Limousine

If it was a choice between this and hell you would choose hell. You were thinking this as you were walking home from the bus stop in the POURING rain freezing your ___ off. at least it would be warm there. u sigh. the wind was up and at it again, blowing, what felt like sand on your face(if you haven't felt that consider yourself lucky! it ******* hurts!). Your mascara was running and your hair was sticking to your lip gloss. While reviewing what felt like the worst day of your life you begin to wonder if this day could get worse. and sure enough... your ankle just has to give away when you are skimming the edge of a 3 inch deep puddle(puddle?!?! yeah right! more of a lake!!). You tumble and your books fly. "_____!" you say. As you are fumbling for your books and every thing else that was misplaced after the fall a limousine turns the corner and heads your way. "Perfect!" you say sarcasticly. "now the Snobs will be able to see me covered, head to foot, in mud."
the Snobs is the rich family that live at the end of the street. Their real last name is Stubbs. lately they have been taking their limo to and from school because their helicopter is in for repairs.
"need a ride?", someone called through the cracked window. you stood shocked that the Snobs would ever offer you a ride. thanks to those tinted windows you couldn't see who was in the limo. you recovered from the shock quite quickly though for the wind began smacking your face again.
"Thank you!" you say climbing into the limo. You shut the door and the limo accelerates. You look around at your companions and nearly fall out of your seat, but not because you hit a speed bump, but because you realized who the others were in the car.
"OMG..." you mutter under your breath. The Jonas brothers, Kevin, Joe, and nick, were staring at YOU!

"Oh my gosh!" you mutter over and over under your breath.
"Here" says Kevin throwing you a towel. "I’m Kevin by the way."
"Joe." says Joe.
"nick." says nick
"[your name]." you say drying yourself with the towel.
"We’re renting a house down at the end of the street" says Joe, almost reading your mind.
"Oh" you say quietly.
That was an awkward silence as the limousine continued down the road (you live about a mile away from your house and the speed limit is twenty).
"Why are you here?" you ask desperate for the silence to break.
"We’re playing for the homecoming dance at Conquer High." says Kevin.
"Oh" you say again. What can you really say during a time like this?
"Do you go there?" asked nick.
"Yeah...oh! Here’s my house." you say. You point out a 2 story brick house with a nicely kept lawn. It had a large porch with a love swing (a love couch mixed with a swing o.k. a large wooden swing).
"Uh...thanks for the ride." you say and shut the door. The limo leaves and you walk up the steps to your house thinking why was I so stupid? Why didn't I say anything?

FF to next day (Saturday)
u woke up and did your routine (sp?). You and your bff were going to the mall to get ready for the homecoming dance tonight (yeah, your a procrastinator (sp?)). As you finish putting on your make up u hear the door bell ring. U race down stairs to let your bff inside.

On your way down u grab your stuff. U throw open the door to find...KEVIN, JOE, and NICK ON UR FRONT PORCH!?!?
"uh...hi," u say surprised (sorry...that's an understatement - SHOCKED!).
"Hey," says Joe. "I’m not sure if u remember us from yesterday..."
~OF CORSE I REMEMBER U! ~ u think ~HOW COULD I NOT!?!?~ though all u said was, "yeah, i remember." u practicaly stayed up all night thinking about it.
"we were just wondering if u were doing anything?" says kevin.
"actually i was going to the mall with my friend," u say. even though u would have given anything in the world for this, ur just not the type of person who turns down their friends.
"Do u think it would be ok if we could come and you could show us arouond?" asked joe.
~ok, lets weigh the options: ur bff is a big fan to and would die for this oportunity OR it could just be u and ur friend cruising the mall (which sounds gay if u put it that way...)~ "yeah that'll be fine," u say."come in." they walk in. "make ur selves at home. i'll be right back," u say sprinting up the stairs. u take ur cell phone out of ur purse and begin dailing.
"hey, girl," says ur bff."is everything ok?"
"yeah, there's just been a slight change of plans." u say.
"what's that?"
"we're going to the mall with the jonas brothers!!!"

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" screams ur bff into the phone. "OMG!! R U SERIOUS!!" at this point u r holding the cell about a foot or 2 away from ur ear.
"[ur bff's name] calm down!" yeah like that did anything. "OMG!! is nick as he is in the magazines and on tv? omg he's got to be!! with all that curly hair! they've said he's shy but i don't beleive them. probably not as crazy as joe or kevin but definatly not shy..." she says all this really fast.
"hey, calm down will u? all i'm saying is i'm going to be a little late." u say.
"what do u think i should wear? i've heard they don't like hollister but i'm not sure thats true. i'm not going to wear that just in case..." u end ur call. ~there is no hope for that girl~ u think returning ur phone to ur purse and head back down stairs.
"ok i'm ready," u say adjusting the handle of ur purse. "lets go."
"do u want to take ur car?" asked joe. "sure." u say, grabbing the keys off the hook(u r only 15 and have a permit and don't own ur own car, ur constantly driving the family car up and down the block). "do u want to drive?" u ask them."yeah," says kevin and u throw the keys to him. (the car is above).
~FF to mall~
u guys walk into the mall in the food court seccion and see ur bff on the other side of the food court. she is starring at u. apparently the only thing she can do is mouth 'omg'.

