[..2..] Winter Wonderland {A Jonas Brothers Fanfiction}
A less boring chapter...or is it?"Who is it?" Gabi asked, puzzled. I put my finger in the air, as if to say hold on. "Oh really?" I questioned, feeling slightly amused. "Believe it." Nick said, making me laugh. "But first, we need a favour." That was Kevin. "Kev-Kev!" I heard loud laughter that didn't belong to my boys. "Who-" I started, cut off by Kevin. "Sing something. Try something from a Disney movie." Towards the end, he started to chuckle. I was a bit confused, but the first thing that came to mind was "Who Will I Be" from Camp Rock...and I started to sing. "Who will I be? It's up to me All the never - ending possibilities That I can see There's nothing that I can't do." "Keep going." This from Joe. "Who will I be? Yes, I believe I get to make the future what I want to If I can becom anyone and know the choice is up to me... Who will I be?" Silence. Applause and cheering. More silence. "She's got it." I heard an older voice say. "Winter. Guess what." Nick said. "You finally straightlaced those old skateboard shoes of yours?" An inside joke of ours. We went to the mall one day, for his birthday. He had just turned eleven, I was thirteen, Joe was fourteen, and Kevin was sixteen. The latest trend? Skateboard shoes. Joe and I tried to convince him they looked best straightlaced. Nick, however, disagreed. Everytime he wore them, I begged him to let me lace them. He insisted otherwise. Kevin laughed at the joke. "No...and I threw those shoes out years ago." Nick sounded pleased. "Okay, let's not talk about shoes, and get back to the subject." Kevin added, still laughing. "Okay, Winter, here's the deal. You just auditioned over the phone to be a part of the Disney Family, which, I might add, is listening to this phone conversation, as well as Gary Marsh, the president of everything Disney. And you've just made it." Joe interripted. "Way to be subtle, Joe." Nick smacked him. There was a moments silence, in which no one said anything. I glared into the camera which Gabi was still aiming at me. "Nice going, dude, she hung up!" I heard Kevin, and yet another smack of skin on skin. "I don't believe you." I finally said. "You don't?" Nick asked, sounding seriously perplexed. "Give me the phone." A faint girl's voice. To my knowledge, the phone was handed over, givin the amount of white noise and scraping. "Hey Winter, this is Selena Gomez." She spoke. "And Demi Lovato! What's up?" A second person. It really was Selena and Demi. I screamed. I couldn't help it. "Agh! God, Wint! Give it a rest." Gabi whispered, still recording of course. She got the finger again. "Oh my goodness! You're kidding!" I freaked. "No, we're not. And we're coming home tomorrow to pick you up." Joe said. "I get to see you, too? No way! This day just keeps getting better and better!" I was practically dancing in my seat. I get to see my best friends AND be a part of Disney...all in one day. All three of them laughed at me. "We've missed you...too?" Joe. "Yay!" "Yeah, we'll come and get you and your Mum tomorrow at three...at your place. You still live on Honeyberry?" Kevin again. He was always the mature one...with Nick following close behind. "Yeah...umm...Can I ask you a favour?" They had to let me. There was no way I could live if they didn't. "Depends." Joe slurred, nearly whispering. I took it I was off speakerphone. "I have two friends - sisters, even. And...they mean the world to me, and I know it would mean the world to them if I brought them with me." Gabi was hopelessly confused, but she tried to hide it with a smile. She gave me the thumbs up. I returned the gesture. She giggled, and turned her attention back to her camera. "Umm, one sec." Joe said. I could hear him talking faintly in the background. "Yeah, we can bring your friends." Nick stold the phone. Joe took it back. "Are your friends hot?" he asked. My jaw dropped, and someone smacked him again. "Joe!" Kevin shouted. "I'm taking your phone, and you can have it back when you learn to handle advanced Apple electronics responsibly." Nick was hilariously laughing as well as myself, while Joe was arguing for his iPhone back. "Alright, Winterberry, see you tomorrow." Kevin said. "G'night." "Night Night, Kev-Kev. Tomorrow." And with that, I hung up. "What's going on? Gabi asked, refusing to pause. She set the camera down, and I took her hands. "You're never gonna believe me...but something's happened, and I want you to come with me.
