"Gabi!" I whined, scrunching my face as if I was crying.
"Winter!" She squeeled right back at me. Her hand twitched next to mine.
"Go get food, I'm hungry."
I heard her crazily laugh, and felt a mass being thrown at my stomach. Picking up the bag, I had discovered a bundle of goldfish.
"Yay!" I said, still sprawled all over the backseat of Gabi's minivan. We weren't doing anything particular, just being incredibly bored.
Next to me, Gabi reached into her camera bag, and whipped out her video camera. "Let's document." She stated, while hitting the bright red record button.
"Document what, my amazing chewing skills?" I asked, laughing with a mouthful of food.
"Sure. Anything, really. Life's pretty awesome, we should appreciate every second we have together." Gabi looked up from taping me, and smiled to reaveal lots of crooked teeth.
She had been videotaping since the fourth grade. She loved it, and let me tell you, she had a hell of a Youtube life.
Just then, my phone started ringing.

Gabi had turned the camera around, and recorded the two of us singing long.
"We're dorks!" I said, before flipping open my pink Motorola Razr. I didn't bother to check my Caller ID.
"Hello?" I spoke into the reciever, Gabi videotaping me. I was still laying down on the seat.
"What's the best season, nationwide?" I heard a familiar male voice on the other line.
I shot straight up.
That was the beginning line of a rap that Joe, Nick, and I had made up, while we were waiting for Kevin to come and give us a ride.
I was on the phone with my old friend, Nick Jonas.
"Keep tellin' me boy, I'm on your side." I was smiling x20 by now.
I heard Joe's voice come over the phone. "The ice is cold, but she is hot!" Nick was laughing in the background, Joe must have been making his rapping face like he always had. My heart ached for them to come back home to New Jersey. I missed them.
I had to continue the rap. "Shut you mouth, that ain't your spot!"
"GOOOD AFTERNOON WINTER!!" Joe and Nick shouted together.
I laughed, and smiled wider. "Guys! I haven't heard for you in months, what's up?"
"We have a surprise for you." Joe said.
