Kakashi’s point of view
We walked out of the gate and Naruto started cheering.
“What are you so happy about?” Sakura asked.
“This is my first time out of the village.” Naruto said. When we started to walk, Aya walked next to me so we could talk, Tazuna was behind us, then Sakura and Sasuke, and then Naruto was in the back.
“So what is it you wanted to talk about?” I asked Aya.
“The real reason I was late was because I went ahead. I went to see if there were any enemies. I didn’t see any, but I saw something odd.” She said.
“What was it?” I asked.
“There was a puddle of water. It’s odd because it hasn’t rained in days.” She said.
“Create a substitution to stay here and I want you to go ahead and watch for the enemies.” I said.
“Alright.” She said. She created a substitution and disappeared without anyone noticing. Just after she left, I went to the back of the group and we passed a puddle of water. I used the substitution jutsu and hid. Two mist ninja came out of the water and came up behind the group. The one on the left had a glove on his right hand and on the outside there was a chain that connected to the outside of the other ninja’s glove that he had on his left hand. On each glove they had claws that contained poison. They wrapped the chain around my substitution and tore it to shreds.
Naruto’s Point of view
“Sensei!” Sakura and I shouted at the same time.
“Your next.” The two ninjas said and attacked Aya. They wrapped the chains around her and tore her to shreds, just like they did to Kakashi-sensei. “….and your next.” They said and came at me.
“No you don’t.” said Aya’s voice. She jumped in front of me and just before she punched them, they both scratched her arm. They hit a tree after she punched them and Sasuke threw a kunai and pinned them chain to the tree. One ninja broke the chain and went to attack Tazuna, but Kakashi appeared and knocked him out.
“Sensei? Aya?” I asked.
“But we saw you, you were killed.” Sakura said. We looked at were their dead bodies were, but we only saw broken logs.
“Sorry Naruto, I would have helped sooner, but I had to see who they were after. Aya knew they were there so I sent her ahead.” Kakashi said.
Ayami’s Point of view
I walked over to Naruto and asked, “Are you alright?”
He waved his arms up and down and said, “Yeah, I’m just fine.”
“Naruto, Aya, don’t move around too much.” Kakashi said.
“Why?” Naruto asked.
“The ninja’s claws contained poison and we have to drain it before it moves to far into our blood system. Moving around will move it around faster.” I said.
“But I wasn’t hit.” He said.
“They barely hit your left hand.” I said.
“I think we should head back to the village. This isn’t the level mission we signed up for and Naruto’s and Aya’s wounds could cause some problems.” Kakashi said. Naruto became angry, pulled out a kunai, and stabbed the hand that had the poison in it.
“Were not going back to the village, we’re going to finish this mission and I promise you old man, I will protect you. I won’t run away anymore.” Naruto said.
“Umm, Naruto that was cool and all, but if you bleed anymore, you’re going to die.” Kakashi said. Naruto screamed and started to run in circles. “Naruto, calm down and let me see your hand.” Naruto stopped and Kakashi walked up to him. He kneeled in front of him and looked at his wound.
“What’s with the serious look am I going to be alright?” Naruto asked.
“Huh? Yeah, you’ll be just fine.” Kakashi said and took out some bandages and wrapped Naruto’s hand. “Now for your arm Aya.”
“It’s alright, I got it.” I said and took out a kunai. I sat my backpack down and took out my water bottle. I cut next to the scratch that the ninjas gave me and then washed it with the water from my water bottle. I reached into my bag again and took out some bandages and wrapped my arm. I put the bottle and kunai back. “Alright, let’s go.” I said as I stood up and put my backpack back on.
