Part 1: I love you--
I awoke to the sound of wolves in the forest such a blood-curling growl that frightened me, then I noticed she wasn’t here… my dearest Charlotte wasn’t asleep in the fireplace as she usually was… but that of course was in the daytime. Now worried I awoke Lucy, Mary, and my brothers Vincent and Von to go look for the girl I’ve loved for the past ten years, *sigh* everything was going so well until this damn zombie invasion started.
We carefully climbed out the window of the mansion where Charlotte used to live, that was of course before her family was brutally slaughtered; it now lays zombie infested, driving us to a large room where we’ve spent the last two days thinking of what to do with Charlotte, who was infected by a rouge vampire.
Quietly we wandered through the moonlight trees that loomed over us as we walked through the cold, quiet, forest, not knowing where Charlotte may be or if she’s even alive but its just that feeling that you have to know what happened no matter how horrible it may be… and horrible was exactly what it was.
I walked to a hill where Charlotte and I had been the night before and that where I found her leaning over four dead wolves that I heard from the mansion. I saw the blood drip from her face as I went pale, I stared in horror as I said in a timid frightened voice “Charlotte?” the others questioned her as to what she just did and she had this smile on face that only belonged to an utterly insane person.
I asked again but more frightened “Charlotte?” then I noticed that her look completely changed, she looked scared and sad, I noticed a tear run across her cheek and then without warning she ran into the forest the others chased after her but I stayed in sadness over what just happened.
I walk aimlessly through the forest trying to understand what had happened I start to think: Had she gone mad as a vampire and killed those wolves so horrifically and enjoyed it, then again it could’ve been a last resort but wouldn’t she have used her gun? No, no she forgot it so it must’ve been a self-defense sort of thing but why the smile? Surly someone would only smile to that if they had gone mad… *sigh* I wish this whole zombie thing never happened. It was at that moment that I heard Lucy scream I quickly followed the sound hoping that it wasn’t Charlotte causing Lucy to scream in such a way.
A few moments later I herd Vincent… it sounded like he was struggling I finally got to where they were but it was too late I saw the worst sight I could ever imagine Von was hanging from a tree, with his neck broken. Lucy and Mary on the ground with their necks torn apart and my dear brother Vincent in Charlotte’s arms, dead. I quietly came up behind Charlotte I put my gun against her head she suddenly froze and stopped drinking Vincent’s blood. I said in the saddest way possible “I love you--“ then pulled the trigger. I felt the tears drip from my face as I walked away and I heard two final words from Charlotte “I’m sorry” and she died.
