Impure has now become pure

Bad has become good
The sun saw you on the rode for the next village. Renkotsu told you on the way that this village was burned down many times, yet it always lived. Bankotsu noted that he is not interested in a small village.
Suddenly you heard horses coming from the back. You turn, as you were in the middle of the rode, to meat the big group of people.
“Samurais from the sound of the horses,” you note. The rumble of horses was not a strange sound to you. Due to the heavy arms which samurais usually had, their horses were hitting the ground harder. “It’s a legion.”
“Only?” Jakotsu sights sadly.
“What are they doing around these parts?” Renkotsu wonders.
“Let’s find out,” Bankotsu says and waits for them to show up from the end of the rode.
The samurais gave out a warning but he didn’t move. They were going to run them over when Jakotsu hit with his sword in the ground just 3 meters away from you. The horses got started and almost threw the samurais from their backs. Everybody was looking scared, since they have never seen a sword like this of Jakotsu’s.
“What kind of magic is that?” the main samurai screamed.
He was as tall as Jakotsu, with scar on his left eye, which was closed. You judged it’s from a katana, but it wasn’t what it hurt the eye. He had long red beard, which meant his original hair-color is red, even if gray hairs were coming from under the helm.
Bankotsu pointed his sword to the leader.
“I presume you are the strong one,” he says with a smirk. “I want to fight you.”
“Don’t make me laugh, kid,” the leader says. “Now move out of the way, while still have the choice.”
“Now, you see, it won’t be fair you to be on a horse, so… let’s make us equal!” he says and jumps ahead, cuts the head of the horse and puts the blade back on his shoulder. The samurai fell along with the lifeless body of the animal. He got up fast and took out his katana.
“Attack!” he orders.
“Bake the rest!” Bankotsu says and jumps to fight with the samurai.
Samurais or not, they were no match for the powerful loyal weapons of Jakotsu and you. Big groups were burned by Renkotsu. He was cleaver enough to make a line of fire between the leader and Bankotsu, who were doing a more interesting battle when you had, and his legion of people, who were trying to take down the young mercenary. You took care of the long-ranged, to protect your comrade from injuring. It was then when you heard something as of a call… You take a look back and see a young samurai.
He had a katana out and one still in the scabbard. You felt as you were called by the katana, which is still not taken out. You knew of fighters that fight with two blades, only they had two katanas. But this was strange, he wasn’t such fighter, then why did he have two. Unless…
“This one is mine,” you say to Renkotsu. He nods and cast a ring of fire around you and your opponent.
“You think you can kill me, the child of a long line of samurais?” he shouts at you. He was around 23, with beautiful brown eyes and sandy blond hair. He didn’t look really skillful but you wanted something else from him.
You give him a sign to attack. He gives a battle call and tries to cut you in two with his katana. You block it with your hand defender. (remember the metal bracelet? Since you don’t have something bigger then a dagger, you use that, so don’t forget about it. It’s made from strong steal and its span wide and covers almost all your forearm)
You crouch and hit him in the stomach so hard that blood comes out of his mouth and falls on your head. You push him back from you and lower your defense.
“You are pathetic,” you say disappointed.
“Watch your mouth, wench, or I will…”
Before he could finish you were already behind him and threatening his throat with your main dagger.
“Tell me, before I kill you,” you whisper in his ear. “How can a wimp like you get a hold of a loyal sword?”
“None of your business,” he says but you grab him for the hair that is coming out from the back of the helm and pull it back.
“I would reconsider my respond if I were you,” you whisper with an evil tone in your voice.
“It’s my father’s. It has been passed though generations to the male.”
“Then draw it out, and fight!”
“Shut up!”
“You can’t, can you?” you smirk. “You are not strong enough for it. Do it a favor and die!”
He though you will cut his throat with the dagger, but you drew out the katana, and cut his head with it. You knew it from the moment you saw it. The katana chose you.
Everybody was dead for no time. A legion of skillful samurais wasn’t enough to take you down. The ground had changed its colour to dark red, from the blood of the dead samurais. The leader was lying aside cut in three. Bankotsu didn’t need a lot of time to kill him. He was obviously disappointed. You took armors from the samurais, and you went down the rode.
You saw a big fire ahead of you.
“It seems that is the village, burning again.” Renkotsu notes.
“What a bother,” you says. “Now I will get no shower, and I won’t take off the blood of this weakling from my hair.”
“Agree…” Jakotsu sight again. “Blood is so messy.”
You arrived at the village to see the samurais killing everything. They tried to attack you but Bankotsu and Renkotsu took them down. Bankotsu ordered you to look around.
The village was really small, and everywhere you passed it was covered with burned corps. Everyone were running and trying to save themselves from the evils. It was then when you heard a voice:
“Doctor, she is beyond help. Let’s just leave her and run!”
You look to see a man over a child, obviously trying to help her in some way, but the smoke was to dark to see though. There was another man who was ready to run, and it seemed he was the one talking.
“Don’t be ridiculous!” the other man says. “There is still hope!”
“But the samurais are headed this way!” the other says with certainty. “We must flee or they will kill us!”
“Flee if you want, but I am going to save this child!”
The man staid no more and run, but the doctor was still trying.
“Pathetic,” you though even if you were surprised of his actions.
You head someone coming near the doctor… a samurai. He stabbed the girl and blood was spread all over the doctor.
“You…” the doctor couldn’t believe his eyes. “You killed her! Why? How could you do such a thing?”
“I put her out of her misery.” The samurai says with a deep voice. “You should be grateful.”
He took the blade out of the lifeless body of the child and you knew he was smiling. You moved closer, still trying to not be noticed.
“Our Lord orders are to kill every single person in this village,” the samurai informed.
He went for the frightened doctor. He was a goner, you though. You were thinking to help him or to leave him die. He was in no use of you, yet he got your eye with his niceness. It was, as if, he was trying to pay for his sins, by helping others. Yet he was scared of death, you couldn’t understand him.
“No! Stay away!” the doctor screams, and in his fear he grabs a knife from his instruments. He swings it and kills the samurai.
You could see the fear and the disappointment in his eyes.
“I…” he says in a low voice, while he had his eyes covered with his hands. “I kill him…”
Suddenly his aura changed, like he wasn’t the same person. He gave a loud laugh. His voice changed as well, it was deeper now.
“That feels good…” he says to himself, takes the other knife that heads in the direction his eyes first saw. You found this change interesting and followed unnoticed.
You saw him kill without mercy, both villagers and samurais. He was enjoying the killing, as it was his life. The doctor so determent to save that child, is not taking the lives of the innocent. You were just about to go to him, when Bankotsu came out of the smokes.
“Interesting human you are,” he smirks. “I’m no foe, even the opposite – a friend. I see you enjoy killing, join me and my band of mercenaries, and you can kill with no limits.”
“And why should I?” he asks.
“It’s all up to, I’m just offering. You can spend your time with other people, sharing the same feeling, and getting paid for killing. Well? What will you say?”
He didn’t need to say anything else. This guy was just doing it for the killing. His cold hard was perfect for the bad. This way he won’t fail. But you were wondering, what happened to the doctor. Is it possible both good and bad to be in one body and mind? Can pure to be impure, or impure to be pure? You were going to keep your eye on him, for he was not someone to be trusted.
