"You like him." Renji said smirking. You grabbed your cup of tea and tossed it in his face.
"Look Renji, your all wet." You said laughing, earning a laugh from Kenny, as he sat facing you guys. It was just another drinking night in 11th squad, Matsumoto, Hisagi, Izuru, and Renji had showed up like they always did. You were sitting with Renji, Kenpachi, and Yarchriu. "And I don't like Ikkaku, why do you keep saying that? You'd have a better chance than he would." You said, laying your head in your right hand, pouring some more tea into your cup. Yeah everyone was drinking except you. And ofcourse Renji, he kept dumping his cup on the floor and filling it up. When you got drunk in the 11th squad, bad things happened. Renji whipped his face on his robe, his smile still on his face.
"Oh come on you guys argue all the time, your always fighting together, and he gets all pissed off when someone interupts."
"That would mean that he likes her wouldn't it?" Your small, pink haired Lt. said bouncing up and down. You smiled at her.
"Well, I guess, but I know you like him." Renji said leaning over the table.
"OHH. Aya, you like someone?" Looking up you saw the man that everyone was teasing you about. Renji jumped up.
"Yeah she's got a huge crush on someone, only she won't admit to it." You stood up.
"Shut up Renji!" You screamed. Ikkaku's face contorted.
"So who is he?" He asked Renji. Renji's smile grew at the question. Then makeing eye contact with your burning red eyes, his smile dissappeared.
"Uh, you know the name slips my mind at the time. You can talk to her about it, I think I hear Izuru calling me." He said running away from the table. You raised your fist after the fleeing red head.
"Dam it Renji, I don't care if your aLt. and I'm just a fourth seat, I'm going to kick your ass!" You yelled starting after him. Only to have your arm caught, turning you saw the person who was respondsible. "Ikkaku let me go, I have to kill Renji. He's expecting me now." It was had to explain the look in Ikkaku's eyes, it was something that looked like hurt and confusion. "Ikkaku are you okay?"
"Hey are you going to tellme who this guy is? I mean we were always close and Renji knows, but I don't." You pulled your arm from his.
"It's nothing, he's just screwing around." Your heart was sinking, why did his fae hurt you so much. Was Yarchriu right? Did Ikkaku have a crush on you?
"Alright Aya if you don't want to tell me up front, then fight me, if I win you have to tell me who it is. And if you win, you don't." You shrugged your shoulders, the last thing you wanted to do right now was hurt him, he alreasy seemed upset. You glanced across the room, spotting Renji, as he made eye contact, you gritted your teeth, and made a fist at him. His eyes went wide, and he grabbed Izuru and moved out of the room. Ikkaku grabbed your arm, and started dragging you to one of the training rooms. Your uniform looked alot like Hisagi's, only it was more form fitting. Once he stopped pulling you as you arrived in the room, you took a deep breath. Pulling a tie out of your pocket, you pulled you deep blue hair back. Looking across the room, Ikkaku's eyes caught your red ones.
"You know we don't have to do this Ikkaku. I already told you it was just Renji messing around." You pulled your Zanpakto up quickly as Ikkaku's hit the hilt.
"Less talk, get ready." You smiled, pulling your zanpakto form it's sheath. Steading it up.
"Alright, but don't blame me when things end up in the same postion as when we were in the other room." You rushed the bald shinagami, stricking down on his, as he held his out defensively. You rounded on him, attacking from the back. He turned slightly late, as your sword caught the front of his robes.
"Shit Aya, all you have to do it tell me who he is." He said. You leaped forward lunging with a thrust of your sword.
"Ikkaku I don't like anyone, Renji was just screwing around, how many times do I have to tell you that." He caught you off gaurd, cutting through your pant leg. You jumped back. "Why does it matter so much anyways?"
"Because I like you." He said charging at you, you skidded back by the amount of force that he was forcing down on you. In all the times that you had fought him, he had never used this kind of power on you. You pushed forward. Yarchiru was right, he did like you. And thinking about his words, the hurt that was in his eyes. You realized that maybe, you liked him too. A smirk crossed your face. You pushed him back with all of your power.
"You know all you had to do was say that. You didn't have to fight with me." You forced all of your power up and nailed Ikkaku up with a quick thrust. He fell down, and you dropped onto him. Straddling his hips. A smirk crossing your lips again. "I win." You said. He looked away from you.
"Fine, now get off of me." He said, angrer than usual.
"NO!" You yelled, slamming your palms on eitherside of his head. He looked up at you,a slight shock on his face."Look, I told you, he was just screwing around, he's been doing itfor years. But the truth is he teases me that I like you. So you go and have a heard attack and start a fight withme,and then itturns out that it's you that I like. So you started a fight, turned into a jerk, and got your ass kicked over nothing. Asshole." You said shifting your weight so you could get off ofhim. Only to have him pull you down, back ontop of him. Your body laying pressed against his, his stupid smirk on his face. Hisright hand gripped the back of your head, pulling your lipsto his. For a guy that was so rough, his lips were suprisinglysoft. Your red eyes closed, as you let the kiss take over, his left hand finding it's way aroundyour waist. You pulled away, biting hislower lip as you did.
"Now come on Aya don'tbe mad at me, I was upset, I thought you had a thing for Renji or Hisagi." Youleaned back, sitting on your knees. You smiled.
"Well Hisagi is hot, and that 69 tattoo gives me awhole lot of ideas. And Renji, my god, have you seen his chest with all those tattoo's, makes me want to try body shots."Ikkaku's eyes widened in shock. You bagan laughing.He lunged forward trying to grab your waist. You jumped back, landing on yourfeet. "It's not going to be thateasy Ikkaku, if you want me, your going to have to chase me." Yousaid leapingout the window.Only to hear Ikkaku leap out the window too.
"That'sfine Aya, it wouldn't be any fun if you weren't hard to get!" You started laughing.
"If I find Hisagi first your out of luck." You screamed.
"WHAT!!!!!!!" He screamed. You began laughing again. Man this is going to be a fun relationship. You thought, as Ikkaku and you ran through the streets, laughing and living.
