Nothing interesting really happened all week.

I would take my classes (Some of which were with Amelia and Lydia), sit with Amelia and Lydia at lunch and then after classes I would hang out in their room until lights out, to avoid the awkwardness in my dorm.

But this dullness all ended the following Monday, just before lunch.

“Would students Samantha Stevens, Kimiko Suuan and Alice Baker please report to the principal’s office immediately” came from the loudspeaker.

Since I had this class alone, the other students turned to me as an accusing ‘Ooooh’ sounded from them.

I got up quietly as the teacher glared slightly and motioned me out of the room with a nod of his head.

Each step I took brought me closer to the principals office.

Each step made questions arise in my head.

Why was I even called to the principals office?

I didn’t do anything wrong and I’ve been going to almost everyone of my detentions.

I inhaled deeply as I rose my hand to the principals door and knock lightly.

“Come in” I heard a sharp tone instruct me.

I enter the room to see three chairs in front of the principals desk, two already occupied by Kim and Sam, who didn’t seem to acknowledge the fact I had even entered the room.

I sat down in the last royal blue suede chair, the principal cleared her throat.

“A certain incident was reported to me on Saturday night from the principal of Dawson boys,” She started, pulling out a file from her drawer and flicking through it.

I honestly had no idea what she was on about.

She pulled out some pictures and threw them on the desk.

I gasp unconsciously and I swear I saw Kim’s eyes widen from the corner of my eye.

There were 5 pictures in total, they were of five separate boys dorms and they were completely…

trashed

And apparently the principal received an anonymous tip off that it was the three of us that caused this chaos, also that Sam was the apparent ‘leader’ of this operation.

“What I would like to know is where you girls were on Saturday at noon?”

“We didn’t do anything” Sam muttered.

“Well unless someone tells me who did this, the two of you,” she pointed at Kim and I “Will have a year of detention and you,” she then pointed at Sam “Will be expelled!”

Sam’s jaw abruptly dropped.

“Miss, we had nothing to do with this, Sam did nothing” I exclaimed

The principal glared at me for raising my voice and Sam looked shocked that I had stood up for her.

“Well then, who did this, huh?”

I thought about my answer for a moment, if I didn’t say the right thing, it would mean even more detention.

“I can’t answer that,” I said “but I swear it wasn’t us”

Kim nodded vigorously, Sam stayed silent.

The principal looked at each of us with a hard stare.

“Fine, but if I find out it was the three of you, you’ll all be thrown out of this school,” She stated “Dismissed”

We all went to leave but Miss. Andrews spoke again.

“Alice, you stay”

Kim threw me a sympathetic look as she scurried out after Sam.

I turned to face the principal

“You seem to get yourself into a lot of trouble, I’m starting to wonder if I was wrong about your place in this school” She said, a frown clear on her face.

I visibly paled and she sighed.

“Please, just don’t so anything else to make me regret my decision”

I nodded, feeling guilty, then abruptly left the room.

As I left I was greeted by the sight of Sam leaning against the wall, waiting. Kim was nowhere in sight.

“Alice” She spoke.

I ignored her and continued making my way down the hall.

“Alice!”

I stopped in my tracks to hear what she had to say.

“I…” She started, then stopped and rethought her words.

“Thank-you” She finally said.

I moved my head slightly over my shoulder, to look at her out of the corner of my eye.

She looked as though she wanted to say more, but I was pretty sure I didn’t want to hear it.

I turned my head back around and continued walking. Not once looking back.

As I continued walking, I eventually found Lydia and Amelia.

“Hey” I said softly to them.

They were quiet for a few moments.

“We heard about what happened at Dawson Boys” Lydia told me.

I frowned.

“We know who blamed you, and I think you have a pretty good idea of who it was too” Said Amelia.

Something then clicked in my head and I scowled.

“Kate” I stated, malice dripping from my words.

Lydia nodded.

Amelia smirked.

“The last time something along the lines of this happened was a while ago,” She smiled “Finally, something to lighten things up”

She looked at Lydia knowingly and they both seemed to know what was going on.

“I don’t get it?” I told them.

Little did I know, this was the start of another school war.
