It was a nice warm day. You were lying on the grass near a small lake. You had a day off. At first you were going to train but soon you found you just couldn’t. Why? It was because you couldn’t stop thinking about one certain someone. Your teammate. A perfect kunoichi…and a perfect girl. Those thoughts about her were distracting you so much that you just simply had to stop your training. Lately it was happening a lot.
Now lying on the cool grass you were thinking everything over and over again.
She was your teammate and one of the best kunoichis you’d ever seen. Maybe the fact that she was so strong made her your rival…? Well, who knows… Anyway, you both always considered each other as one’s rival. Well ok, maybe you never actually did. But you knew she really did. To you she’s always been someone…someone special. She has never admired you like those other girls. She had never missed the chance to annoy you or make you mad. Well, being you, you did the same to her. You couldn’t help it. So it ended the worst way you could have ever imagined. You both were the worst rivals. For example you and Naruto looked like best friends compared to your and her relationships.
Oh, how much you hated it.
The only girl I like hates me….
You sighed once again and sat up. This was driving you insane.
You decided to just go home. You knew she liked that lake and you really didn’t want to meet her here.
Although it’d be nice to sit here with her alone… talking...or just being alone with her would be good enough…

“Don’t call me a dobe, you ….um…dobe!” he yelled. You merely rolled your eyes.
“What do you want?” you repeated when he didn’t answer.
“Kakashi-sensei told me to tell you that you have to come to the genins party”
You stared at him blankly. Was he kidding? If he was that wasn’t funny.
“You have to come” Naruto frowned. “You can enter only if all team is there. So we need you. Dattebayo!”
He’s even more stupid that I thought
“There’s no way Amaya’d come” you said blankly. She didn’t like that kind of stuff.
“Oh, don’t worry about her, Sasuke!” Naruto grinned proud of himself.” I already got her promise to come!”
How does he do that?
“Sasuke, so you’re coming, right?”
Amaya’s gonna be there….
Still I won’t go!
“No”
“Oh, come on, Sasuke! You’re going no matter you like it or not!”
The chance to be with Amaya all night…
So and what? I won’t go!
“Leave me alone, you moron”
“Sasuke, don’t be an ass! Every genin is going to be there! I even managed to get Amaya to come! You have to go with us!”
All genins…All those guys… And Amaya’ll be there. To think what those idiots could try on her….
“Fine, I’ll go. Just shut up.”
Naruto stopped obviously dumbfounded about your sudden change of mind. Finally the realization seemed to sink in him.
“ 6 p.m. sharp, Sasuke! And I’m going to tell Kakashi that you’ll come so he could sign us up! Dattebayo!”
“Whatever ” you mumbled and started walking away.
What a loser. And why did I even let myself to get in this..?
You sighed knowing the answer very well.
You sighed again.
Damn, I can’t believe I’m doing this
You took in a breath as you opened the door to the building where that party held place.
The walls of the room were decorated with pink and there was slow music playing. Somehow you managed to keep a straight face and not to grimace. Luckily for you Sakura and Ino were dancing (or doing something like that) so those crazy girls didn’t take a notice of you.
You looked around trying to find her.
Where’s she..?
Finally you noticed that dark hair. Amaya was standing in the end of the room talking with some guy you didn’t know. You found yourself extremely annoyed.
Who’s that loser?
To your relieve she waved to that guy and turned around walking away. You started walking up to her but Naruto got in your way.
“Yo, Sasuke! So you came!”
“Obviously” you mumbled. Right then you wanted to talk just with one person. And that definitely wasn’t Naruto. But of course he wasn’t going to leave you alone.
“You know you’re an hour late? Dattebayo!”
Must he say that word all the time?
“Whatever” you mumbled again and walked past him. And when Amaya was just few yards away….
“Time to play a game!”
You growled. You wanted to get out of there but that idiot Naruto grabbed your hand. You saw that Shikamaru and Kiba literally dragged Amaya to the circle everyone was sitting in.
“Let go, moron” you hissed at Naruto.
“Sasuke-kun, you’re here!”
You sighed. Now you were in trouble.
How annoying
You felt that someone’s hand grabbed yours. You could feel that hand belonged to a girl. You turned around ready to tell her to back off when you came face to face with…Amaya?!
“Don’t even try to get away…” she mumbled pulling you with her. “If I have to play you have too”
“Fine, just let go” you mumbled and yanked your hand free.
You sat down. You suspected her to sit next to you but she didn’t. She sat in front of you. Sakura looked at you and giggled like retarded before whispering something to Ino. The latter grinned like idiot.
I’m in deep trouble
“We’re gonna play truth or dare!”

“I’m starting!” Sakura yelled.
I don’t know who’s more annoying Naruto or her
“Naruto, truth or dare?”
“Dare!” the blonde yelled out.
“I dare you to… not to eat ramen three days!” Sakura giggled.
“WHAT?! You can’t do that!”
“It’s a dare, you have to do it” Sakura giggled again

“Sasuke, truth or dare?”
“Dare” you answered with no emotion in your voice.
“ I dare you to… kiss Amaya for thirty seconds with her arms around your neck and your hands on her waist!”
Your heart skipped a beat as you heard your dare. Kiss Amaya… You dreamed about that sometimes… okay, let’s face it- everynight. You wanted to go and kiss her but you couldn’t. You were supposed to be her rival.
Amaya looked at you.. You couldn’t figure out emotions in her face, if there was any at all.
“Come on, just do it.” Kiba grunted. You shot him an evil glare.
“That’s okay, he doesn’t have to do it if he doesn’t want to” Sakura said quickly.
You frowned.

