"My god, he is so adorable!" Sophia cooed into the phone as she watched pictures of newborn Ryan Gerald Trelont flash across her screen.

"We're glad you think so." Alison breathed.

Alison Trelont had given birth to her youngest and second son late last night and had called late this afternoon while Matt was at his David's house. Ryan was Alison's fourth and last child as far as she was concerned.

"I can't wait until you guys get back here, I can't wait to hold him." Alison laughed at Sophia's enthusiasm.

"I can't wait until you have one of your own, you and Matt would have beautiful babies." She exclaimed and Sophia laughed.

"Children is a long way off, Ali. Right now I'll just have to settle for yours."

"Alright, I'm willing to share with those I love. You're lucky, Soph, real lucky." Alison laughed but then sobered up. "Alright, but besides needing to tell you about Ryan, I called because I need to run through the next to dinner show with you.

"Right, I've already met with the models you recommended and they're perfect. I've started their fittings and they'll be walking around the dinner party and showing the designs at the next which is…"

"Which is next Saturday, right?"

"Right."

"Alright, I'll have the models there by 5 since the party starts at 6:30...they can start walking around at about, seven or so, is that alright?"

"That'd be great. Thank you so much, Ali! Come home soon."

"We'll try. Bye Soph, love yah."

"Love yah, too."

Sophia was met with a dial tone and just as she was about to stand and leave the room, she felt Jason climbing into her lap. She relaxed into the seat and he turned his face towards her with a crooken smile.

"When's mommy and daddy comin' back?"

"Just two more weeks, baby. They took a whole month off for their honeymoon and its almost over, I promise."

"Oh…k. Will I still wive with you?"

"No, you'll be going back with your mommy and daddy. But I'll come visit you all the time." She explained to him as he stared into her grey eyes. His smiled widened and he turned back to the computer; he pointed a finger at the screen and looked back up at Sophia quickly.

"Whose dat?"

"Well, remember Sherry and Annabelle and Matt? Who live in that big old house that Matt drove us to?" Jason nodded. "Well, they're mommy had another kid and he's they're new baby brother. His name is Ryan." Jason stared at the picture for a second.

"Will I have a baby brother?"

"Maybe someday."

"What 'bout you? Are you gonna have a kid then give him a baby brother?"

"Maybe someday." She told him as she rested her chin lightly on his head.

"I hope you do…but how do you have one?"

Awe s_it, Sophia thought. I should have saw that one coming.

"I uhhh…" Sophia swallowed. "I don't really know…" Jasons's brown eyes widened.

"B-but you're an adult! You know evwething!" He exclaimed and Sophia laughed lightly.

"Well, you see…alright, the stork brings babies."

"What's a stoweck?"

"Ummm…it's a bird. And when a mommy and daddy want a baby…it brings them one in a blanket."

"Really?"

"Of course." Sophia lied with a smile; glad she remembered that story. "Now, come on. Time for your nap before Julie comes by." Sophia lifted Jason into her arms and started for the door. Sophia only paused for one last peak at the hazel eyed, black haired child on her screen - the spitting image of his father - before she continued to move towards Jason's room; all thoughts of future children forgotten.

-----------------

"If he doesn't end up with April, I'm so walking out of this room."

"Shut up, Julie." Sophia hised quickly at her friend; her eyes staring intently at the screen as Definitely, Maybe played across it.

The pair watched in silence as a girl who wasn't April appeared and Julie let out a cry of despair before standing up, walking to the DVD player, and pausing it. She turned to stare at Sophia in frustration before she flipped on the lights and turned off the TV.

"Hey! It's not over!" Sophia protested as she glanced around the room for the remote.

"Doesn't matter, he's with that other girl!"

"There's still time for it to change! It doesn't matter how bad April and him left things, there's still a chance for everything to work out. Love will always find its way." I ended dramatically and Julie laughed before she conjured up a smirk.

"That's true, isn't it? I mean look at you and lover boy." Sophia flushed and looked away, her eyes caught sight of the empty popcorn bowl and she grabbed it before standing up.

"We need a refill. Feel free to stay here-"

"No I'll come. So, I get that like a week ago you guys had great, passionate, physic defying, toe-curling-"

"Julie! Jason could wake up and walk in here at any moment!" Sophia cut her off with a stern look.

Julie rolled her eyes.

"Fine, you know what I'm talking about. So you did that but what's happened since then?"

Sophia rummaged through the cupboards as she spoke.

"What are you talking about?"

"I mean, have you guys talked about anything else? Like, about the future? Can I expect a wedding invitation anytime soon? Or have you at least told him you loved him?"

Sophia stopped rummaging and turned to look at Julie with an exasperated look.

"Jules; number one, just because we slept together doesn't mean that we're planning our wedding already. Number two, we've only been together for a little bit- yes, we've known each for a very long time but I also haven't spoken to him it years. I guess in a way I feel as if we kind of have to get to know each other all over again. And finally, number three - I have not told him I'm in love with him because I'm still not sure that I am."

Julie rolled her eyes.

"Oh please. You so are."

"You can't be sure."

"Sophia, if you weren't in love with him you still wouldn't be so bothered about what he did to you all those years ago."

"That is not true! He was my best friend and he betrayed my trust just like that, I reserve the right to remain a little annoyed about that."

"Yes, you do, but honestly - six years? Soph, face it; if you weren't in love with him then you never would have held the grudge for so long…you would have let it go a while ago, around the time when you believed you were falling in love with some other guys."

Sophia stared at her best friend, her eyes opened in surprise as she thought about what Julie had said.

Was she really, truly in love with Matt? It did kind of make sense…if she wasn't in love with him then as soon as she found love with one of her other boyfriends, like Luke or something, she would have gotten over Matt and what he did to her.

But she didn’t.

Sophia looked up at Julie and found her rummaging through the same cupboards that Sophia was looking through a few minutes ago. Julie suddenly stopped rummaging and pulled out a package of Fig Newtons as she wrinkled her nose.

"Why on Earth do you have these? You hate them, Jason hates them, and I hate them." She asked as she held the box out at a distance.

Sophia shifted her weight from one foot to the other.

"Ummm…well, I bought them because Matt likes them."

"Why would that matter, though? Is he over here that often?" Julie asked curiously as she put the Fig Newton Bars back. Suddenly her eyes widened in realization and her mouth formed a devilish grin as she made her way from the kitchen and rushed to Sophia's bedroom.

Sophia followed her and watched as Julie swung open the doors to the closet; she laughed happily when she saw some of Matt's shirts and pants hanging there. She then maneuvered her way around Sophia and ran into the master bathroom where she disappeared from Sophia's view.

Sophia sighed and walked to the bathroom to find Julie casually leaning against the counter with Matt's toothbrush in her left hand as she twirled it.

"He's been spending every night here since you guys slept together, hasn't he?" She asked knowingly with a hint of amusement in her voice and Sophia nodded.

"And most of the days too." She added to Julie's great satisfaction.

"He's practically moved in with you, Soph."

"I know but it's not like I planned it! One day his toothbrush just showed up here and his clothes just…I don't know, he's just slowly seeping into my life."

"And you're allowing it to happen. Now, seriously Sophia. I dare you to try and deny the fact that you're in love with Mr. Matthew Cresent - go ahead, try."

Sophia tried.

Sophia failed.
