[ONE] I, My, Me! [Katekyo Hitman Reborn]

This is really just an introduction to things, to explain the insanity and sadisticness that happens in Ruru's family that made her turn out to be so screwed up O_o So Ruru and the story won't really get started until the next installment, but hopefully this will be amusing enough ^_^~! I'd like to hear from the readers out there, too! Am I doing a good job with this or does it totally suck?!

I, My, Me!

Intro to the Insane Family

~

The perfume and smoke-filled, semi-dark room was filled with soft feminine giggles and deep, masculine chuckles. The only man in the room sat at his large desk that was cluttered with papers and the like, as well as the source of the smoke. He brought the cancer stick to his lips and inhaled deeply before releasing the smoke through his large lips. Now, the man himself was not in the best of shape and probably shouldn’t have been smoking, as his eldest daughter had warned him, but he did despite that…

The entire room reeked of a harem, which was the type of atmosphere that man particularly preferred, despite the fact that he had a wife.

It was a well-known fact that the shrewd Furude Shinosuke was an eternal lover of women even when he was happily married, especially due to the fact that he had a whopping number of fourteen heirs, most of which in their younger years.

ANATA.

The well-polished oak wood door to his personal office was thrown open, nearly off of its own hinges, and a strict, dangerous-looking woman with dark hair wound into a bun stomped into the dark space, carrying something relatively corpse-like in her wake.

The aging man immediately spit out his cigarette(after nearly swallowing it in surprise) and paused the sparkly shoujo anime he was watching on his large plasma-screen television before turning to the woman with bugged out, fearful round eyes and a grimace. “S-Sayu-chan!” He was immediately on the floor before the woman, bowing with his forehead nearly pressed against the carpet and his large body straining against his finely-tailored white suit.

The dark-haired woman stared down at her husband with a severely annoyed expression warping her ageless face before she kicked him with her gray, leather pumps, sending him back towards his desk.

…it wasn’t to say that all of his children hadn’t come from the same, fearsome woman he’d married. She’d never allow him to see anyone else, unless he had a deathwish.

Despite the fact that he was the one who came from the crime-running side of the family, the woman named Sayu took care of most of their sordid underground affairs. She was the sole supporter of their operations. He was just the figurehead.

She dragged what she was carrying towards her husband’s sitting, trembling form and held out a pristinely folded piece of paper.

Shinosuke took one look at the young person she was dragging by the ankles and blanched considerably. “A-a-anata, d-don’t you think you went a little o-overboard with him…?”

“Don’t worry about this useless waste-of-space kid and read that.” She barked, one hand on her hip to show authority. Her glasses glared dangerously in the dark room, hiding her dark gaze, but only serving to make her seem more intimidating.

The man immediately took the paper and began reading, obediently. He didn’t want to incite his honey’s hellish harpy rage...

Shinosuke slowly stood up after finishing the last line written on the page. He ran a large hand over his face contemplatively. “...Ah, so he’s calling in his favor now? I’m not surprised; I’ve been expecting it.”

Sayu dropped the young boy to the ground and took the paper from the man’s hand. Shinosuke sent a weary glance at their unconscious son. “It seems he’s training the soon-to-be Tenth Vongola Boss.” She spoke, crossing her arms. “Who do you think we should send for this job?” There was a twinkle in her eyes that dared him to go against who she had in mind.

And he knew better than to do something like that. “A-ah, well, I think I know the perfect one! I-I’ll send out an e-mail to her right now!” He was immediately behind his desk, in front of his laptop.

A scarily pleased smile twisted his wife’s face.
