The next day The next morning, I woke up early. I took a shower, brushed my hair, and got dressed. Naruto was still asleep, so I made breakfast. Well I made ramen, since it was the only thing that I could find. As soon as I sat them down on the table, Naruto came running down stairs. “You cooked ramen, yay!” he yelled as he sat down. I handed him a cup and he quickly ate it. “Thank you Aya, but I need to go and get ready.” He said as he ran back upstairs. I sighed and ate my ramen. Once I was finished, I went back upstairs and brushed my teeth. I went back downstairs and stood by the door. “Naruto, hurry up or we’ll be late.” I said. “Alright, Alright, I’m coming.” He said as he came down the stairs. At the academy Naruto was sitting on the outside, I was in the middle, and the boy that I recognized as Sasuke Uchiha, was sitting next to the window. Naruto was a little confused because I was acting like my cold hearted self again. A boy walked past Naruto, but turned around and said, “Naruto, what are you doing here? This is for graduates only.” Naruto pointed to his headband and said, “You see this Shikamaru? This is a regulation headband.” I sighed and two girls came running through the doors. One had pink hair and the other had blonde hair. The girl with the pink haired turned and glared at me. She ran over and said, “Hey, who do you think you are sitting next to my Sasuke?” “My name’s Ayami Mikomi, but I prefer to be called Aya. Who do you think you are calling Sasuke yours?” I said in a very mad, cold voice. “My name’s Sakura Haruno, Sasuke’s number one fan.” She said. “Yeah right, I’m Sasuke’s number one fan,” the blonde said. “No you’re not, so shut up Ino-pig.” Sakura said. “No, you shut up, Bill Board Brow.” Ino said. “Why don’t you both shut up?” I said. I realized that Naruto wasn’t next to me anymore and I could fell tension behind me. Naruto was on the desk in front of Sasuke. They were glaring at each other. I noticed that the boy in front of Sasuke, but behind Naruto, was about to bump into Naruto. I imagined what would happen. I grabbed Sasuke’s arm and pulled him out of the way. I jumped in front of Naruto to catch him, but instead of catching him, he kissed me. Both of our faces turned bright red. I stood up and walked out of the room.
As I was walking out of the room, I could hear Naruto say, “Aya, I’m sorry, it was an accident.” As soon as I shut the door, I sat down, and sighed.
Naruto’s point of view
“Aya, I’m sorry, it was an accident. I said, but she still walked out of the classroom. I went and sat back down in my seat and Sasuke sat in his seat. Since Aya wasn’t there, Sakura sat in the middle.
Iruka walked into the classroom and said, “Alright, I’m going to assign you to a squad of three.”
After a while, Iruka said, “Squad seven, Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno, and Sasuke Uchiha.” I sighed, Sakura cheered, and Sasuke remained silent.
“Team eight, Hinata Hyuga, Kiba Inuzuka, and Shino Aburame.” Iruka said.
“Team ten, Ino Yamanaka, Shikamaru Nara, and Choji Akamichi.” Iruka said.
“Not food boy too.” Ino said.
“You will meet your sensei’s after lunch, class dismissed.” Iruka said.
Aya’s point of view
I listened to Iruka announce the teams. Once he said team six, I stood up and quietly went back into the classroom.
“Squad seven, Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno, and Sasuke Uchiha.” Naruto sighed, Sakura cheered, and Sasuke remained silent.
“Team eight, Hinata Hyuga, Kiba Inuzuka, and Shino Aburame.” Iruka said.
“Team ten, Ino Yamanaka, Shikamaru Nara, and Choji Akamichi.” Iruka said.
“Not food boy too.” Ino said.
“You will meet your sensei’s after lunch, class dismissed.” Iruka said. Everyone stood up and walked out of the room except for Naruto.
He stood up and said, “Iruka sensei, you forgot someone.”
“Who did I forget, Naruto?” Iruka asked.
“You forgot Aya.” Naruto said.
“Oh, I’m sorry, Aya, you’re on team…. You’re on team seven.” Iruka said.
“Thank you.” I said.
“Aya, when did you come back into the classroom?” Naruto asked.
“When he announced team seven.” I said and walked out of the classroom.
