As to what he saw in you, one could only guess. You were the Akatsuki's cook. A servant for the world's most feared organization. And yet, you had joined it willingly. You had no family, no friends when you joined. And now you had befriended just about everyone. Deidara was the first to accept you, always making you smile and laugh. He even taught you about art. And things had progressed faster than you had hoped for. You went from being his cook, to being his lover over night it seemed.
And now you were going to bare him a child. It was telling him that frightened you the most. Always, the doubts in your mind swirled, causing you to worry. To think about leaving and never telling him at all. But in your heart, you knew you had to tell him.
"I have to. He deserves to know." You thought to yourself as you dragged yourself up off the floor and brushed your hair. Leaving it untied, you left your small room and went to find Deidara.
You found him sitting beneath a tree not too far from the lair. Plastering a small on your delicate features, you approached him, waving as you called out his name.
"Hey Deidara!" You flounced over to him and plopped down beside him.
"Hello ______-kun, yeah" He replied happily and threw his arm casually over your shoulders and pulled you into his side.
"So..Dei-dei...There is something I have been thinking about." You asked carefully.
"What is it, un?" He asked, pressing a kiss to your forehead and watching you.
"Do..do you want a family someday?" You told him, leaning back against the trunk of the tree so you could watch his facial expressions.
"Someday un. Why do you ask?" His eyes narrowed a bit as he watched you.
"Well..I guess that someday is sooner than you think. Because I am pregnant." You said as you quickly glanced down. Not wanting to meet his eyes. You closed your eyes, fearing the worst when you felt his arm disappear from your shoulders. When you opened them it was to find him leaning down eye level to you, grinning from ear to ear.
"Thats great, yeah!" He cheered as he picked you up and swung you in circles. You laughed when he stopped and cuddled close to him.
"I am glad you are happy Dei-Dei"
