Adrian nodded, "Don't mention it. It seemed as if she had been abused and she was unconsious. My brother said she had been unconscious since he got shot and dropped her from the sky. Her wrist was sprung so I wrapped an ace bandage around it. But all in all she's fine."

Blake took my wrist and looked at it. He examined it for a few seconds. I wouldnt believe Adrian's story if I was him, yet I know the truth. I will tell him later. Blake pulled me into another hug and kissed my cheek.

"It will heal soon. It looked like it was broken." He whispered. I nodded.

"Well, Adrian, I'm surprised you didn't do anything to her, Like you normally would have."

Wait, they know each other? But how? Nevermind, Blake knows everyone and everyone knows him.
"She was too beautiful to hurt. Not to mention it's no fun when they are passed out."

Blake nodded his head in agreement, "Let's have some tea, shall we?"

Adrian nodded and pushed himself off of his car and started to head inside. Blake wrapped his arm around my waist and quided me into the castle and to a room I had bever been in before. Books lined the walls in a few spots but there were a few old victorian couches and a couple of matching victorian end tables and a matching coffee table. I sat down on one of the couches and Blake sat next to me, followed by Adrian on the other side. A maid about my age came in and set a trey on the coffee table with three cups and matching saucers, a teapot, a thing with sugar I guess and another with cream. She filled the three cups and handed them to us.
"More sugar or cream, sir?"

Blake shook his head as well as Adrian. I shrugged and took a sip of the hot tea. It burned my tongue and I almost spit it back out. Blake chuckled a bit, "It's hot."

I swallowed and looked up at him, "So I realized."

Adrian laughed and took a sip, "So, how has it been going around here?"

Blake took a deep breath, "Pretty good. Hectic when she vanished."

The door opened and caroline came in, "Dad, Katie wants me to go to the club with her. Can I?"

She froze when she saw Adrian. Adrian stared at her, "You are his daughter?"

Blake looked over at Adrian, "What do you mean by that?"

"Well, his majesty wants me to be in an arranged marriage with her." Adrian replied.

Blake shrugged, "Sure, sweetie. You can go. Just be sure a guard is with you."

She smiled and hugged him before running out of the room. Blake sighed and looked over at Adrian, "So my parents think that you are the perfect match for my daughter?"

Adrian shrugged, "I guess so. I think she's a little young for me."

Blake chuckled, "A few hundred years isn't too young."

Adrian laughed, "No. She's like what, thirteen right now? I couldn't marry a thirteen year old at this second. But all in all she is pretty perfect for me."

"Just remember what I can do to you if you ever hurt her." Blake said as he took a sip of his tea.
Adrian nodded, "I still have the scar."

So, it seems as if Adrian and Blake had a fight before. I may not be a rocket scientist but I can understand little things. It's common sense really. I wonder what they fought about.

"He thought I was the one his father hired to murder his wife and daughter, so he tried to kill me in return." Adrian said, reading my mind.
I looked over at him with confusion. He wasn't a vampire and he wasn't human, yet he could read my mind. So what was he?

"I am a demon, Princess Ashley." I heard Adrian say. I looked over to him and he shrugged.

I started thinking about Blake. If he loved that girl so much then and he couldn't kill me because I looked like her, does that mean he still loves her? If he does then I can't marry him. I know he's told me that he loves me, but I can't compare to a ghost. I would fight to get his love, but I can't fight a dead girl. I know he loved her and such, but is he only with me because I look like the woman he used to love? I sighed and took a sip of my tea.

"Is something wrong, babe?" Blake asked.

"No. I'm fine." I replied a little too quickly.

Blake raised an eyebrow then took a sip of his tea, seeming as if he didn't believe me. I saw Adrian smirking in the corner of my eye. What's so funny to him?

"Well, Princess, that necklace I put on you blocks your mind from him. I can read your mind just fine." Adrian said.

I looked over at Blake to see his reaction, but he didn't seem to hear it.

"He can't hear me talking to you. I am putting my thoughts into your mind." Adrian said.

I sighed and Blake looked at me with concern. I could tell he was struggling with asking me the question he had asked a few minutes before.

"I keep hearing voices." I said and Adrian seemed to get a little pissed.

"Who does it sound like?" Blake asked.

"A-a man." I said oddly. I couldn't say Adrian. Something forced me to say a man.

"I can control you while you wear that necklace. I control your mind, your actions, and your words." Adrian said.

At that instant my body was pushed towards Adrian. He wrapped his arms around me and started to kiss him. I wanted to shove him off and beat him but something made me kiss him back. It was as if I was watching myself like a movie. I couldn't stop.

"What the hell?" Blake asked.

Adrian pushed me off and smiled at him, "She must want me."

"The necklace, take it off." I said quickly before Adrian could reword me.

Blake looked confused but put his hands on my neck, onto the necklace Adrian had given me and instantly pulled them away. "Shit, it shocked me."

His eyes went to Adrian, "Get that necklace off of my fiance."

Adrian shrugged, "Why should I? I can control every bit of her this way."

Blake growled and pulled Adrian off of the couch by his neck. Adrian pushed Blake off of him, "Alright. Fine. I didn't know she was the princess when I put it on her, chill dude."

Blake glared at him and he pulled me to him, taking the necklace off of me and putting it in his pocket. Blake growled and held his hand out. Adrian sighed and put the necklace in Blake's hand.

"I don't want you to do any of that shit with my daughter." Blake said with anger seeping through.

Adrian put his hands up, looking like a teenager that had just got in trouble by the police and denying everything. It was kinda cute, actually. Blake sent his glare at me for a few seconds.

"I think it's time you leave, Adrian. Goodnight. And thanks for bringing Ashley back." Blake said.

Adrian nodded, "You are very welcome, Prince Blake. Goodnight."

Adrian then walked out of the room and out of sight. I looked at Blake as he sat beside me. He put one hand over his eyes, looking like he was thinking about something. I sighed and slid my hand over the one on his knee. He moved the hand over his eyes and looked at me, smiling slightly. He pulled me to him and kissed me, "I missed you so much. I was worried sick. But I'm glad you got here safely."

I smiled and hugged him, "Why didn't you send out flyers and messages and stuff about me being missing?"

He looked at me, "I didn't want people looking for you then bringing you back asking for rewards. I also didn't want enemies looking for you and holding you hostage."

"Oh..I was worried that you didn't really care about me."

Blake kissed me again, "I care about you more than anything. I thought that I would never get over Rose. But you proved me wrong. Now, let's get some sleep shall we?"

Blake stood up, pulling me with him. "I want a shower first."

He smiled and nodded then pulled me to our room. He started the water for me. "I'll be lying down, watching t.v. more than likely."

"Alright." I kissed him and got in the shower.
