“This is Sasuke, I’m at point A.” Sasuke said into the headset.
“This is Sakura, I’m at point B.” Sakura said into her headset.
“….Naruto, I’m at point C.” Naruto said into his headset.
“Naruto, you’re slow. Where’s Aya?” Kakashi said.
“Hey we’re supposed to chase you, not you chase me! Why now?!” I yelled.
“Aya, what’s wrong?” Naruto asked.
“Explain later, just catch the cat.” I said as I jumped into a tree.
“Alright, move in.” Kakashi said. Naruto jumped and caught the cat.
While the cat was clawing Naruto’s face, Sakura was laughing, and Sasuke said, “We have confirmed the ribbon on its ear.”
“Alright, back to the Hokage’s building.” Kakashi said.
“Wait where’s Aya?” Naruto asked.
“Just go, I’ll catch up.” I said from the tree.
“Very well, let’s go.” Kakashi said. Once they were gone, I jumped out of the tree and looked at myself.
“Why did it have to be now?” I whined and headed to the Hokage’s office.
Once I reached the Hokage’s office, I heard Naruto say, “No, no, no, I want a real mission.” I laughed a little, jumped up, turned the door handle, landed on the floor, and walked into the room. Everyone turned and stared at me.
“Sorry I’m late Hokage-sama.” I said.
“The cat can talk! It’s a demon!” Naruto yelled.
“Say one more word Naruto and I will turn into a demon.” I said.
“Wait a minute, Aya?” Sakura asked.
“Yes.” I said.
“Why are you a cat?” Sasuke asked.
“In my village, everyone was part human, part animal and my family was part cat. In my family, when someone reached around my age, they turn into a cat, but I have two problems.” I said.
“What are they?” Sakura asked.
“My body transforms when it wants to and there is only one why I can turn back.” I said and pouted.
“What would that be?” Kakashi asked.
“I have to….be kissed by a guy.” I said. Everyone, except Sasuke laughed.
“Naruto could kiss her.” Sasuke said.
“What!?” I yelled and started blushing.
“Why not? He’s already kissed you once.” Sakura said.
“That was an accident! Would you rather him have fallen and kissed Sasuke like he was going to end up doing?” I said.
“No.” she said. I was distracted and someone picked me up.
“I’ll do it.” said a little boy’s voice.
“Umm Konohamaru, I think you should put Aya down.” Naruto said. I jumped out of Konahamaru’s arms and jumped into someone else’s. “Sorry Aya, but you can kill me after this.” Naruto said and kissed me. I transformed back and was blushing for two reasons. 1, Naruto had just kissed me, again, and 2, I was in Naruto’s arms. He was blushing and said sorry again.
He sat me down and I said, “Its fine, thanks for turning me back and as for you Konohamaru.” I walked up to and punched him in the top of the head. “Don’t do that again!” I yelled and he ran out of the room
“Sorry Hokage-sama, now what were you saying?” Kakashi asked.
“It’s alright, I was explaining why genin can’t have any mission higher than a D rank.” He said and started to explain. While he was explaining, I started to think.
“Why do I feel like that when I’m around Naruto? Could I like him as more than a friend?” I thought.
“Very well, I’ll give you a C-rank escorting mission.” I heard the Hokage say.
“Who are we escorting? A princess, some rich famous person?” Naruto asked.
“No, send him in.” the Hokage said. The door to our left slid open and a man about the same age as the Hokage walked in. He held a bottle of sake in his left hand and he looked drunk.
“Tazuna, the master bridge builder from the Land of Waves. It’s been a while.” I said.
“Eh, do I know you?” he asked.
“My name is Ayami Mikomi.” I said.
“Ah, little Aya! You look like you’ve taken better care of yourself, since I found you.” He said.
“I was only six, I had only been on my own for two years.” I said.
“Yeah, but it was funny to watch you try and steal from us. You were not very quiet or sneaky.” He said and laughed.
“Yeah, but I’m a ninja now and I’m escorting you back to the Land of Waves.” I said.
“You and that half pint ninja are escorting me?” he asked.
Naruto laughed and said, “Who’s the half pint?” Sasuke stood on his right and Sakura stood on his left. Then he realized that Tazuna was talking about him. He was about to run up and punch him, but Kakashi held him back by the collar of his shirt.
“Naruto were supposed to protect him, not kill him.” Kakashi said.
“Fine.” Naruto said.
“Alright, go home, pack what you need, and we’ll meet at the gate in an hour.” Kakashi said and disappeared.
“Let’s go Naruto.” I said and pulled him out of the room. Sakura and Sasuke followed.
“Why are you going with Naruto?” Sakura asked.
“Uhhhh….well….” I said.
“She had no place to stay, so I offered to let her live with me.” Naruto said. Sakura smirked and I disappeared before she could say anything.
An hour later

Naruto’s Point of view
“Alright, is everyone here?” Kakashi asked.
“Aya’s not.” I pointed out.
“Where is she?” Kakashi asked.
“She was leaving just when I got to the house.” I said.
“What? Why would she be leaving your house?” Kakashi asked.
“When she came here, she didn’t have a place to stay, so I offered to let her stay with me.” I said.
“Alright.” Kakashi said.
“Sorry I’m late.” Aya yelled and ran up to us.
“What were you doing?” I asked.
“I was eating ramen and lost track of time. I need to talk to you alone sensei.” She said.
“Alright.” Kakashi said.
“We can talk on the way.” Aya said.
