The next morning
Ayami’s point of view
I woke up to find everyone dead and my village in ruins. Everything was burnt.
“Kai, why would you do this?” I asked myself.
“I will get my revenge for mother, for father, and for the rest of the village.” I said as I stood up.
“My neck still hurts a little, but I have to ignore it. First I need to bury everyone.” I said and walked into the ruins of my house and found a shovel, and started to bury everyone.
Five Hours Later
I finally finished burying everyone and the last person I buried was my mom.
“Mom, I know you said the revenge is a sin, but I cannot forgive Kai for what he did. I’m sorry.” I said. I walked back into the burnt ruins of my house and found a weapons pouch full of kunai, shuriken, smoke bombs, and food pills.
“At least this wasn’t burned.” I said as I strapped it to my right leg. I walked back out and stood in front of my mother’s and father’s grave.
“Mother, Father, I promise, I will avenge our village.” I said as I walked through town toward the park, remembering everything that had happened to me in the village. Once I reached the park I went and sat on my favorite swing and started to cry.http://s294.photobucket.com/albums/mm109/Aya-neko/?action=view¤t=214.jpg" target="_blank">
Once I finally stopped crying, I stood up and said, “Farewell my village.” I walked to the village gates and turned to look at my village once more. Then I walked out the village gates, never to see my family again. Once I was deep inside the forest, I started training.
Four years later
I had been traveling for four years. I had trained every day and night, until I couldn’t any longer. I had no money, so I learned to steal the food that I needed without being caught, but this time I was caught.
“Hey you thief, get back here.” Said a man. He was carrying a club and chasing after me. While I was running, I tripped on a tree root and the man caught up to me. He beat me with the club and took back the food that I stole.
“That should teach you to never steal from me.” He said as he walked back to town.
Once he was gone, I stood up and said, “Whatever, your food was probably disgusting anyways. Today’s my eighth birthday and I don’t get anything, but its better this way.” I started to walk when the forest opened up, revealing a village and I stopped just behind the trees at the edge of the forest.
“Konaha….” I said as I read the sign. I walked out of the forest and up to the gates, but the man with the club, had hit me in the head on too many times and I was too weak.
“State your business here.” Said one of the guards.
“Please help me.” I said as I collapsed. The guards ran up to me and picked me up.
“Take her to the hospital and then go report this to the Hokage. I’ll continue to stand guard.” Said the other guard. Then I blacked out.
