Daichi sulked into the Host Club like he'd done every day even after Tamaki, Hunny, Takashi, and Kyouya had graduated. He was now the 'Prince' of the Host Club. Daichi, the Prince, though not a self-centered as Tamaki, he still took after Tamaki. Ryuuga, the Cool type, as he took after his idol Kyouya. The Hitachiin Twins remained forever the Devil Type, though if Hikaru went to far, he got a good scolding from Daichi, and his brother rather enjoyed seeing Daichi angry. Haruhi forever remained the Natural type of the Host Club. The two newest members had taken over for Takashi and Hunny.Yachi's cousin's sister's nephew, Hanataro Haru, was now the Loli-Shota type. He did his job almost better than Mitsukuni Hanizuka. And then... what of the Wild Type. Daichi never thought this far ahead and so has been searching for a damn Wild Type. That was the day he walked in, sulking, to the Host Club. They had thirty minutes before the Host Club opened.
"Yo, Dai-Dai!!!" Hikaru yelled. Daichi twiched. He was getting somewhat used to it. It still got on his nerves every once in a while. Hikaru, Kaoru, and Haruhi sometimes wondered if Daichi was right for the spot of Prince and not Cool. But when the girls came in, Daichi was everything that could be asked for in a Prince... Unless Hikaru pushed him. Kaoru slapped his brother and jumped up, greeting Daichi with a light kiss on the cheek.
"Today," Daichi said, "shall be the best day the Host Club has ever seen!" And in that moment, he looked like a long, purple haired Tamaki. Everyone looked at him. He only did this when something big was going on.
"Uh.. Daichi-Nii-Chan?" Hanataro said uncertainly. Daichi sighed and held his head with both hands.
"Tamaki, Kyouya, Takashi, and Mitsukuni are coming..." Daichi said. "So Hikaru, push me..." Daichi smiled so sweetly that it was menacingly scary and made Ryuuga hide. "Push me and die," Daichi said in the sweetest voice anyone had ever heard. "So, I trust you all to keep in line, do not push me, do not push each other, do not push anything but Tamaki. It'll be good to see the former Prince pushed. Who's with me to push all the formers over the... Edge?"
"Everything about that is great, except that we don't have a Wild," Hikaru pointed out. Daichi smiled and pulled out a whistle that sports coaches use from his shirt and he blew it as hard as he could and through the side doors... Came Mitsukuni's little brother, Yasuchika. "Um.. Him?"
Daichi smirked. "Yasu-Chan.... WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU SEE TAKASHI?!"
"I make sure to out-Wild him, Master Daichi!" Yasuchika yelled.
"And then what do we do when we see Mitsukuni?" Daichi asked. Fifteen minutes left until the Host Club opened. Ten until the arrival of the Formers.
"I may be able to fight him if Tamaki has not pushed Master Daichi to twitching!" Yasuchika yelled.
"YES! YOU'RE SO KAWAI!!! BUT KAO-CHAN WINS!!!!" Daichi yelled, glomping Mitsukuni's little brother. "AIIIE!!!!! IF I HADN'T MET KAO-CHAN YOU WOULD BE MY MOST FAVORITE PERSON!!! AIIIE!! YASU-CHAN IS SO KAWAI!!!" Daichi yelled. He huggled Yasuchika for five more minutes before regaining his composure.
"Kinda Like... Poison...." Yasuchika whispered, smiling.
"Hmmm?" Daichi looked at Yasuchika and smiled.
"Yea. Speak up Yasu-Chan," Kaoru said, linking his arm through Daichi's, holding it tight.
"Master Daichi... Is... Kinda Like... Poison," Yasuchika said.
"How...?" Hanataro asked quietly.
"Well... Let's think... Master Daichi infatuated Keya Momo-San, Hanako Momo-San, Tamaki Suou, for a while Ryuuga Kokoro, for just a brief day, Takashi Morinozuka, for half of middle school, Kyouya Ootori. Forever and always, Yasuchika Hanizuka, and for eternity and beyond, he infatuated Kaoru Hitachiin. He completely took over said peoples' minds for however long... And... that's what poison does, completely takes over it's victim," Yasu explained.
"Hehee. So, Daichi-Nii-Chan isn't really the Prince at all... Daichi-Nii-Chan is the Poison!" Hanataro said, clapping his hands together. Daichi and Kaoru looked at eachother and smiled.
"Guess so," they said.
"So... Master Daichi is... Kinda Like Poison," Yasu said before the same doors Yasu had come in slammed open. Tamaki was in the lead, Kyouya and Takashi on either side of him, Mitsukuni on his shoulders, not Takashi's. Kaoru and Hikaru stood beside each other, arms and legs linked, Haruhi and Ryuuga stood next to them, Haruhi standing like usual, Ryuuga with his back to Haruhi, arms folded across his chest, Yasu and Hanataro stood together, Hanataro's legs wrapped around Yasu's middle, hugging him from there, and Daichi had his left arm across his body, his hand resting on his right hip. His right arm was held out in front of him and he was holding a rose. He cocked his head to the left, smiling.
"Welcome to the Host Club," Daichi said. And the Formers looked really shocked that Daichi had found their replacements. "Ah, of course. Who is who. Please, allow me to introduce you. Of course you know Hikaru and Kaoru Hitachiin, the Devils and Haruhi Fujioka, the Natural." Daichi smiled and Tamaki took the rose. Daichi blew his whistle. "Yasuchika Hanizuka, the Wild type. Hanataro Haru, the Loli-Shota type, and Ryuuga Kokoro, the Cool type."
"And of course, Master Daichi," Yasu said.
"Well, one would naturally assume that as the Prince was missing from the introduction, that would be Daichi-Nii-Chan," Hanataro said.
"But due to some certain circumstances," Hikaru said.
"We had to change Chi-Chan's title," Kaoru said.
"The changes, of course, are due to some realization on Yasu-Chan's part, of course, so he gets all the credit," Haruhi said. Daichi sighed. They were good at improvising. He just fell in love with his Host Club all over again.
"You may be wondering what these changes are," Ryuuga said, "but first off..." He smiled and opened the door. "The Host Club... Is now open." The girls flooded in and were about to flock to their given hosts or the Formers, but the look Daichi gave them all told them to sit down where they would.
"Due to circumstances, Chi-Chan's title has been altered," Kaoru announced to the silent girls. Some gasped and others laughed.
"Daichi-Nii-Chan is no longer the Prince of the Host Club," Hanataro said.
"But he is... The Poison," Yasu said.
"Because of all the Hearts Daichi Haru has infatuated or touched... The minds he has taken over... He is Kinda Like Poison. Poison takes over it's victim... And that's what Daichi Haru did. He is now the Poison of the Host Club," Hanataro, Yasuchika, Haruhi, Kaoru, Hikaru, and Ryuuga announced.
"And ladies, as you can see, we have a few visitors. Feel free to love them. It will be your last chance." Daichi smiled and threw his hand into the air, pulling a rose out of thin air. He gave it to Mitsukuni. He pulled another out of thin air and gave it to Kyouya and another to Takashi.
"Let the Host Club..." Daichi, Hanataro, Haruhi, Hikaru, Ryuuga, and Yasuchika began, "Begin," they finished.