“Haha, you’re a chicken, Sasuke!” Naruto laughted.
“Shut up, usuratonkachi” you hissed at him through your clenched teeth before glaring. “Fine, I’ll do this”
Everyone in the room gasped or raised their eyebrows.
You put a stony face on and made your way towards Amaya. There she was, standing in front of you. Her eyes showed no emotion at all as she looked up at you.
Damn, why had your heart beat so loudly? She probably could hear it.
“And why have you to accepted the dare?” she mumbled finally showing some emotions. But it definitely wasn’t even near the ones you wanted to see. She was annoyed.
Why can’t she be happy..?
“Don’t make it worse then it already is” you murmured. Your voice sounded annoyed as well but it was just a way to hide what you were feeling for real.
“Hurry up!” Kiba yelled.
That moment you wanted to kill him even more than Itachi himself.
I have to try
You took in a sharp breath and leaned in closer to her face. For a short moment something unusual flashed in her eyes. But you didn’t have time to think about it. Finally your lips touched.
It felt even better than you have ever imagined. Her lips were so soft and sweet.
You gently caressed her lips with yours. This was what you had wanted to do for so long.
Everything around you seemed not to matter anymore; it was just you and Amaya. Surprisingly you felt her kissing back. But that was all you could have wanted.
Whistles and roars could be heard around you but it sounded so far away that you just ignored it. Kiba’s voice said something, you couldn’t care less what, but Amaya wrapped her arms around your neck. You wanted to have her as close as possible so without any hesitation your arms found their way to her waist. Your bodies pressed tight together and without thinking you nibbled at her bottom lip.
She let you in. Her tongue didn’t give up without a fight. It made you smirk in the kiss. You won the battle for dominance and your tongue freely roamed in her mouth while exploring and tasting every inch.
When your tongue was done there, even thought you still wanted more, you let her enter your mouth. She massaged your tongue with hers and you had to hold in a moan witch wanted to come out.
Then you felt Amya pulling away from you. Those thirty seconds must have ended. You didn’t want to let go of her lips but you knew you had to. So you gently ended the kiss and unwillingly pulled your face away with your eyes still closed.
There was a dead silence around you two. Not even you surprised everyone doing the dare at all but now you didn’t even pull away the same second they said the time was over.
For few seconds you were scared to meet Amaya’s eyes but then you gathered your courage and slowly opened your eyes.
It was awkward.
Amaya was looking at you. Her face was bright red. First time you saw her like that. When your gaze met hers she blushed even more and turned her eyes away while quickly letting go of your neck. Just then you realized that your arms still were around her waist and you slowly freed her from your arms. She took a step back, still not looking at you.
You didn’t know how to react so you did what you always did. You simply put an emotionless face on (if you could call your pink face an emotionless one).Butterflies were still dancing in your stomach and your heart still were beating faster than normal as you turned around to look at Naruto who looked just dumbfounded.
“Happy now?’ you asked and walked up to the door.
“Where are..?” Sakura started but you cut her off.
“To take a walk”
“Hey, hey!” Naruto yelled “You… can’t just go away like that! We’re still playing!”
“I did my dare… that’s all…” you said shutting the door.
You stopped when you were in front of a small but nice lake. Then you sank to the ground. Your head was spinning and you couldn’t help but remember that amazing taste of Amaya, her sweet smell, that feeling of having her lips locked with yours. The more you thought about it, the more you wanted to feel that again. But… was it possible..?
You sighed. What if she kissed you only because that was a dare..? What then? Could you act around her like you did before? No, you couldn’t. How could you argue with her again, how could you tease her again, how could you talk with her ever again when everytime you even remembered her face you could only think about that kiss. Up until now you were doing a pretty good job hiding your feelings. But now…
Damn Naruto. Why did he even dared me to do that…?
It was getting darker with each second passed. The sun was almost down. With thoughtful eyes you stared at the sunset.
It’d be nice if she was here…
“Damn. Love. Why did I have to fall in love?” you said out loud. Why not talk with yourself..? Now one else was there after all… or so you though.
“That’s what I’ve been thinking lately” a soft voice behind you said. Your heart skipped a beat… like always when you were near her.
Amaya…
She sat down next to you.
She’s so beautiful…
Amaya turned to look at you and smiled.
And then, when your eyes met those warm orbs, all your fear of being rejected, sadness, doubts, everything that’d been troubling you for past few moths... all of it just went away. She was there with you, for you.
“So, Sasuke…” she spoke, her smile still on her face “you don’t want to be in love either?”
This girl… love her more and more with each second passed…
You smirked and snaked your arm around her waist as you leaned to her ear and whispered:
“Want it or not… I am”
