Well lets start with the basics the story is about Angels/Vampires and it will take place in a small town called Riverside. Basically Two Angels named Sariel and Uzziel must protect two children from Lucifer or the entire world becomes his playground, and along the way the two Angels/Vampires have to overcome obstacles in the form of an old lover that has turned against heaven and now works for Lucifer, The Dark Ones (the angels that followed Lucifer when he was cast out of heaven), Devildogs, and four of the seven deadly sins (Envy, Greed/Avarice, Lust, and Wrath.)
All Angels have the basic powers that include super strentgh, speed, hearing, sight, although some posess extras.
Sariel:
The Archangel of death leader of The Paladins (no I did not steal the name from the movie Jumper paladin is actually another word for protector.) Her powers and abilities include, control over the shadows (which is considered a dark power), the ability to read minds, and she is and expert with knives or swords of anykind. She has no memory of the past before Lucifer was cast out of heaven but everything after she remembers clearly, also the higher more important angels are keeping something hidden from her and she is determined to find out what. She is also not fully trusted by the other angels for reasons she does not know. She has a strong blood bond with her mate Uzziel (A blood bond is the equivilent of marriage for angels/vampires.)
Uzziel:
His name means "Strength of God" he is a Cherubim. His powers and abilities include, the abilitly to read and control minds, and the power to see ones aura and distinguish if they are good or evil. He is an expert at hand to hand combat. He is also not aware of Sariel's past before the fall of Lucifer and is determined to help her piece together what has been erased from her memory. He Trusts Sariel fully and is very protective of her even though she doesn't need it.
Michael:
THE Archangel, he plays a more fatherly role to Sariel
Momma:
The Gaurdian Angel assigned to Sariel and Uzziel by Michael.
Azazel:
Was once a Sereph who was later given the charge of being the Angel of Death because of his violent nature. He left heaven shortly after Lucifer was castout and sided with him when he grew tired of collecting souls for God. Azazel is second in command of the Dark Ones. He was stripped of his ability to take the soul of a person through a kiss when he when he left heaven but he still posesses the basic abilities. He his good with a sword but better at hand to hand combat. He wears a jacket that is covered in the wings of the angels that he has killed it is his 'trophy' as he likes to call it. At one time he had a blood bond with Sariel but it was severed when he joined Lucifer.
Lucifer:
Lucifer was cast out of heaven for rebelling against God, he plays a key role in Sariels' past. He wants nothing more to get his hands on the two children that The Paladins' have been charged with keeping alive.
Devildogs:
Lucifers personal bodygaurds, they were all human once the first was a devil worshiper who said he would sell his soul to Lucifer if he could be rich. Lucifer being the master trickster that he is agreed and let the man have all the riches and wealth he wanted for a month before he collected his soul and turned him into a Devildog. As for the other Devildogs once a human is bitten if they survive the turn they become servants and bodygaurds to Lucifer and can never return to their previous life or human form.
The Deadly Sins:
The beads of her necklace turn to dust and if blown on anyone turns them into greedy beings that will stop at nothing to get what they want ultimately leading to their death.
The green snake is her weapon of choice it's venom makes a person envious of anything and everyone causing the victim to go into a jealous rage and kill everyone to get what they think it is that they want.
Her kisses are deadly if she kisses anyone their judgement and minds become clouded with lust leaving the person willing to do anything to slake their lust even if it means dieing in the process
She uses her whip to spread wrath, if any part of the whip they become infected.
Jason Willis:
He has the ability to heal the injured and bring anyone from the brink of death.
Rachel Masters:
She has the ability to see the future.
