One Hour Later
I slowly woke up and heard Iruka say, “You’re awake, what happened to you?”
“My sister attacked me, but I’m fine now.” I said as I got out of the hospital bed. I walked over to the closet and grabbed my clothes and head band.
“Please leave.” I said in an ice cold voice once again. Iruka sighed and walked out of the room. I quickly changed and walked out of my room and down the hallway, while tying my head band around my forehead.
A nurse looked at me and said, “Aya, you’re not supposed to be out of bed.”
“Leave me alone.” I said as I turned and glared at her. Then I turned back around and walked out of the hospital. Once I was outside, I saw all of the chunin and jonin, running around looking for something or someone.
“Aya, have you seen Naruto?” Iruka asked as he stopped in front of me.
“No, but I’ll help.” I said as I ran off into the forest.
“As long as I use my cat senses, I should be able to find him…. There.” I said to myself as I came to a clearing and saw Naruto and a chunin.
“Naruto you are the nine- tailed fox. Now die!” The man said. Naruto was on the ground starring at the man with fear all over his face. The man grabbed a giant shuriken off of his back and threw it at Naruto. Without even thinking, I ran in front of Naruto, my back to the man, and the shuriken hit me right in the back.
“Aya, why did you save me?” Naruto asked.
“Why, because were alike. We both have demons sealed inside us and were alone in the world.” I said as I pulled the shuriken out of my back, threw it down, coughed up blood, and fell, right on top of Naruto.
He lightly blushed and said, “Aya, thank you.” Naruto stood up and picked me up in his arms. Naruto was looking at me and not paying attention to the man and he threw another giant shuriken at us.
“I’ll kill two demons for the price of one.” He said.
“Naruto run.” We heard Iruka yell. Iruka appeared in front of us, just like I did when I was hit with the first shuriken.
“Naruto, take Aya to the hospital.” Iruka said as he pulled the shuriken out of his back. Naruto turned and started to run away, and I noticed a scroll on his back.
“Naruto, is that scroll what that man was after?” I asked.
“That man was Mizuki. He’s a teacher at the academy. I don’t know if it was the scroll he was after or not, but at least I know the truth about why people shunned me when I was younger.” He said.
“Naruto hide quickly.” I said. He stopped running and hid behind a tree. He sat me down next to him as we listened to Mizuki and Iruka talk.
“Naruto’s just like the nine-tailed fox. He wants revenge on the people that hurt him.” Mizuki said.
“No you’re wrong; Naruto is nothing like the nine-tailed fox. He’s kind and caring and he doesn’t want revenge.” Iruka said.
“I was going to wait and kill you after I killed the little brats, but I changed my mind. I’ll kill you first.” Mizuki said. He pulled out a kunai and threw it at Iruka.
Naruto ran out and blocked the kunai and said, “If you ever touch my sensei again, I’ll kill you.”
“Now I don’t have to hunt for you.” Mizuki said.
Naruto performed hand signs and said, “Shadow Clone Jutsu.” I looked around and saw at least one- hundred Naruto clones.
“They’re not just shadows, they’re solid clones.” Iruka said.
“You think you can beat me with clones? I’m a chunin; I won’t be taken down that easily.” Mizuki said.
