Did you read the memo? *pout*
Uh...no? *sweatdrop*
Yes. =3 I'm a good child. (Indeed you are. ^^)
On with the story, then!
You blinked, looking around the room you had been given. It wasn't anything spectacular - a ramshackle bed with sheets that needed to be washed, a dresser, a small table with two chairs, and a desk with one chair in the corner, next to a window (there was another right above your bed). You turned back to the girl that had led you up here - Marta, her name was - and gave her your thanks once again.
"So, that man Greed," You started, testing the bed with your hand before cautiously sitting on it, "He said he had a job for me. What is it?"
"You'll have to talk to him about that, but I'm pretty sure hes just looking for more people to help his cause." She responded, walking over to stand by the bed.
"His cause?" Marta nodded and took a seat next to you, then began to explain the reason they were all gathered together here.
"The military," You began, your gaze cast at the floor, a thoughtful look on your face, "I knew they'd done some awful things, but I didnt think they could do anything that horrible. I'm sorry, Marta."
Poor Marta! (I know, it's really sad what happened to her, Dorchette and Law. ; ;'')
"Don't worry about it, well get our revenge. Thats why were here, after all," She smiled and put a hand on your shoulder. "Anyway, I suppose I should get going. Dinner's at six, so don't be late. It's casual, so don't worry about having to dress up or anything. There's a bathroom with a shower if you want to clean up, and I packed the dresser with some clothes for you to choose from if you want to get out of those old rags."
She flashed you another smile, then left quickly, closing the door softly behind her. You looked around again, then down at yourself, examining your dirty clothes. 'I suppose I really should get cleaned up before dinner.' You glanced at a small clock situated upon the desk that read five o'clock. You had an hour.
Picking yourself up from your seat on the bed, you walked over to the dresser and opened the first drawer, finding it full of shirts. Picking one up and pulling it out, you examined it for a moment, then stuffed it back into the drawer unceremoniously. You searched the drawer a moment longer, until you found a red and black-striped shirt with split-shouldered arms (there are straps like a tank top, then the arms of the sleeves). Nodding in satisfaction, you folded the shirt and placed it atop the dresser, then closed the drawer. You pulled open the second to find it full of pants. Finding a pair of plain black pants with random chains adorning the side, and a bloody wolf print on the right back pocket, you proclaimed yourself satisfied, then picked up your clothes and left in search of the bathroom.
The bathroom was right down the hall, and you were glad to find it unoccupied. You took a hard look in the mirror, disgusted at the way you looked. You pulled off your glasses and rested them on the sink, deciding to clean and fix them once you were out of the shower.
After a small search, you found a towel, then quickly showered, keen to be ready in time for dinner.
Once dressed, you found there was a hairbrush sitting on the sink - you figured it was Marta's - so you began fixing your out-of-place hair. You satisfied yourself with brushing it back but leaving it down and allowing your bangs to hang around your face. Now the hard part - fixing your glasses. You picked them up and gave them a long look before you set to work bending and twisting the frames, attempting to get them back into shape.
After a ten-minute fight with your glasses, you emerged victorious and quickly cleaned them with your towel, before replacing them on your face and exiting the bathroom.
Back in your room, you found that the clock read five fifty-six. 'Four minutes,' You thought, glancing about the room. You saw a pair of boots next to the door, and remembering the fact that you were indeed very bare-footed, quickly pulled them on before heading back out of your room.
You saw karate-gi man - Marta had called him Dorchette earlier, but you much preferred your little nickname - headed down the hall, and recognizing that he was headed to dinner, you silently followed, a soft smile on your face.
Yay! I can't wait! ^^ (Was it long enough? o.o; I do hope so.) It was. *huggles Miya* (^^;; Thanks.)
o_o; Mmkay, that was alright, just make sure you let me when part four is out. (All you have to do is message me, and I'll tell you when the next part comes out. =3)

Sorry I haven't updated, folks, but I do have a good reason! I missed two weeks of school (these past two weeks) because I've been really sick, so all this week I've been making up the work that I missed, not to mention the fact that my internet went down two weeks ago and I only just got it back last night. Thanks to everyone who rated and messaged for the last two parts! ^_^ Don't forget to rate and message again! Love ya!Did you like this story? Make one of your own!
