"L-layla... What the hell is he doing in your house?" Tifa whispered, her eyes narrowing darkly onto the silver haired male in front of her. He seemed unfazed; rather bored, actually. Without so much as a sound, the large male reached over and grabbed you, pulling you over to him and wrapping his arm around you casually.
"Well, you see... I uhm~..."
"...You what? You're fraternizing with the ENEMY?!" She shrilled fiercely, looking rather... hurt; betrayed. "Lays, you know this is Cloud's enemy!" She snapped.
"But if I'm not mistaken, they also worked together at one point, didn't they?" You retorted. Tifa frowned and leaned back a bit, but didn't remove her gaze from the male, wary of his possible intentions. "Look, Tifa... He was hurt, injured, in my back yard. Did you honestly believe for one second that I would leave him to die?! You may be a heartless woman, but I'm not. I refuse to let him die..." Sighing heavily, you leaned back into him.
"Cloud... Cid... Marlene..." Tifa's eyes saddened briefly. "...Vincent... We all thought that he had been finished off for good. We thought we could finally rest in knowing that the man who caused so much pain and suffering was finally dead. But all of this time..." Her eyes returned to that cold, vicious stare as she ripped her stare back up to meet your own. "...All of this time, he's been with you! Being nursed back to health and God only knows what you've been giving him! Never mind what you've been doing with him!"
You flinched slightly and looked down to the floor. For once in a long, long time, you felt ashamed for helping someone. What in the hell was wrong with you? Helping Cloud's enemy? You should have turned Sephiroth in! But then...
He'd have been murdered ruthlessly. You would have never of had those talks with him that you did, or got to flirt and be playful, or even had far more intimate moments that you didn't share with others but once in a blue moon. For once...
You felt like you belonged.
"How could you do this to us, Layla? To me? I trusted you... We all trusted you! And what do you do? You betray all of us! You--"
"Shut up Tifa!" You snapped, jerking your head up and glaring at her menacingly. She reeled back a bit in surprise, but firmly held her ground, watching the both of you cautiously. "I am so sick and tired of hearing you yell at me because I HELPED him! He was dying, what did you expect me to do?! I'm a doctor, I help others! I don't leave them for dead! I don't know why the fuck you think I'd let him get hurt or killed my Cloud, but I will tell you this..."
Closing your eyes for a moment, you tried your hardest to word this as best as you could in your mind.
"...I love Sephiroth with all of my heart. I got to know and understand him in ways that neither you nor anyone else could ever even begin to grasp. He told me more than you could understand, and..." Sighing, you opened your eyes and looked at her, carefully shifting your weight in your beloved's arms. "...He understands me. He gets me. So you know what? Tell Cloud, tell Vincent... Tell every fucking person in that city. But be warned: if you want to get to him, you'll have to go through me." You hissed, glaring at her.
"And believe me; I have absolutely NO problem hurting you and the others if Sephiroth is at risk!"
Tifa now looked at a loss for words, while Sephiroth simply stood there, keeping a careful watch over Tifa. She wasn't a threat in his eyes, but you could still be at risk, and he didn't want his doctor to wind up injured. "Fine..." Tifa mumbled. "...If you don't care, then I suppose I can just tell them, now can't I?"
You glanced up at Sephiroth and smiled slightly, resting your hand on his lovingly. He looked down at you and met your gaze; a slender silver eyebrow arched in curiosity, though no words left him. A brief spark of mischief raced through your eyes, and that was all he needed to see. Smirking briefly, he glanced up at Tifa.
She looked warily between the two of you, wondering what was about to happen.
Pushing Sephiroth back from you, you stepped towards her. "Then I suppose Sephiroth should get out of here now." You stated. Without warning, tears brimmed your eyes and began to roll down your cheeks. Tifa glanced from Sephiroth's disappearing figure back to you, only to see the tears. Her dark chocolate eyes widened in surprise, and immediately she felt guilt swell up inside of her. "Tifa, I-I'm sorry. I-I was just s-so lonely, a-and he," you choked on your tears and fell into sobbing. "H-he cured that l-loneliness..."
Still watching cautiously, Tifa stepped over to your form as you sat on the ground on your knees, crying. She knelt down in front of you and wrapped her arms around you, while still watching for the silver-haired man. "I-I just..." Tifa shushed you and held you closer, your own arms finding their way around her waist. "It's okay, Layla. I know, I know..." She sighed, petting your hair. Generally she wouldn't even consider doing this, but she knew the secluded lifestyle you lived, and how scared you could get of others, hence your loneliness.
You just had a hard time trusting, and it seemed as though Sephiroth had used it to his advantage to get you to open up your mind and home to him. He had used you! Or, so Tifa thought.
"T-Tifa?"
"Yes, Layla?" She inquired softly.
"I'm sorry..." She shook her head and smiled, patting your back lovingly. "It's okay."
"If you're sure..." You whispered. She blinked, pulling back a bit to look at you. You watched her, and without warning, brought your hand around and karate chopped the back of her neck. Her eyes rolled back and she fell unconscious, collapsing against you limply.
"...I wasn't apologizing for what I said." You mumbled.
"I see your plan went well," a silky voice nearly purred. Glancing back over your shoulder, you peered up at Sephiroth, smiling in satisfaction when he brought the gag, tape and chains. Perfect!
"Yes it did. Can you help me now?" You inquired, while rolling Tifa onto her belly. Sephiroth obliged and walked over, kneeling down beside you and offering you one of the chains and the thick, iron padlocks. The only unusual thing? There were no key-holes. They had been completely filled in with a melted iron and hardened so it would be damn near impossible to get through. You took the first chain down to her ankles, where you first removed her shoes and socks.
