acne.jpgI am not pregnant yet, but my skin isn’t that great and I am trying to conceive, so I don’t want to start anything that I wont be able to continue when I do fall pregnant. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Take better care of your skin. This means cleansing twice a day and exfoliating regularly; and a deep-cleansing mask used once or twice a week can help to clean out the pores. You need to read the instructions carefully as some can make your skin sore if you go into the sun. Once a pimple has started no lotions will stop it from growing, but lotions sometimes stop it from coming.

Both white heads and blackheads start out as a "microcomedone" or below the skin. The picture below is a "microcomedone". Blackheads also contain a skin pigment called melanin. This can damage the lining of the pores and the sebum allowing bacteria to get into the skin around the pimple, causing more redness, swelling and pus. This will make your acne look worse and increase the risk of permanent scars.

Too much washing can cause other skin problems, such as dryness or skin irritations. Try to keep hair clean and off the face and neck, as oil from the hair can make acne worse. The excess can clog pores and leave the skin feeling oily. Acne is the most common skin disease during adolescence and early adulthood. It peaks in females between the ages of 14 and 17 and in males between the ages of 16 and 19.
