Tom's hand firmly clasped Mary's as they practically ran through the house and up the stairs. After looking in several occupied rooms, they found one that was empty. They hurried inside and locked the door behind them.

Mary reached for the light switch and illuminated the room. They would only assume it was an unused guest room, a bed simply stood in the middle of the room and other furniture were draped in white sheets, it looked like a room out of a haunted house.

"A little creepy in here, isn't it?" Tom whispered into her ear, sending chills down her spine.

She turned to face him and looked up into his green eyes, "I'm not planning on paying much attention to the room." She said in a voice as sultry as she could muster. She walked over to the bed and laid down on it, beckoning with one finger to come join her.

He turned back to the light switch and turned the lights off, plunging the room into ear complete darkness before feeling his way over to the bed where Mary was waiting for him. He kicked off his shoes, sending them to join Mary's flats on the floor beside the bed.

Before he had a chance to assess the situation, Mary's warm lips were back on his, kissing him with near-desperate need. He pushed her away a little bit, feeling that if maybe he checked one more time, the nagging voice in his head would finally be silenced.

"Mare..."

"Tom. I'm fine, really. Please stop asking me and just enjoy this." She said before she had a chance to finish his statement.

That was all the reassurance that he needed before leaning down and kissing her once more. Their lips together sent a fire through him, a feeling he had been waiting for for a long time. After years of slowly falling for his best friend, he was finally able to truly be with the girl he loved.

Her tongue ran it's way along Tom's bottom lip and it didn't take much more coaxing for him to part his lips and let her enter his mouth. As they kissed, his hand made its way from it's resting place on her hip up until it was gently resting on her breast. He squeezed down gently, earning a soft moan from Mary.

"Tom" she said in a husky voice, a cross between desire and drunkenness; goading him on.

Their clothes were lost in a whirlwind that neither of them truly understood. Tom hovered over her, drinking in the sight of her naked body and smiling down at her. "Mary. I've-"

"I know." She said back in a soft voice, "I've wanted this too. I'm ready."

With that he thrust into her, earning a gasp from both of them. They moved together, perfectly in sync until they both felt their releases nearing.

"Tom...Tom...Tom" She gasped out, not being able to think of anything else to say in her current situation.

One last thrust was all it took to send them both over the edge. He collapsed beside her, both of them heaving and sweat covered. She moved close to him and he wrapped his arms around her, holding her close with no intentions of letting her get away.

"Mary...I lo-" He started, but staring down at the sleeping girl in his arms made him stop. He pulled her closer one last time and breathed in the scent of her strawberry shampoo.

"I love you" he whispered softly in her ear before letting him fall asleep alongside her.
