This chapter has some unpleasent scenes which are not marked seperated like the other 2 M-rated chapters. You have been warned!

The monk was laughing silently. You could see that he experienced a pleasure he had never know before: the pleasure of burning someone. You smiled with pride that you helped this man understand what he really likes. Suddenly he got to himself. His smile drastically faded and he looked at you two. Now fear of wrongdoing was on his handsome face. He liked it, yet he disliked this pleasure. He putted his head in his hands and fell on the ground in despair.
“What am I doing?” he though. “This is wrong! I could have killed her!” “Yes… Her skin was going to melt and she was going to scream in pain.” “No! I must not think this way! Why? Why? Why?!” “Why?!!!” he screamed out loud.
“Why what?” Bankotsu asks.
You knew how he was feeling so you go to him and put your hand on his back to calm him down.
“I’m a monk,” he whispers. “I must not think like this!”
“Follow your head,” Bankotsu says. “Why to live here and waste your life by doing something you don’t like? Human’s life is short, enjoy it while you can.”
“But it’s not right,” he says. “Killing is bad and I must not enjoy it.”
“Hey! We are all different! We may like and dislike different things. So, join us, and I will help you fulfill this wish of yours. You no longer need to be someone you don’t want to.”
He looks at Bankotsu with misunderstanding of what this kid if thinking. The kid was no more then 16, as the monk though, and yet he was thinking of life as playground. He had no troubles, didn’t cared if he has a place to live, or if tomorrow he wouldn’t have what to eat. He was relying on his strength and that the monk couldn’t understand. He was though to do good, yet this wasn’t his nature. He remembered when this feeling of doubt appeared in him. He was only 11 when the temple was attacked by thieves. It was then when his mother died. She died to protect him, so he would run away from this madness. He saw how the temple was taken over from flames and he could hear how the people who couldn’t run out were screaming from pain and felt how they were dying. On the next day he returned with his father and the other monks who escaped to pray for the one who died there. When he closed his eyes he couldn’t say a prayer, since his mind was taken over from the images of the people, who were burn to ashes. That would scare any other kid, but not him. He smiled. Only his father saw it then, and his father knew what was in his head…
The monk told this story superficially and looked at you two, seeking for answers and guides. You looked at Bankotsu, not knowing what to do. He though a little and then says:
“Simple, we will burn down the temple.”
“What?” the monk jumps.
“This way you will have no hesitations. Girl, go wake up Jakotsu and let us raid the temple.”
You give a sign that you understood and go for the temple.
“Monk, get your stuff. Both ways you will have to fight, whether is with us or against, it’s your choice.” Bankotsu says and follows you.

You woke up Jakotsu, who was happy to hear that you will kill again. Bankotsu noted that this is not something hard so you will need to take your time with torturing, or how he called it play with, the monks.
The prayer was over long ago, so everybody were sound asleep in their beds. Bankotsu stabs the halberd in the centre of the garden of the temple. “Will use you later, my comrade.” He says to the weapon and goes to one of the places where the monks were sleeping. He breaks down the door, which wakes up everyone.
“Wake up all!” he screams, though there was no need for it. “Defend your temple!”
“From whom?” the one monk asks.
“From me,” Bankotsu says pissed, like it wasn’t obvious, by his entering.
“Why would you do this?” another monk jumped up.
“Nice question,” he pretended to think out of an answer. “Maybe because I want to.”
“But we gave you shelter and…”
“Stop with the excuses! I got my reasons! Now attack me!”
The monks didn’t attack. They were too scared.
“I knew this is a waste of time,” he mumbles.
He grabs the nearby monk and with hit in the stomach he takes him out. He doe the same with the rest. The monks started praying.
Jakotsu wasn’t enjoying himself as well. He was just hitting with his sword and watches them run around and tremble from fear.
You on the other hand were watching from aside the monk who came running from the cave side. He stopped and trembled at the sight of torture and blood around. Bankotsu was just grabbing the already out monks and hitting them, with bored in the face.
“O-aniki,” Jakotsu shouts from the other end of the centre garden. “This is getting boring! Can I kill 1 or 2?”
“Yes,” he answers without stopping his doings.
You walk next to him, and you watch together.
“We had no intention to attack, since they are weak,” you say to him. “You are the one that can fight against us, but this way you will be no different from us. Yet if you act as a monk, as you claim to be, you will have to pray, and that won’t help them. It’s your choice. What do you want to do?”
The monk was silent. He was watching the blood on the ground, and how the monks were playing for salvation.
“Pathetic,” he says and smirks. “They are so pathetic. Praying will not grant them anything. I feel the urge of…” he silent.
“To?” you ask not taking your eyes away from the violent scenes.
“To burn them all!” he laughed in insanity, and makes his way to Bankotsu.
When Bankotsu sees him he stops, and lets the half-dead monk on the ground.
“I see you made your choice,” he notes. “You know what you have to do.”
He passes by the monk and goes to his halberd. He picked it up and headed your way.
“I leave the rest to you,” he says to the monk and waves at him without turning to meet his face.
The monk looked at the one of the prayers. He was one of the eldest. He was bald, with serious face and obviously a skillful monk. His face was burned from the left side, as it seemed, from a great fire.
“I knew you will turn on us one day, my son” the man says without opening his eyes.
“Forgive me, father,” the monk says. “But this is who I really am!”
He took a swig and brought up fire at the monks.

