The next morning I was up first, so I snuck out of the room, and down the stairs, where my dad was sitting.

"Morning." he said, as I grabbed an orange.

"Morning." I said.

"I noticed that boy slept over last night."

"So?" I asked. "He's a nice guy."

"Why are you turning red?" he asked teasingly, and I groaned, putting my forhead to the counter-top.

"You people." I mumbled, as my hair covered my face

Simon woke up and saw his sister still asleep and Melody had gone. He slipped on his shirt and walked downstairs and saw her in the kitchen with her Dad. He walked in. "Morning sir, Melody," he said with a smile.

About five minuets later Cory came down stairs with a grin on her face, "Hello everyone."

"Morning." I said from the stove where I was cooking.

"How is everyone this fine morning?" She said brigtly.

"Good, you like french toast?" I asked, as I dipped another peice of bread into the batter, and onto the hot frying pan.

"Love It!" She said in a sing song voice as she sat down next to her brother. I laughed with a shake of my head, and flipped a finished piece onto a plate of them and walked over to the table and put it down between the three of them before I went back to the stove.

"You know, one good thing about you two here is you guy can get my daughter to eat breakfast." my dad said as I sat down between him and Simon.

"Its the most important meal of the day, or so my mum says. I think all meals are important!" Cory said with a laugh as she took a slice.

"I eat breakfast." I said, as I hit my dad's arm. "What do you think oranges are dad?"

"Fruit." he said. "At least we don't have to worry about you getting scurvy."

"Ha. Ha." I said. "Go take mom to her appointment." he stood up, and left with a laugh, and I shook my head. "He likes to think he's funny."

"Same with my Dad don't worry, I think they're all like that." Simon said between mouth fulls.

"Yeah." I said shaking my head. "So, was the couch alright?"

"I slept like a log!" Cory smiled.

"Yeah it was fine,"

"Yeah, I remember." I laughed. "I think it went something like scream, scream, scream, sleep."

She blushed, "Yeah well, it was a scary film."

"She can read the books, but let her actually see the gore and shes a complete wuss," Simon laughed nudging his sister slightly

"Yeah, I love scary films." I smiled. "Epically the gorey ones."

Cory shuddered, "Give me a good book and a roaring fire anyday,"

"I swear, she is going to marry some English teacher with a libary in his house." Simon laughed

"Oooh your so funny," Cory muttered.

I laughed, at the two siblings while I took another bite of my french toast. "So, I saw a bowling alley when I was driving home,"

"You want to go?" Cory asked sounding excited

"Hmm, let me think uh, yes." I said grinning widely.

"Woo!" she yelled dancing on her seat, "We are going bow-ling, na na na na na yeah!"

"Alright, if I had known it came with a dance..." I grinned.

"Hey its a very good dance thank you very much,"

"I'm sorry, I guess you didnt know she was such a dork when you met her," Simon said with a laugh before all attention went back to Cory who was now in a heap on the floor.

"You know I don't think the floor has ever had this much contact with a human being." I said.

"I'm ok!"She yelled flinging an arm in the air to prove the fact, "I slipped, I'm fine!"

"Sure bowling is safe?" I asked jokingly.

"Of course it is, she's actually quite good at it, suprisingly," Simon said muttering the last part.

I laughed, as I got up, and put my dish in the sink. "Alright, I'm gonna go get changed really quick." I said, before running up the stairs.
