I sighed and within seconds I was being slammed against a wall. I held in a cry. Being rammed against a solid oak wall panel hurts like hell. I glared at him and tried to push him off me which I managed and I picked up a bust close to be and whacked him across the back of the head. Once again he was down. I took off running and ran straight out to my car.
The car sped off gravel shooting out from underneath the wheels. I was going way over the speed limit but anything to get me away from the mad vampire out for my blood. I pulled up in front of my apartment and ran straight in. I rushed around locking every door window anything that locked. I switched off the main lights, put on a small lamp and closed my heavy curtains. This was a bit extreme but I wasn’t going to be found.
‘Come out Come out where ever you are Morgana. You can’t hide forever’
His voice echoed all around my head and the walls of my apartment and then a banging came from my front door. I backed up from it and then I heard Marius’s voice come through the door.
“Morgana let me in if you don’t Lestat will find me here.” I couldn’t risk it I flung the door open and dragged him in. “You have to hide, you have to go some where far away from here.”
“No! I Will Not! This Is My Home!” I had finally snapped it had been months of this hanging over me I had finally got over it and I hadn’t seen Becca since she left to visit her father. I wasn’t going to now be forced out of my home by some stuck up little git like him.
“Please you cannot stay here its too dangerous.” As soon as he had finished his sentence my front door flew open and I was on my back. The weight was pulled off me and Marius was pulling me up. He pulled me out to the street and we we in his car. I gripped the seat as we flew down the street it took quite a lot of slef control to stop myself from screaming out loud.
“Where are we going?” I screamed
“Away from Lestat! You, have got on the wrong side of the wrong vampire my dear. Almost anywhere you go will not be safe.”
I banged my head off the head rest on the chair and groan slightly. I was being chased by one vampire and being flung around in a car of another, I had no idea what was going on shouldn’t they both have been trying to kill me.
“I don’t want to kill you, I have no reason to. Lestat on the other seems to like to hold grudges against people that hit him over the head with busts that are from his own home.”
It was obvious he had read my mind so I didn’t make an issue over it. I was going to die no matter what this guy did but at least I’d be getting a ride in a really cool car before I did. I wasn’t one hundred percent cetain where I was being taken and I wasn’t sure I really wanted to know. My mind began to wander as I watched the scenery fly passed. I was pulled rudly out of my mind when something rather large hit the top of the car. I looked up and then over at my vampire driver things are not good when a vampire is scared. He swerved and what ever was on top of the car flew to the back, I spun my head to face it and saw Lestat on the back of the car.
“Fuck! I am going to die,” I looked at Marius, “if I’m going to die can I die in a bed or something I don’t like the idea of dieing outside. To natural.”
He laughed and put his foot down, we were definatly not going to speed limit any more. We flew round corners put Lestat the persistant bugger wouldn’t let go. We pulled up outside one place I wished to never be again, Lestat’s house. Flash backs from that night came back and my hands started to sweat. My wall was breaking and I wasn’t to happy about that, I was scared, extremly scared.
Marius pulled me out of the car and I was inside the house in seconds, I had no idea what happened but it was cool. When I turned around Lestat was right in front of me, I knew this wasn’t going to be quick or painless. I was going to suffer and a lot.
