Olympia High
Hooray for Greek Gods!Author's Note: “Welcome, students, to the first day of the new year at Olympia High School! I’m Mrs. Petron, your principal. I expect this year to be as wonderful as last year. I want each and everyone of you to behave!” said the principal as she gave the students a short lecture. The students exited the gymnasium and went to the auditorium until the bell rang. “You bet! I can’t wait to try out for archery! What are you gonna do?” Artemis asked her twin. “Maybe music? I’ve taken a liking to the lyre, but I dunno…” “You should do whatever you want. Just stick with it. Ok?” Arty said to Apollo. He nodded and they sat in the two seats they were in front of. “Hey Dio! How’s it been?” asked Hermes. “It’s been so boring, I haven’t been able to have any parties all summer! And my mom threw out all the wine, this summer was so bland.” said Dionysus, sighing. He looked around for a few seconds. “Hey!!!” yelled Hermes suddenly. “What?!” “Did your hair get longer?” “Ha ha, yes it did.” laughed Dionysus. The two buddies walked off to find two seats together. “And I’m Apollo!” “We’re twins!” they said together. Aphrodite giggled; these twins were cute. “I’m Aphrodite.” she said in her soft voice that reminded Artemis of silk. “Well, Aphrodite, you’re really pretty!” said Arty. “Yeah, you’re like, beautiful! You’ll get popular real quick.” said Apollo. Aphrodite blushed. “Come on in, Hephaestus.” said Hades in his low, smooth voice. Hephaestus came in the balcony and sat beside Hades. “Who are you looking at?” asked Hephaestus. “A freshman.” “What’s her name?” “I heard someone call her ‘Persephone’.” “That’s a pretty name.” “Indeed.” There was silence for an minute. Hades brushed his onyx bangs out of his face, revealing his onyx eyes, his lids covered in black eyeliner. “Oh, wow, look at her!” said Hephaestus. “Who?” “That girl talking to those twins…” “Her?” “Yeah…” “That’s Aphrodite. Hera’s cousin.” “She’s beautiful.” “Fine! Just don’t come crying to me when your teacher yells at you for cheating.” said Athena as she leaned up against a composite column. “Whatever… so… senior year. I can’t believe 4 years went that fast.” “Me either. It’s like we didn’t even have sophomore and junior years. Just went from freshman to senior.” “Yeah. Hey, remember that part we had freshman year?” “I was table dancing and drunk off Dio’s wine. How could I forget?” said Athena, glaring at her brother. “Yes, Demeter?” “I was wondering… could I change to a different class?” “Why?” “Because last year, there were people in my class who beat me because I worked in the wheat fields so long. They said I was a hick and they punched me. Those same people are in my class this year.” “But of course! I’ll get you a new schedule right away.” said Mrs. Petron, scurrying off. Demeter sighed from relief. “Oooh, Zeus, can I feel your muscles?” “Zeus, I want to have your babies!” The school Prima Uomo was walking to a seat, only to be surrounded by adoring girls. “Ladies, calm down, and no, I’m not giving anyone my sperm.” he said and flopped into an open seat. The girls sighed and walked away. “K-Khaos!” said Ephialtez suddenly. “Yes, Ephie?” asked Khaos softly. “Who is that?” asked Ephialtez. “Oh, him? That’s Moros. He’s going to be the god of Doom after graduation.” said Erebus, laughing. “Moros…” said Ephialtez quietly as he blushed softly. “Hemera.” she said, blushing gently. “I’m Kaldz.” “Kaldz? As in Kaldz Oneiro?” “Yes. Why?” “You and Ephialtez are the Dream Brothers! I love your art, it makes me warm and fuzzy inside.” said Hemera. Kaldz smiled and laughed. Suddenly the bell rang and all the students scrambled to their 1st period class.
Hi, guys. I wanna thank you for reading this. I randomly made this up in the middle of the night. Now, some of you may notice some changes in the Greek mythology story line in my story. Well, I changed it up a bit. I made all the gods high school age, and Artemis and Apollo are now the youngest instead of the oldest. And I made a few goth and a few gay. Oh well, you'll have to deal with it. :D
“Well, Arty, it’s our first day at Olympia! Are you excited or what?” asked Apollo to his twin sister, Artemis.
“Hermy!!!” he yelled, waving at his friend from last year. Hermes turned around and flew over to his best friend.
Aphrodite sighed as she sat down in a lone seat in the middle of the auditorium. No one was talking to her. No wonder; she was just a freshman. She knew no one. She clunked her combat boots together and held her notebook to her chest. Her golden hair fell down in her face. “Hey, are you a freshman too?” she heard a perky voice ask. She looked up-- there were two hyper looking freshmen in front of her. She nodded. “Sweet, we’re not alone!” the female chuckled. “Anyway, I’m Artemis, but you can call me Arty.”
A sophomore sat in a seat isolated from everyone else in one of the balconies. He stared at one of the freshmen. She was so beautiful, with her light blonde -almost white- hair, bright blue eyes, and ivory skin. “Hades?” asked a low voice.
“So can you help me with my calculus?!” asked Ares angrily at his sister.
“Mrs. Petron?” asked Demeter softly.
“Oh, Zeus, you’re soo strong!”
Hera walked past a group of black haired people while on her way to sit with her future husband, Zeus. She turned up her nose at the Goths and walked away.
“What a whore…” mumbled Khaos. Erebus nodded into his lover’s chest. Khaos stroked Erebus’s hair gently. Ephialtez sighed as he watched the two boys, wishing he had a lover of his own. His brother, Kaldz, was talking to a girl, smiling and laughing. Why couldn’t he do that? He started looking around at all the students… and suddenly he found the one. It was love at first sight. An Asian face, sleek onyx hair, bright blue eyes.
“So, um… what’s your name?” asked Kaldz quietly.
