He held you as he walked away from the Shinra building. You closed your eyes and relaxed feeling tired. Without meaning to, you fell asleep in Sephiroth’s arms. Sephiroth noticed this and stopped under a tree and laid you down under it. You opened your eyes startled to feel a tree root sticking into your back. “wh...” You were interrupted by Sephiroth “Go back to sleep Elyce. We’ll be resting here for tonight.” You sighed. “But isn’t that dangerous?” Sephiroth turned around and kneeled in front of you. “Do you think I’d stop here if it was dangerous!?” He growled. “No... Sorry Sephiroth. I should really be thanking you.” You looked away sadly. “Well you can thank me by not asking stupid questions ok?” You nodded in agreement. “Good. Now get some rest before I make you.” You laughed nervously. “Ok... No need to get violent on me.” You closed your eyes and sighed. You brought his coat closer to you, making sure that you hid your naked body and to keep warm.
~Sephiroth’s P.O.V~
Sephiroth stood up and smirked. “Well at least she’s learning.” You turned around and scoped the area looking for anything suspicious. You had lied, you were doing something dangerous by stopping here, but that battle with your other half had drained you of most of your strength, and with Elyce infected with a werewolf gene, and tomorrow night could be very eventful. You took a deep breath and used the last of your MP to set up magical trap’s that would wake you or harm the intruder. You turned back to the tree. It seemed familiar to you. You had a sudden flash of a memory. Instead of Elyce sleeping under the tree someone else was, he had Dark Brown hair and she was skinny. She had blood on her face and on her side. She started to lift her head; but the image disappeared before you could see her face. You shock your head trying to lose the image. “Great... flashbacks.” You mumbled not really wanting to go down memory road. You sat down next to Elyce and sighed. You looked up at the stars and smirked. “6 years since the last I looked you blasted stars. Tormenting me with your almost eternal power. If meteor had succeeded... I wonder. Would you stars still burn as brightly? ” You shook your head. You knew the answer to that. You didn’t even know why you asked that question, you then relaxed and dozed off into a light sleep, so you could listen for any suspicious sounds.
The night was peaceful. You didn’t hear anything that was threatening, owls hooting, Elyce’s breathing and the wind. Unless the owl had rabies and thought you were a rat, you knew that the area was safe so far. Elyce’s head suddenly fell onto your shoulder. You woke up to see her still sound asleep. “Great I’m a pillow now!” You muttered angrily to yourself. Elyce then wrapped her arms around you and snuggled up to your chest and shivered. “Wow I’ve been upgraded to pillow and blanket...” You sighed, there wasn’t any point in waking her up, and so you let her sleep. You closed your eyes and tried to sleep again, but Elyce’s tightening grip on you was annoying and making it hard to breath. “Oh for the love of God...” You mumbled and pushed her off you. She still didn’t wake up. “Oh my god she’s still asleep! I pushed her and she is still asleep.” You got comfortable again and managed to get to sleep again.
