You gulped considerably tight as you messed with the skirts of your gown and tightly held the bouquet of gorgeous flowers in your hands as Yuu stood beside you and patted your lower back to comfort you, he'd be handing you over to Gackt. "Nervous?" He chuckled knowingly as your eyes widened at the sound of "Here Comes the Bride" beginning to play through the garden. You whispered comforting words to yourself as you looped your arm tightly with Yuu's and he patted your arm gently as you both stepped forward gracefully and drew closer to the beginning of the sermon. You smiled nervously at all the excited faces that peeked out at you and the amazing job that Yumiko had done with spreading the flowers about the rolled out bright red carpet. Your heart soared when you timidly peeked up at Gackt standing at the end of your path with his hands neatly folded in front of him, but his usual placid expression couldn't be contained as his face was smoothed out in complete awe at your appearance.
You tried to ignore the continuous camera flashes focused on you from a regretful Hyde, who was ordered by an excited Megumi to take photographs, and from Gackt's mother, who had been completely taken with you upon first meeting.
Before you knew it, before you were ready Yuu placed his hand on your lower back and pushed gently, it felt like you floated over into Gackt's hands as you looked up at him in complete awe and even a little fear. Gackt's lips pulled up into a dazzling smile that made you feel completely taken care of as you both faced the minister. You couldn't remember much of the sermon, sadly, you were so focused on the wonderful feeling it gave you with Gackt's arm wrapped about your waist in a firm hold. But you did remember saying "I do" shyly and Gackt giving you the most charming smile as he tightened his grip on your hand as he slid your wedding ring onto your finger gently. And the way he looked into your eyes left you on Cloud Nine.
"You may kiss the bride." Wait, what!? When did it get this far? Everyone leaned forward in anticipation as your veil was lifted with gentle, careful fingers, as Gackt feared you to be made of glass. His arms wrapped around your waist and pulled you close, your eyes softened and closed shyly as his lips pressed to yours in the most loving kiss he had ever graced you with.
"Gackt." You laughed happily as he carried you up the stairs of the now empty house. The wedding was over and you proudly bore two rings on your finger and Gackt had never appeared as wonderful as now. "Gackt, we can't miss the party!" The wedding reception was being held downstairs and you were confused as to why the groom had snatched you as soon as you had stepped into the house and swept you away upstairs. You blinked in confusion as he lead you back to your bedroom and shut the door quietly with his foot.
"I don't think they'd mind much." Gackt whispered as he laid you down on the bed gently. You blushed and finally understood as Gackt hovered over you cautiously and brushed his fingertips along your cheek softly. "Emma, I don’t know how to say this. B-But, I want-" You cut him off by wrapping your arms around his neck and pulling him to you while crashing your lips desirably onto him.
It was then you discovered the true gentleness a man can give a woman.
The End