"yeah...sure anyway i was thinking we could meet at the food court around 11:45-12:00, have lunch and then do some shopping if thats ok with u." she says in a bored voice.
"[bff's name] didn't u hear me? i said the jonas brothers r going to hang out with us!"
"oh i heard u, i just think ur nuts."
"[bffs name] i'm serious they're sitting in my living room right now!"
"ok, i'll see u at the food court in a few" and she hung up. ~she'll see~ u think ~she'll see~
"ok i'm ready," u say adjusting the handle of ur purse. "lets go."

"hey [bff]," u say."r u ok?" she was just standing there with her dropped jaw and popping eyes. this was a sign u knew only to well for u quickly put ur hand over her mouth thus(i LUV that word!) causing her "AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" to be more of a "MMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!"
"one minuet," u say to nick, joe, and kevin with a weak smile. u push ur friend behind a piller, ur hand still over her mouth. "Shhhhh!! We don't want to draw too much attention to them!" u say dropping ur hand.
"I know," she says in an exasperated voice. "but...its just...the jonas brothers!"
"Chill! we'll have lunch and then we'll go shopping, 'k?"
FF to after lunch
"So where do u want to go first?" u ask them. joe, nick, and kevin couldn't choose just 1 store to go to first and ur bff was out of the question - she was staring at nick like nothing else in the world was more interesting. the surprising thing was he didn't seem to notice. anyway u decided to go to the stores 1 by 1. after u've been to a good bit of the stores u guys decided to grab a coffee at starbucks. ur bff choose a smoothie(she's not a big fan of coffee) and u got a Strawberries & Creme Frappuccino and so did joe!! nick got an iced coffee and kevin chose a Mocha Frappuccino. u chose a table and sat down(ur bff sat next to nick of course). u guys talked about the most random things. "i think [bff] and i should shop for our homecoming dresses," u say finishing ur drink. "u could look at the other stores."
"there's more?!" says nick. anyway they agree and u turn in opposite directions.

so u 2 enter the store. u pick out a few dresses to try on and finally u found THE dress. u open the door a crack and its flung(sp?) open. joe jumped in the room and slams the door behind him. "They're after me!" he says.
"Joe, what's going on? Who's after u?"
"Joe who's after u?" u ask again. then u heard it. "AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!" "He's SOOO cute!!" "Joe, i love u!!!" "I love the jonas brothers!!!" and u hear about thirty bodies being pushed at the door to the dressing room. u look over at joe and he just shrugs his shoulders. u have an idea. "hey!" u say."stop banging on this door! can't a girl have any peace and quite when trying on clothes!" kinda cheesey but it worked.
"Where'd he go?"
"i could have sworn he went in there." the voices died away slowly.
"What was that all about?" u ask.
"well, we went into a CD store and, i guess, some girl recognized us." he replide smiling."its funny when u think about it."
"i need to go pay." u say and pick up the dresses and leave for the register. u made a deal with the receptionist to announce, over the speaker thingy, that the jonas brothers to plz report to the east side of the mall. this made it easier to escape the fans(ur car was on the west side). u say good bye to ur friend and head home.
It was now 7:00 and the dance started at 8:00. you put on your dress and spent about an hour on your hair and make-up. the shoes you were wearing killed your feet but that didn't matter much because you were just going too take them off when you got there. by the time you were done you were practically glowing. you looked at the clock and relized it was a little past eight(you didn't want to be the first one there anyway).
~FF to the dance~
you walk in to the gym and see your best friend looking as stunning as ever.
"hey [bff], you look amazing!"
"thanks so do you! i love what you did with your hair!"
you two met up with some of your other friends and danced with each other. you couldn't help but wonder where nick, joe, and kevin were. you were scanning the crowd when suddenly the principle stands up on the mini stage.
"excuse me can I please have your attention," she said into the microphone. "it is time to present our guest performers who will be sing a few songs tonight. please welcome the Jonas Brothers!!" and the whole female student body urrepted(sp?) in screams. the girls' dates glared at kevin, joe, and nick as they made their way onto the stage. they sang some of their popular songs and then joe says, "this song is one I just recently wrote for a girl I met and instantly fell in love with."
As nick and kevin start to play, joe manages to fing you in the crowd. you guys make eye contact and he starts to sing. you were unable to take in any of the words as your whole mind went blank. the only person you could see in the room was joe looking into your eyes. when the song ends joe steps down from the stage and walks toward you. he takes your hands and places them around his neck. he moves his down to your waist not breaking eye contact. a slow song begins to play and the two of you begin to dance, moving back and forth in time with the music. when the song was over he took you outside.
