cute. Let's move!"

Her father eyed her strangley. "Mall, shouldn't you want to stay? I mean, we're moving-"

"Half way around the country. And no, I hate this place. Let's leave." She grabbed his arm, ignoring his shocked look as she dragged him to the car.

While her mother worried over how they would be able to keep baby Lucy asleep for twenty hours, Mallory jumped in the car, fastened her seat belt and excitedly bounced her leg up and down.

"Hey, sis. Don't you have AP Bio to study?"

"Shut the hell up. I wanna leave."

"Well, isn't someone cheery?" Her brother remarked, immune to the death glare she sent him.

"Yes. I am. I cannot wait to get OUT OF THIS PLACE!" Raising her voice, she met her sisters aqua eyes.

Keira huffed, and hugged all her friends tightly.

Jude looked at her. "Don't be a bitch. Keira's leaving her friends."

"Oh. She'll make new ones."

"Mall, your jealous. Jealous that-"

"I am not!" Her fists clenched as her eyes stayed attached to her sister's clique.

"-Keira is so much more nicer than you. You wish you had all those friends."

"Shut up, Jude. I hate you." She spat, ignoring the pang of truth in that statement.

"Not surprising. You hate everyone. Everyone hates you. 'Cept me."

Mallory ignored him, keeping her eyes glued to her chipped neon green nails. True, her brother was her best friend. But she hated how well he knew her.

Keira gracefully jumped in the car. "Bye, everyone!"

Mallory snorted. Jude raised an eyebrow. Keira ignored them. And Lucy started crying.

Mallory watched as her old house got smaller and smaller. And then she swore to herself something.

She told herself, that this time, that this move would be different. She wouldn't be that nerdy girl.
Mallory wanted a friend. She wanted to have friends that cared when she moved.
She wanted to fit in. She wanted to be cool and fit in.
She would wear the latest fashion, hang with the coolest girls and date the best boys.
That way, when her family packed up and moved again, it wouldn't hurt so bad.

So look out California. Mallory Bailey, the freaky science girl, was about to become popular.
Lost yourself along the way.
Tada!

I'm going to write the next chapter...
