~Still Sephiroth’s P.O.V~
The sun rose early the next morning. The sun pierced through the tree branches and onto your face. You squinted from the intense raise from the sun. You got up and stretched, the tree was not the most comfortable thing to sleep on. “Oh god my back, stupid damn tree...” You muttered as you kicked the side of the tree. As soon as you had kicked it, 3 large fruits fell on your head. “OH THAT’S GREAT! THIS TREE HAS SOMETHING AGAINST ME DOESN’T IT! YOU’RE LUCKY I DON’T HAVE MY FIRE MATERIA OR I WOULD HAVE BURNT YOU TO THE GROUND!” You yelled, you weren’t a morning person when it came to sleeping outside. Your shouting had scared Elyce; she jumped up and looked around franticly. “What’s...?” “Nothing... shut up!” You snapped back before she could say anything. She gave you a scared look. You sighed with annoyance. “Sorry... I hate sleeping outside on, or in trees.” She kept quite. She looked paler that she did when you had found her with your other half. You didn’t know if it was because of the werewolf bite or the fact she hadn’t eaten or drank anything for a while. You looked down at the fruit that fell on your head, they were apples. At least you could at least give her something to eat. You picked up the apples and dusted off the sand and leaves. “Here eat this... this is most likely the only food there is around here.” You handed it to her and she took it. “Thanks... I am a bit hungry. I think...” She whispered, almost scared to speak. She took a bite and her face screwed up. You took the apple from her and took a bite and spat it out as soon as you tasted it. “Great it’s sour!” You picked up another apple and took a bit, it tasted even worse. You chucked the apple and picked up another one. You took a bite, it was sour too, but not as sour as the other two. You gave it to Elyce. “Here this one isn’t so bad.” She took it from you and took a bite. She took 3 bites and handed it back to you. “I’m not hungry...” She said sadly. You looked at her with suspicion. “Elyce... You haven’t eaten for a while, how the hell can you NOT BE HUNGRY!” You yelled at her. She flinched at the sound of your voice. Tears appeared in her eyes. “I’m sorry...” She whispered. You were getting annoyed. Her personality had changed overnight. The wind started to blow and it picked up sand covering the apple. You through the apple away know that neither she nor you would eat it after having that much sand on it.
~Elyce’s P.O.V~
You watched him throw the apple away. “Elyce... what’s with the sudden personality change huh?” You knew that question was coming, but you felt scared about telling him why. You felt scared about telling him about your dream, and how your stomach pains felt worse and worse every day, you also felt light headed, as if you were going to faint. “Sephiroth...” You whispered. “I’ve been feeling really, really sick... my stomach hurts more and more every day. I’ve been feeling like I’m going to faint, and I had a dream last night... a dream about...” You froze, you didn’t want to remember your dream, even thought it had happened to you. Sephiroth frowned. “Well, what was it about!?” You saw some concern in his eyes, but you also saw mostly anger. “You promise not to get angry?” You asked stupidly, know full well that even if he said yes, he still would. “Depends on what it is...” You saw a little bit more concern in his eyes. You decided that you would tell him. “My dream was about... what your other half had done to me... almost like a flash back... I saw what he did... and I felt scared. I saw every Detail as if it was happening again. I was so scared and terrified.” You waited for him to insult you and call you stupid, but he didn’t. He walked closer to you and kneeled in front of you. “Elyce... why would I get mad at you for saying something like that...” You could tell that he was trying to hide his annoyance. You closed your eyes. “I was scared... I thought you would call me...” “No... I’m not that cruel. Elyce you should tell me these things alright...” As soon as he said that, you remembered that Talamira had a similar problem and something in his mind must have told him how to handle the situation. “… I don’t know if telling me would make a difference, but you should tell someone alright.” You heard a bit of anger in his voice when he said ‘alright’ but you could understand that. You nodded. “Ok… thanks for listening I guess.” He sighed and cupped your face. “Elyce, Elyce, Elyce what am I going to do with you?” “Kill me…” You answered automatically. “Oh don’t tempt me sweat heart.” He replied. Your heart sank; you were starting to think he was actually starting to care. “I was kidding.” He added a few seconds after what he said. You opened your eyes at looked at him. He had a smirk on his face. “So what’s actually wrong with your stomach?” You shrugged, you weren’t actually sure if it was your stomach.
You sat down as pain surged through your body. Sephiroth leaned forward and put his hand against your forehead. He closed his eyes, trying to sense what was wrong. He moved his hand, it moved down your face then to your chest. His hand stopped. His eyes were still closed; you had no idea what he was doing. He moved his hand again, this time it stopped were your bellybutton was. “I don’t think it’s your stomach that’s giving you the pain.” You freaked out, what if it was your ‘time of the month’ pain, you hadn’t been keeping track, and maybe Sephy had gotten you pregnant. “You don’t think he got me pr...” “No it’s not that... You wouldn’t be in pain if it was that...” He whispered. You sighed with relief; you didn’t want to have that bastard’s child. “Then what could it be?” You asked weakly. “I have a weird feeling... your bleeding internally.” He looked up at you wondering how you could take it. “I guess that’s why I’ve been feeling light headed... I’ve been losing blood.” You said sadly trying not to cry. You felt Sephiroth take your hand. “Elyce, don’t worry ok... When we get back I’ll heal you.” You shook your head, you didn’t believe that.
~Sephiroth P.O.V~
You were a bit annoyed that she was refusing to let you heal her. You didn’t hate her THAT much that you wanted to see her suffer like she was. You decided that you would do everything you could to help her, for your own sanity and her’s. You didn’t want her cry all the way back home and will herself to die. You reluctantly pulled her into a tight hug. “Elyce... I will heal you if you like it or not OK!!?” She didn’t reply, but you felt her relax in your arms. You were glad you managed to get her to relax, even though you hated this sort of thing, or that’s what you forced yourself to believe. “Alright Elyce, let’s get moving.” You helped her up. You let go of her and started to walk away. You heard her call out your name lightly. You turned just as she grabbed you arm. “I... don’t want to walk alone.” she sobbed. You sighed again; it was going to be a long day.
