You walked into the main arena, ready to watch the duel between Jesse and Jaden. You would be rooting for Jaden to win, obviously although you couldn't help have a part of you wanting Jesse to win too.
Spotting Syrus sitting beside Hasselberry up a few blocks you grinned and ran up to join them, sitting beside Syrus.
"Hey Ali, where did you go?" he asked.
"Oh, I was just sitting on the beach." you said, not wanting to say much more.
"Sitting on the beach with a guy" a new voice said as you turned and saw Atticus standing there, his sister Alexis standing beside him.
"A boy?" Alexis said disbelievingly, "What boy would be sitting with you, Syrus?" she asked.
Ohh I hate her so much you thought, glaring at the blonde Obelisk.
"No, it wasn't Syrus, it was one of the transfer students, Jesse or something" he said, continuing to grin at you, sliding into the spare seat beside you. You had a faint blush on your cheeks, lowering your head so no one could see your face.
"Why would he want to sit on the beach with you?" Alexis said as she sat beside her brother, you all getting ready to watch the upcoming duel.
"There's Jaden!" Alexis said, smiling brightly, it was so obvious she liked him you thought, feeling something well up inside you, what was it?
I can't be jealous, I don't even like Jaden like that, you tried to tell yourself as you shook it off and raised a hand to wave at the young boy in red who was waving manically in your direction.
Jesse was standing calm and collected opposite Jaden, he saw you staring at him and winked, grinning before turning to Jaden.
"Jesse, you're a nice guy but I'm not gonna go easy on you. That's not how I roll"
"Of course, I wouldn't expect anything less from Jaden Yuki, So as they say 'let the best duellist win'"
"Don't worry, I will" you chuckled quietly at Jaden's overconfidence, but you weren't so sure, I mean if what Chazz had said was true, Jesse was a pretty hard guy to beat with his Crystal Beasts, which you were dying to see. Jaden claimed to have already seen his 'Ruby Carbuncle" but you weren't so sure, apparently it was the duel spirit, which no one else seemed to be able to see. Strangely enough, you believed him.
"Game on" both boys took their cards and began to duel, Syrus cheering beside you.
Fast forward through the duel, since I can't write decent duels out to save my life, and you've all probably watched it and seen that Jaden wins ^_^
Aster Phoenix had turned up halfway through the duel, telling us more about Jesse and his cards, you sighed as you saw both boys laughing together, arms over each others shoulders, you rolled your eyes, smiling as you ran down to congratulate both of them, giving them both hugs, you felt Jesse hold on to you for slightly longer as you tried to pull away as your cheeks turned the pink colour they had earlier.
Jaden and Jesse went off together and you smiled, it looked like they were going to be the best of friends. Syrus looked slightly downtrodden as you smiled and put your arm around his shoulders.
"Cheer up, Sy." you said as you began to walk out of the arena, going off to find Jaden and Jesse.
Finding them seated together, discussing their new cards.
Syrus' eyes widened "They're twins"
"Ain't that cute?" Hasselberry smirked
"Two Jaden's"
"Oh well. It could be worse, at least Chazz doesn't have a twin,” Aster said as he began to walk away, as you spluttered out laughing your head off.
"Hey, what the hell are you laughing at?" Chazz said, glaring at you.
"Oh c'mon Chazz, you got to admit that was pretty hilarious" you smirked at the young boy, who 'hmphed' and turned away, arms crossed.
Rolling your eyes, you called the two boys over "C'mon you two, we're gonna go raid Chazz's new dorm room" you smirked.
"New dorm?" Jaden asked, "Yeah, he just got it made, since he decided he's 'too good' for Obelisk" you smiled.
"Sounds good" Jesse said, again looking towards you, as you all began to walk towards Chazz's dorm room, much to his distaste.
"And I swear, if you touch anything Yuki!" he said, as we all sprawled ourselves on top of his couch, turning his wide screen television on to a film, *Insert scary horror film here* [I would name one, but not many horror films have scared me, so something that scares me probably wont scare you? I don't know ^_^]
"Oh great, I love this film,” Hasselberry said grinning, and going off to Chazz's kitchen, obviously hoping to find some popcorn.
You exchanged glances with Syrus, who looked just as hesitant to watch this film as you did, you remembered this film, and you hated it. Which was strange cause you were a big fan of horror films.
Shuffling slightly you tried to act neutral and continued to watch the film, until unexpectedly something jumped out on the screen and you jumped, emitting a quiet 'eep' as you jumped again, feeling someone's arm go around your shoulders. You looked your right and saw Jesse sitting beside you, his arm now around your trembling shoulders.
Oh my gosh.... What do I do? What do I do? His arm is around me, what do I do? Okay…Okay…breathe… I can’t breathe his arm is around me!
Inside you were freaking out, as Jesse turned towards you and whispered in your ear "Are you okay?"
You weren't so sure, feeling a small ounce of confidence well up inside you, you leaned into his side slightly, placing your head against his shoulder slightly before replying.
"I'm fine."
Jesse said nothing else, but offered you a carefree smile, which you returned before turning back to the film, oddly enough not as scared as you were before.
Unaware of the pair of eyes that were watching you closely, glaring at the male beside you.

I still haven't worked out why there's always the last few lines of the stories that are bigger fonts. It's really irritating because I've like made sure the body of the text is the right size and everything, yet it still happens.
Reinforces why I hate the new quizilla even more.
Two of my lemon's were also deleted by quizilla because on the new quizilla they don't have the rating system, therefore they can delete anything they deem not family friendly. Even though there is an age limit to access this site at 13 [or at least there used to be when I joined in 2004] so technically at 13 they could use their discretion and if they don't want to read a story, or think it contains stuff that isn't suitable for them, they don't have to read it. Just go on to the link below about ponies or something? Just like I don't wanna read a story about Twilight so I'm not going to click it. It's pathetic, and I can now see why some of my close friends have left this site after having had enough with it.
//Rant. Haha sorry about that.
Anyway I hope you enjoyed it, despite how short and boring it was, and the next one will be out soon, with hopefully a lot more romance in it :3
