Aya’s point of view
After I ran down the stairs, I ran out of the school.
“Now if I were a Hollow, where would I…. the middle school.” I said and ran to the middle school. While I was running, I reached into my bag and pulled out a cat stuffed animal. I reached into the animal’s throat and pulled out a small green orb.
“Alright, Shadow, are you ready?” I said. I put the animal back in my back in my bag and ate the green orb. My soul came out of my body and I turned around.
“Aya? Where are we and why are you in your soul reaper form?” my body asked looking at me.“We are in Karakura town, Shadow. There’s a Hollow at the middle school and I need you to come with, in case someone is in trouble.” I said.
“Wait, you want me to put my life and your body on the line, again? If I end up dying while I’m in your body, then you will die as well.” She said.
“Yes, I know, but we have to protect anyone that’s in trouble, now let’s go.” I said and started to run toward the middle school again and Shadow followed.
Ichigo’s point of view
“Rukia, where’s the Hollow?” I asked as I changed into my soul reaper form.
“It looks like it’s at the middle school.” She said.
“Alright, Kon you go back to class for me and stay away from the girls. Come on Rukia, let’s go.” I said as I started to run toward the middle school and Rukia followed.
“I wonder why Aya ran out of the classroom like she did. Do you have an idea?” I asked Rukia.
“I’m not sure, but there is something different about her. She doesn’t seem human to me.” She said.
Aya’s point of view
“Alright, were here, so where’s the Hollow?” Shadow asked.
“Patience Shadow, it will show.” I said. Just then two girls came running out of the school and the Hollow was right behind them.I jumped in between the girls and the Hollow.
“Shadow, take the girls and protect them.” I said as I grabbed my swords.
“Alright, Alright.” She said as she ran up and grabbed the girls. She threw them onto her shoulders and ran away from the school.
“Protect them and don’t let anything happen.” I said as I jumped in the air to attack the Hollow.
Shadow’s point of view
“Hey who are you?” the girl with black hair asked.
“The name’s Ayami Mikomi, but I prefer to be called Aya.” I said.
“Well it’s nice to meet you Aya. My name’s Yuzu Kurosaki and this is my sister, Karin Kurosaki.” The girl with blonde hair said.
“Well it’s nice to meet you as well, let’s hide here.” I said as I walked into an alley.
“Why are we hiding?” Yuzu asked.
“There’s something after you two, so my friend and I have to protect you.” I said.
“Where is your friend?” Karin asked.
“She’s fighting the thing that’s after you. She’ll be here soon.” I said.
Aya’s point of view
“Die Hollow!” I yelled as I cut through the Hollow’s head, killing it. I sighed, turned around, and started to walk away from the school.
“Ichigo, the Hollow’s disappeared.” I heard a girl say.
“Well let’s see how it disappeared.” Ichigo said.
Ichigo’s point of view
“Ichigo, the Hollow’s disappeared.” Rukia said.
“Well let’s see how it disappeared.” I said. We ran to the front of the middle school and saw a girl. She looked a lot like Aya, except her hair was lavender, not purple. She was wearing a black dress, gloves, and knee high boots. She was also holding two swords.
She ran past me and right when she was next to me she said, “So you’re a substitute soul reaper as well, Ichigo. I think I know who you’re looking for, so follow me.” She ran past me and disappeared. I turn around and look for her.
“Rukia, I think that was Aya.” I said.
“Why do you think that?” she asked.
“I’m not sure, but I need to follow her, let’s go.” I said and ran away from the school, while Rukia was following. I looked down at the ground and noticed a trail of blood, so I followed it.
Aya’s point of view
Ichigo and a girl, with shoulder length black hair and grey eyes appeared at the entrance to the school.
“So Ichigo’s a substitute soul reaper.” I thought to myself.
I ran past him and right when I was next to him I said, “So you’re a substitute soul reaper as well, Ichigo. I think I know who you’re looking for, so follow me.” I ran past him and disappeared. As I was trying to locate Shadow and the two girls, I realized that the Hollow had cut my side open.
“I guess it will be easier for Ichigo and that girl to follow me.” I said as I stopped in front of an alley.
“Aya is that you?” I heard Shadow ask.
