Anata no Kanojo: Kazuya
Chapter 4 Its been a week since you've had to deal with Kusano's fiance one-uping you in class and since you've really seen Kusano. Everything lately has revolved around you three. . . lets see things from Kazuya's point of view~Morning~
I had just grabbed my cell phone and walked out of the house to see Kusano standing beside my door.
". . .Ohaiyou." I greeted slightly confused. Normally Kusano would have the keychain stand up by now. Actually, I think we're supposed to start selling something else eventually. Who sells keychains? honestly. I thought to myself as I began walking down the sidewalk.
"How is ________?" Kusano asked as he fell into step with me.
"________-san?" She seems to be pretty stressed lately. We went shopping yesterday and she said-" I started.
"Shopping?" Kusano asked.
"Hai. Shopping." I replied. An awkward silence followed. We didn't talk anymore after that. What about you and your fiance? You can't possibly still like _________. I can't possibly like ________. Right?
I continued thinking in circles until Ryoko popped up to talk to Kusano as usual.
"Ohaiyou Kusano-kun." Ryoko said sweetly. Kusano nodded and mumbled a greeting back. He didn't bother to actually look up at her. Ryoko showed her displeasure by making a face. I sighed. Not being able to watch the woman plead for attention, I took of my apron and headed for class, I'd rather get there 10 minutes early than sit and watch that crap.
~Class~
I walked into the class room to see ________ already there and staring off into space. I took my seat next to her, but she didn't notice. I found myself staring at her. Examining her features. I do like _______ don't I. I turned away and continued mulling over the thought in my head. Before I knew it class was over again and I was chasing after ________ as always even if i could only talk to her for a few seconds.
"Hey, _________-san, whats up?" I asked when I finally did catch up with her.
"Nothing really," she answered as she looked down at her watch, "I've got to go to work." She said before running off like she always does. I was going to say something to her, but I was stopped by another female. I looked to my left to see Ryoko.
"We need to talk." Ryoko said sternly.
~You~
You got to work just in time and pulled your apron over your head. Your manager walked in just seconds later.
"Ah _________-san, I've been looking for you." He said in an overly curtious tone. This was definately not going to be good.
"Hai. Nandesu ka?" You asked not really wanting to know.
"I've been looking at your customer reviews lately and. . . " He stopped mid-sentence and handed you a dishrag. "You've been demoted."
"Demoted, ka?" You asked as you looked at the rag.
"Hai." He replied curtly and pointed behind you. You looked back to see a lagre sink full of dirty dishes. You turned around to explain your situation, but your boss was long gone. You sighed as you made your way to the dishes. There was a man already drying dishes, so you went to the sink to begin washing.
"________" a familiar male voice called you.
You looked to your left to see that the man that was drying dishes was Kusano.
"Kusano-kun? What are you doing here?" You asked almost dropping the cup you had been washing. Kusano kept his eyes on the plate he was drying.
"Stop talking to him." Kusano sounded angry.
"To who?"
"To Kazuya."
"Why?"
"He likes you."
You paused, Kusano really hadn't changed much. You were just about to reply when a you over head the manager talking to a new waitress. You had a bad feeling about this. You turned to Kusano to see that he seemed pretty stressed out too, but it could just be the jealousy.
You heard heels clicking on the floor, coming closer and closer. You squeezed your eyes shut and prayed that they would go away, but they didn't and soon you heard yet another familiar voice.
"Eh? ________-san and Kusano-kun?" Kusano dropped his plate. As you turned around slowly you heard it shatter to peices on the tile floor of the kitchen. It was Ryoko.