After the flames were gone, you see that the monks were still alive and unharmed. Everything around them though was burned.
“A barrier,” Bankotsu notes.
The monk takes out his oiled strings and tossed them at his father. Then he lighten them but the fire stopped 1 meter away from him.
“What will I do?” he though. “He is putting barrier for the flames.”
“I won’t let you hurt them” the father spoke. “You…”
He stopped and opened his eyes from pain. Everyone looked from the needle in his forehead to you, who just though it. He fell dead and the barrier was lifted. Without second thoughts the monks were burned to bones.
“Hmm,” Bankotsu smirks. “Lets leave him have fun.”

With the temple burning to ashes in the background, the four of you went on your way for the next village.
“Mmm,” Jakotsu sight, “we had to get some food.”
“The next village is close by,” the monk said. “We better not travel at night.”
“I see, you were too excited,” Bankotsu smiles, “so you are tired now. Let it be so.”
You sat near the cave at the river. The monk had picked up enough bottles, as he noted, and Bankotsu and Jakotsu sealed the entrance with big rocks.
“My, the mist here is heavy,” Jakotsu notes.
“I like it,” Bankotsu says.
“Reminds you of home, doesn’t it?” Jakotsu and Bankotsu laugh.
“Nice one, Jakotsu,” Bankotsu notes. “It also reminds me of how our little girl was tricked.”
“Shut up!” you get piss. “I could take care of it myself.”
“I doubt you could, if you were burn to ashes.”
“Fine!” you say and turn for your little bag. You take out bread and two apples. “For that, I’m not sharing with you this.”
Bankotsu looked pissed. Jakotsu laughed and the monk smiled.
“Cleaver thinking,” the ‘saint’ notes. “It’s always nice to have food, mostly if you don’t know when you will get more.”
“I can live for days without food, it’s not tempting me.” Bankotsu says crossed and looks aside.
“Oh yes, I also happen to have this,” you smirk while taking out a flask.
“I have a river here,” Bankotsu didn’t get it.
“I was told that rivers have water, not sake.”
Bankotsu gets even more pissed, so he gets up, and like a spoiled child, he goes away and turns his back to you. Everybody look at him silently for few minutes. You break the silence with a question.
“What are you called actually?”
“Who me?” the monk looks at you and answers with a innocent smile. “Since I’m starting a new life, I better think of another name.”
His smile was so pure and beautiful, like this man never sinned in his life.
“I think it must end on –kotsu,” Jakotsu noted. “Since I’m Ja-kotsu and o-aniki is Ban-kotsu.”
“And what is you name, young girl?”
“Hojikotsu!” Jakotsu jumps with a suggestion.
“What?” you look at him. “That is not my name.”
“No, for him… Or… Kajikotsu!”
“He will be Renkotsu.” Bankotsu shouts not looking at you.
“Nice idea, o-aniki.” Jakotsu smiles. “Now it’s your turn, girl.”
“Shankotsu,” Renkotsu smiled.
“What?” you blush from his smile. ‘Shan’, or ‘beaytiful’, was a thing you hear every day, but the way he looked at you, made you melt. Where you falling for him?

“I was going to say that,” Bankotsu though. “If she only was like the other girls...” He takes a look at you, with the edge of his left eye. “She is blushing! I tell her that all the time, and she never blushes for me!” He looks back to the dark misty sky. “Why do I care? She will come begging to get back to the old Bankotsu.” He smirks by the though there is nobody better then him.
After eating they went to lay down and have some sleep. Bankotsu was still saying there… thinking… You go to him.
“Here,” you say and passing him some from the food.
“No, I don’t need it,” he says and pushes it back to you.
“Just eat it, ok? You need strength.”
“You need it more then me.”
“What is that suppose to mean!?”
“Hey, girl, what do you think of that monk?”
You blush by the though about him. Bankotsu saw it and turned away from you and made his way for the rest of the group, to get some rest.
“Forget that I asked,” he says on the way for there.
“Bankotsu,” you call his name for a first time. “You…”
He stops but doesn’t turns for you.
“You… You are jealous!” you burst into a laugh.
“Who are you calling jealous!” he gets angry and jumps to attack you in anger. You dodge his hit and jump back from him. You didn’t want to fight him. He didn’t gave up, and jump after you. He tries to kick you, but you kept jumping back. He was attacking too fast and your jumping back made you fall in the water. He jumps in the water after you. You gave up from running and just waited for his splash. He got up, since the water was hardly getting to the waste of both of you, and pucks you up.
“Are you going to hit me now?” you smirk. “Go ahead! I’m used to pain, remember?”
He doesn’t say anything. He got you close to his face and gave you a deep kiss. You were surprised and tried to struggle, but his grip was strong as usual.

I'm so running out of ideas. I am cared that I may give the same ideas as in the first story, which I don't want to! Just to note, the band still doesn't have the armors. Now to answer some questions...

Q: It wasn't like that in the anime...
A: I know. I kind of don't like some of the anime ideas. I'm sorry but they sound lame to me. (not that mine are something awsome, but I find them better). I try to make it as realistic as possible. I try to keep up with the manga.

Q: Can I use your banners?
A: You cannot edit them, so they won't be much use of them. But if you think you can use some without editing, it's fine by me. Just don't forget the credit.

Q: Why Genesis?
A: 'Genesis' means "Beginning". I chose this title because the story starts from the beginning of the shichinin-tai and it's forming.

Q: How do you write the next chapter?
Answer in my journal.

If you have any more questions, feel free to massage, and sorry it took so long to publish and to answer them.