“Yeah it’s me.” I said. Shadow and the two girls walked out of the alley.
“Who are you talking to?” the girl with black hair asked.
“Hang on.” Shadow said. I stepped back into my body and the green orb came back out of my mouth. I reached into my bag and pulled the stuffed cat out. I put the orb back into the stuffed cat.
I sat the cat on my shoulder and Shadow whispered, so only I could hear, “The girl with blonde hair is Yuzu Kurosaki and the girl with black hair is Karin Kurosaki.” I nodded and put her back inside my bag.
“So it looks like I’ve met three Kurosaki’s in one day.” I said.
“What do you mean?” Yuzu asked.
“Well, I’m in the same class as your older brother, Ichigo.” I said. Just then Ichigo and that girl came up to us. I sensed another Hollow nearby and jumped in front of Karin and Yuzu, just as the Hollow attacked. The Hollow cut really deep into my side, and I fell to the ground. Ichigo jumped up, drew his sword, and killed the Hollow. Another Ichigo came running up to us and Ichigo stepped into his body.
Yuzu ran up to Ichigo and said, “Aya was protecting us from something, but she was attacked. We have to help her.”
“Alright.” Ichigo said as he picked me up in his arms. I passed out after that.
Ichigo’s point of view
Rukia and I were following the trail of blood and found my two sisters and Aya. Just as we came up to them, Aya jumped in front of my sisters and a Hollow attacked her. She fell to the ground and I jumped in the air, drew my sword, and killed the Hollow. Kon came running up to us and I returned to my body.
Yuzu ran up to me and said, “Aya was protecting us from something, but she was attacked. We have to help her.”
“Alright.” I said as I picked her up in my arms, but she passed out. Rukia, Karin, Yuzu, and I ran to my house. My dad burst through the door and tried to kick me, but I dodged.
“Dad, I need you to help my friend.” I said.
“What happened?” he asked.
“She was protecting Karin and me from something and she was attacked.” Yuzu said.
“Very well, give her to me.” My dad said as he took her from my arms and went back inside the house and we all followed. He laid her down on the table and started to treat her wound.
One hour later
“She’ll be fine. She only needed stitches.” My dad said.
“May I go in to see her?” Yuzu asked.
“You all may go in, just be quiet, she’s asleep.” My dad said. We all walked into the room, but instead of seeing Aya asleep, she was standing next to the window.
“Miss you shouldn’t be out of bed, you’re still injured.” My dad said.
“I’ll be fine. Thank you for your help Ichigo, Ichigo’s father, and Ichigo’s friend.” Aya said.
“Sorry, I never introduced myself. My name’s Rukia Kuchiki.” Rukia said.
“My name’s Isshin Kurosaki. What might your name be?” My dad said.
“My name’s Ayami Mikomi, but I prefer to be called Aya.” Aya said.
Aya’s point of view
“My name’s Ayami Mikomi, but I prefer to be called Aya.” I said.
“Wait, so you’re the daughter of Akito Mikomi and Hana Mikomi and the little sister of Hoshi Mikomi?” Isshin asked.
“How do you know my parents and my brother?” I asked.
“I went to school with your father and it’s thanks to your mother that I met my wife. Your brother was always getting into fights, so he was here almost every day.” Isshin said.
“I have to go.” I said as I grabbed my bag and walked out of the room.
“See you at school tomorrow, Aya.” Ichigo said as I walked out the door. I shut the door and stared to walk away from Ichigo’s house.
“Maybe Ichigo’s father was a soul reaper before. He may have went to the soul reaper school that my father told me about.” I said to myself.
“Let me out.” Shadow mumbled inside my bag. I opened my bag and let her out.
She jumped on my shoulder and said, “Do you know how hard it is to breathe in there?”
“No, but you’re a stuffed animal, so you don’t need to breathe.” I said.
“As long as my soul is in this thing, I need to breathe.” She yelled.
“Alright, Alright.” I said.
“So, where’s our home?” she asked.
“Ummm….” I said as I blushed a little.
“We already passed it didn’t we?” she asked.
“….Yeah, it was the house right next to Ichigo’s” I said as I turned around and started to walk back.
