{M.Shadows} Trashed and Scattered Again {Zacky V} Part 21

“The school called today.” My mom told us over dinner. “I swear it wasn’t my fault!” Syn and I jumped. “It wasn’t about either of you. It was about Tess. After dinner we need to talk young lady.” My mom looked at Tess as she said it. Syn and I sighed in relief. After the little incident at the school, we were worried. “The school called me too.” Mr. Haner told us. We stayed silent. “They said that Jake punched you two first. So it was self defense.” He finished. “He punched you?” my mom asked looking at me. “No, he more like grabbed my ass. Matt went mad. He hit Matt, Matt hit him, Syn came up, Jake hit Syn, Syn hit Jake, and I just ended up helping.” I answered. “Oh brother.” Tess rolled her eyes. “Stick it.” I snarled. “Is dinner always like this?” My nana asked. Her and my grandpa left the following morning. “Yes.” My mom answered. “I heard that Avenged Sevenfold landed a gig at the school.” Mr. Haner brought up. “Yeah. School dance.” Syn answered. “Count me out.” Tess complained. “Good.” I told her. “Ai are you going to go?” My mom asked. “Yeah to see the guys play.” “It is a short slot though. And it’s tomorrow.” Syn came up. After dinner my mom and Tess went into the living room. Everyone else was outback. “I have to know what she did.” I sighed as Syn stood in my door way. “Then let’s go spy on her.” He pushed. “Okay” We hid in the stairs. “Tess I don’t care!” My mom sighed. “Mom she stole him! Matt should be with me!” “No he shouldn’t. He loves your sister, back off or you will be grounded. If you try and get the football team to write anything else mean about your sister on the football field you will be grounded for another month! I’m sick of this. She is finally happy! Back off.” The following morning my grandparents left. After school I came home and went up to my room. I opened my closet door and looked inside it. I heard a knock at my door. I opened it. Standing there was Syn, Liz, Jess, and Zacky. “What are you all doing standing outside my doorway?” I asked. “Well I’m just the tag along.” Zacky commented. “I really don’t know.” Syn answered. “What about you two?” I questioned. “Well we are here to help you.” Jess answered. “With what?” I was confused. “Getting dressed for the dance.” Liz informed me. They pushed me into my room and Zacky and Syn followed. “What?” I asked. “Well since you aren’t very girly, we are going to help you. Zacky supports it.” Jess told me. I looked at Zacky. “Come on, you can completely show your sister up!” He reminded me. “Fine. But you two out!” I told Syn and Zacky as I pointed to my door. They went to Syn’s room. “Pick your clothes.” Liz and Jess ordered. I went back to what I was doing. “What about this?” I asked holding up a pair of jeans. “Sweetie, girly.” Liz told me. “Yeah hun, that’s not girly. Those are baggy.” Jess agreed. “Can I come in?” My mom’s voice asked. “Yeah.” She came in and closed the door behind her. “What is going on?” My mom asked. “They are helping me get ready for the dance. I don’t know why though.” “So you can make your sister jealous.” Jess chipped in. I laughed. I looked at it, then grabbed it. “This?” I asked holding up the black skirt. “Perfect!” My mom, Jess, and Liz all exclaimed. I went into my bathroom and changed into the skirt. I hadn’t worn it since we moved here. “What shirt are you going to wear?” Jess asked. “Metallica.” I answered opening my bathroom door and walking over to my closet. I grabbed one of my Metallica shirts. After that I brushed my hair and left it down. “She doesn’t need any help.” Liz stated. “I know.” Jess responded. I finished getting ready, then the phone rang. “Hello?” I answered. “Hey.” Matt’s voice responded. “Hey Matt!” “What are you doing?” “Getting ready. Zacky had Jess and Liz come over to help me get ready.” “I’ve gotta see this.” “You will in like an hour.” “Oh yeah huh?” “Yeah.” We talked for a while then hung up. My mom, Liz, and Jess were all staring at me with the biggest smile. “You three are scaring me.” I told them. Later that evening Syn and Zacky left right before Matt drove up. He seemed shocked. “What?” I asked. “Nothing. It’s just wow.” “That makes a whole lot of sense Matt. You better tell me before we get there!” “I’ve never saw you in a skirt before. And I’ve known you for a year!” “Well, I thought I’d surprise you.” “You shocked me.” “Good” Matt leaned over and kissed me, then we left for the school.