Carefully you wrapped the chains around her ankles, putting them on to the point where they were nice and secure on the brunette's ankles. You didn't want them to move for whatever reason, and since you had a feeling she might squirm...
After looping it enough to where it even held onto her shins, you grabbed the first padlock and attached it firmly onto the chains, then took a second one to her ankles so it was stuck. Standing up, you turned and left into the kitchen, digging through your material. How where was that? Oh! Nodding, you went back upstairs and into the attic, slipping up the stairs to the dark room and digging through it. Just near the entrance laid a torch, meant for emergencies only; this would qualify as one, you thought.
Walking back downstairs, you returned to Tifa's side, only to see that Sephiroth had bound her wrists perfectly and attached wrappings onto her hands so her fingers could barely move, if at all. The padlock for her wrists were put up a little higher by her elbows, so it was out of her reach entirely.
Chuckling, you knelt down beside her legs once more and turned the torch on, sparking it a few times until it lit. That was when you welded the final pieces to the iron on Tifa's legs permanently. The only way to get through it would probably be to cut her legs off. Looking side to side, you smiled and reached to all of the chains Sephiroth brought in. Grabbing a few spikes, you turned back to Tifa and attached a few to the chains, so they were angled at her legs -- more specifically, her ankles.
There was no way in hell she was leaving here.
After successfully attaching them, you brought another chain over and, after resituating Tifa's current position, you wrapped her thighs as well, keeping them sealed shut. A padlock was attached to these as well.
Leaning back, you admired your handiwork. Then you cursed; Tifa was stirring from her sleep.
Sephiroth, seeing this, got ready to take a chain to her throat and kill her for good. You grabbed his arm and shook your head when he looked at you. "I have a better idea," you whispered.
He lowered it reluctantly and watched you as you grabbed a few black cloths. Calmly, you went to Tifa's head and smiled to yourself, leaning down and blindfolding her with the thick cloth to prevent her from seeing either of you.
Satisfied with your handiwork, you grabbed the second one and wrapped it around her head again, this time to gag her. You made sure to make it tight enough to where she couldn't bite and gnaw through it, but left it loose enough so she didn't choke.
Sephiroth watched in the meantime, waiting for you to finish up so he could stash her away from sight.
Once you were done completely tying her up, you looked up at him. "Can you grab me the first-aid kit, please?"
His eyebrow arched curiously. He didn't move. "For some earplugs, so she can't hear us or anyone else." He nodded after that and left to go grab it. You looked back to Tifa, watching her quietly. She was shifting slightly, but it didn't seem like she was awake. You shook your head slightly in amusement; you were actually doing this to your best friend, over a man no less... Well, you had a good reason.
People do crazy things when they're in love.
Sephiroth came back moments later with a small pack of ear plugs, just one pair. He offered it to you and you smiled at him as a silent 'thank you' before you turned back to Tifa. Carefully, you opened the package, then leaned over and slid the ear plugs into her ear canals, making sure they were in securely so they couldn't fall or pop out. When satisfied, you stood up and looked over your guys' handiwork. It was perfect; this should do well enough to hold her over.
Nodding in satisfaction, you grabbed a blanket and looked at Sephiroth. "I know where we can put her..." You stated softly, glancing over toward the kitchen. He nodded his head and crouched down, picking her up with ease -- the iron shackles made it slightly more difficult and definitely added to her weight, though he didn't falter in any movements he made. Quietly you led him through the household, heading through the kitchen and then upstairs. You might as well put her somewhere where no one will find her... Or at least make it less obvious. Casually, you looked around, then smirked to yourself.
This would do!
Leading him into the bathroom, you gestured to the tub. It'd be damn-near perfect. No one would suspect!
"The tub will do fine, don't you think?"
"Hm," he nodded in agreement, stepping over and lowering Tifa down into the tub. She was confused, it seemed, because she was squirming and screaming gibberish at the silver-haired man. He set her down a bit roughly and drew away, watching her with a ghost of a smirk as she squirmed around. No one would find her now. Calmly, you brought the blanket over and draped it over her form, letting it stop at her belly roughly.
"Okay, we can go," you murmured, after closing the curtain to the shower and leaving the room. You also made sure to turn off the light and close the door some more, just to make it look like it was to help keep the draft out.
Sephiroth glanced at you for a moment, but then looked to your room and back to you again. He smirked suddenly. You glanced up at him and arched an eyebrow out of curiosity. "Why are you looking at me like that...?"
Before you even realized what was going on, Sephiroth had begun his 'predatorily creepy' stalking, backing you up gradually to the bedroom. "Sephiroth...? What's wrong?"
You 'eep'd softly when your back hit the door, though your eyes didn't remove themselves from his own glowing emerald hues.
"I think we should finish what we started..." He mused, smirking at you coyly.
You swallowed the lump in your throat and leaned back into the door a bit more, watching, waiting...
You're screwed.
[Ending the chapter here. I know a lemon is long-since over due, so I'm going to write and post that on Fanfiction.net, then just post the link up in the next chapter for you lot. If you want to read it, then by all means; go right ahead. If not, then just ignore the link and proceed with the next chapter! I know this one kinda fails, but it gives you an idea of what's going to happen next and such... I kind of like this one. Anyway, I'll post the next one up soon. If you're lucky, this series is damn near complete! Maybe... Maybe not... Who knows?! -Insert maniacal laughter here.-]
